Just like their art, turian dancing is rarely seen outside Palaven, and with good reason.
...Because it would blow your mind.

I just replayed ME1 and every time I saw a turian shuttle crashed on some planet, I thought of that piece of turian art in Kasumi's mission.  They had a lot in common stylistically.

I agree with you.  I also really like his outfit.

WOW.  I mean, I've seen the one shot of the costume before, even started a whole thread about it in the main forum, but I hadn't seen those other pictures on that page before.  Just...wow!  Absolutely incredible Garrus costume.

Ok, this is intimidating.

I like Garrus' scars...but if it made him feel better...I say heal it.

Also, his nose is like a cats.

I'm honestly on the fence about Garrus' scars. They add character to him, but after LotSB, I feel bad for him. He's self-conscious about them and if it helps, heal them.

If his nose is like a cat's it must be this sexy, sexy kitteh.

(seriously...isn't that the cat equivalent of a "yeah...definitely!" face?) XD

I don't think I can imagine Garrus without the scars at this point in time.

Me either....I don't like that white thing on the side of his face though. The kitty just needs a visor. :D

I personally like the scars. I really gives a sense of what's he's going through. Otherwise, I don't care, since (I'm going to be honest so I'm grabbing my flame shield) that my first impression of him was how aesthetically ugly he was.

I would like to see the scars without the bandage. Hell, I've been intimate with him...I want to see all of him, pretty or not.

I agree that I want the bandages off. And I still vote for a little bit of cyborg turian, but that may just be me.

That cats adorableness is burning a hole through my soul.

I think the bandages will come off eventually, though it does look like part of the bandage is serving as a hearing aid. He'd need something to replace that.

Glad to see I'm not the only one to notice that turians had cute little kitty noses.

It looks like the implant is actually holding the top half of his mandible on to his face. (Think of it as, what if your jaw bone got cut in half at the hinge joint.) But this brings to mind a question: Turian ears--how the heck do they work?? Obviously, there's no external structure there, as with a human pinna, but clearly they can hear. So where are the associated structures?

I dont think the mandible is detatched, and even if it was it was probably reatatched with more then just a glorified band-aid.
I could have sworn i saw the turian ear structure once before. Mark my words, I will find it.

I'd really like to see Bioware release medical charts of the various species in a collector's edition or something.

Be pretty cool to see.

This is what you find when you look up "turian ear" on google.

Unfortunately i couldn't find it.

I do have a theory though. You know those 3 or 4 scales on the upper neck near the where the mandible connect to the jaw? I think those scales function as the ear. Maybe they can feel the vibrations of sound.

Imagine how fast he'd dismiss that claim.

Pretty fast, I'd imagine. xD It would be hilarious to see him dismiss it in-game, being all nervous.

About Garrus' cybernetics... I wrote a post somewhere in this thread about what I wanted it to look like, but by now I forgot and the mental image of it is gone. I think it would be cool to see the cybernetics under the bandage though. They might look a little like Saren's near the jaw/mandibles.

@TheodoricFriede: If you find a screenshot of turian ears, post it here! :) Because Saren has earplugs and I have no idea how he uses them.

Saren has ear plugs? O.O Now that's interesting... (since I didn't know)

I would find it interesting if there was some form of cybernetics if Garrus reveals his bandages. But I think it would probably look like renegade Shepard's scars, minus the glowing eyes and scars.

Haha, hilarious! :P
And great pic, but the Garrus tongue is conspicuously and painfully absent.  Otherwise, good artwork. ;)

Yeah, he does. :) Quote from Revelation, page 150, after he tortured the batarian:

... The screams had physically hurt Saren's ears, and now he had a pounding headache.

Next time, he thought as he rubbed his temples, I'll bring earplugs.

I've read that scene with Saren and the batarian so many times, the book automatically opens to those pages. xD And I just noticed that "next time" probably means it's pretty common for Saren to get headaches from the screams during his interrogations.

Perhaps that is the actual function for the fringe.Though the turian fringe justifies it's existence just by being cool of course.

Velarns wife might have some secret sweetheart herself too you know. If she is seeing a human that might explain some of his attitude against humans. But on second thought I think he is a jerk to everyone despite their spiecies. It's part of his charm.

I vote male unromanced Shepards get back at  Verlan by "spending quality time" with his wife.
That'll teach him.

That would be kind of funny, but sad at the same time... unless his wife only hooked up with a human after Velarn got his mistress, then it's just funny. xD Poor Velarn.

I think their ears are between their mandable and the bottom of their fringe...

Don't much see where else it could be.

Do Garrus' eyes sometimes change color?
