I dont know I found some of the thoughts bumping around his head, not very nice.

He is not a person I would spend time with. Strangely enough I wouldnt mind spending time with Zaeed since he reminds me of my Grandfather and some of his other friends.

Old Army guys have the best stories ever.

"Got a minute?  You might learn something..."

I do like Zaeed.  He's a very interesting character.  I hope if he's around in ME3 they develop him more.  He has potential.
Garrus-related:  I remember the very first time I played Garrus's loyalty mission...I brought Zaeed and was disappointed he sat there like a big doorstop the whole time.  Turns out, doesn't matter who you bring, they say nothing. :P

edit: top.  I warned you guys!

If Kai does show up I am going to leave him between Grunt. Legion, Garrus, and Jack and tell them to all make a wish.

Shepard does come on hard to Garrus though in the romance, which I like because if Garrus took the lead... we would never really get anywhere.

Eh?

I consider Garrus and Saren to be on that list ... Saren just because of an educated guess that he only goes for turian women.

I dont know about that, I got the feeling he was probably with Benezia. She probably tried to use sex to persuade him.
What? Shes an asari. Would anyone be surprised?

Saren actually probably indoctrinated her by his mere presence.  We had a wall of text fest about this some time ago.

I like how he is no nosense, but does have lines that show he does care, like after Horizon.
Besides I saw him kill three krogan in a row once which was awesome.

Although when I walk into his room I keep expecting to hear the BBC playing and him tell me:
Shepard! I was just barbacuing some goddam shrimp on the barbe, got a minute might get something good to eat?

Ouch.  Did you ever see the original version of "The Hitcher", starring Rutger Hauer and C. Thomas Howell?  I repeat...ouch.
I'd see more of a clean headshot with Garrus, though. ;)

Eh?

Shepard pretty much pulls the whole show along.
She starts it, confronts him about his thoughts on it, and pretty much does most of the work.
Garrus dosent even watch the vids.
The wine was a nice touch though.

Ah who am I kidding I will just say to Jack "you know how I didnt let you kill Cerberus people? Well here is one! Have fun you too!"
While leaving them both in a bunker for an hour.

I don't understand how that means he couldn't lead if he wanted to.  If he had an inclination, and Shep showed sings of mutual interest, I don't think he would sit around.  Garrus doesn't do much sitting around.

Right, but she did initially try to turn him back to good. You cant tell me she wouldnt have tried to use sex.

As some of the fics point out.  Most skillfully. ;)

I can't tell if you think he's Australian or English because you mix BBC with shrimp on the barbe.

Sorry, the accent discussion always goes through my mind with the likes of Zaeed and Hock. (South African! It's South African!)

I now return you to your Garrus discussion. Who speaks with a sexy flanging American accent.

Actually, I don't think she would.  Nothing about Benezia says manipulative sex to me.  Not the way pre-indoctrinated Benezia is described.  General asari charm which can't help but be interpreted as sexual by many species?  Maybe.  But I don't think she would actually seduce him, and I think Saren would have known of it if she tried.  Benezia's smart.  She knows that approach wouldn't work.  I think she'd try something more subtle.

Im not saying he CANT.

Its just in the romance that Shep does most of the groundwork.
Garrus does seem like a person who takes sex not as a casual thing though, and if he did care for the person like Shep than I think that it is important to him. The last thing that Garrus wants is to screw it up with shep.

I did lol at a fic that had Shep only saying "wow", laughing, and smiling for a few minutes after she got calibrated, and Garrus kept thinking "I either did really good, or very very very badly".

An Arkansas accent, if I'm not mistaken. Whatever that is.

If that's how everyone there speaks, I'm gonna regret not taking that graduate school offer at the U of Arkansas. ;)

And Pacifien, I didn't realize page # stuff was off limits now...my bad. A good decision, actually, I think...anyway, I'm happy to stay away from that from now on. ;)

Actually the BBC is widely viewed across the Commonwealth nations.
Now that you mention it though he does have a cockney accent more than an Austrailian one.

To keep this Garrus related, I wonder what Garrus would think about most human food, he might be wierded out by seafood I think.

Like I said, it's an educated guess that Saren only likes turian women, the same way it's an educated guess that Garrus doesn't find the asari attractive (because thinking someone is attractive and considering a romance with them are two different things). I don't think he was interested in Benezia at all, or anyone at that point in time - he was just a man on a mission driven by indoctrination. And even though I've joked about Saren fighting off Benezia like my Shepard had to fight off Liara, I agree with Ragabul that she was indoctrinated by him, nothing more.

Off-topic: I would like Zaeed. He reminds me so much of my favorite action movie characters. Unless an Xbox version of ME2 is released with the DLC, he and the Saren statue will be in my game come January when I buy it for the PS3.

Once out of curiosity, at the "I know you can find someone closer to home", I picked the breaking off option. I had saved right before yes, I just wanted to know how he'd react before the relationship...picked up some mometum. shepard says something about how they'd be better as friends, and he says something like "Exactly! If we want to share an intimate moment, we can blow something up...again."

It made me think he was feeling...pushed, that the realtionship was mostly Shepard. But surely those two have enough trust and respect that one could plainly say to the other one that they were uncomfortable. As I said, this was just before things picked up...so I believe from that point on, if you break it off, then he's upset.

So for his romance, I wouldn't say he's just there for he ride, it's just...baby steps or something to that effect. He at least tried with the music and the...casual outfit, right?

As for not watching the vids...maybe he was just feeling confident? I mean, we don't know the nature of these "relationship aides", maybe they're like futuristic "Your body and you" kinds of things, and nobody likes that :P

He says Virmire reminds him of where he grew up on Palaven.  Hence oceans and probably seafood.  So I don't think he would be weirded out by the concept of seafood.  Our specific seafood might be very different than Palaven seafood though.

I think aliens would be really, really weirded out that we drink cow's milk.

I wish I could I lost all my favorites when I got a nasty virus on my PC.
They were some of the files that got wiped to remove it.

THe only thing that I can remeber is that one of the chapters was called "Words not Needed".
Sorry I shouldnt have mentioned it without a link.

I think that if Garrus was weirded out and wanted to break up something, part of the onus should be on him. Why should FemShep have to do *everything*??

And humans are the only mammals who drink the milk of ANYTHING as adults. That makes us unique (and weird), already. :/

I don't think Garrus was feeling pushed.  I think he was amazed Shepard picked him and wanted to make sure she was aware of other options.  I think he is keen on the idea but is given pause because he started over thinking things and possibly deludes himself into thinking that something must be up because he's a turian with scars with no place to go and people like Jacob are running around.  I think he is more concerned with what femshep is thinking there than what he's thinking himself.  He's fishing for clarification because Shep was pretty vague about what she wanted in "reach and flexibility" beyond "SEX!"
