The turian councilour is a charming guy isn't he? I think it's rather nice to see someone who refuses to be intimidated by Shepards tantrums. He have integrity.

It is a pity Sheploo can't romance Garrus, though, especially after having Liara and Kelly available for FemSheps. Yay for the straight male-dominated world of gaming?

I have two Shepards: 1 male that romanced Tali and bromanced Garrus, and 1 female that did the opposite. I found Hale to be the better voice actor, but I prefer Meer (partly just because he's a guy).

Same for me, plus my KaidanShep.

Maybe it's because I'm female and therefore have a bias for Hale/FemShep, but I can't find anything that I prefer about Sheploo. Not the acting, not the gender, not the looks, not the creepy, creepy smile. If Tali wasn't a romance option, I wouldn't even have bothered with him.

Tali has been FZ'd for life! Admittedly, I'm not sure if a MShep I made would romance her. I was thinking about it, and I think I might make an MShep for Jack. That one, out of all the possible Male LIs is the one that interests me the most.

(No, I'm not bitter about not being able to talk to her anymore as a Fem... NOT AT ALL. -.-)

Awww, but Tali's romance is so cuuuuute

Then again, it is a close call between her and Jack, I agree.

I'm probably going to reuse my MainShep to romance Thane on a different playthrough, although admittedly, it will feel a little weird after Garrus. Maybe I'll scrounge up the courage and run a brand new Shep for him, while waiting for ME3...Cuz I still don't have an Earthborn. Could be a good occasion to try it out, and she'll certainly fit right in with Thane's redemption perspective.

Just a related thought, would it a female turian LI make us more motivated to get a maleShep through the game? For me the answer is definitely YES!

Lovegreno - I'd romance a fem turian on a MShep so fast, the developers heads would spin.

But... hopefully she'd have a personality to back up her being a turian.

Otherwise... no dice. They'd still be on the hook to make her awesome. Being a fem turian is a small piece of the awesome puzzle. XD

Is there anything you think Garrus could do to make your Shepard think maybe... this won't work? I mean, I know this is the Love thread, we all love the character to bits and pieces... but is there something in his personality TO YOUR SHEPARD that would make anything more intimate than friendship not plausible?



I know there's really nothing Garrus could do to make my Alpha Shep turn him away, but my Beta Shepard can't see him in a romantic light. Hell, she's barely his friend. He's too much of a loose cannon at times. Reacting without thinking of the bigger picture. Resorting to violence first. These things are things my Beta Shep just can't get past.



How about you guys? (/eyes Kim cause of her multiple Sheps Xd) And include the bromances in this too. Like I was saying with my Beta Shep, she barely considers Vakarian a friend...

Mmm.. no, I can't think of a reason, honestly, for me to roll Sheploo. I always play some part of myself in my Shepard so I just can't get into playing a male (in any game where we have the option, anyway). When there is no option.. I feel more like a guide to a character and so find the game a little less enjoyable (i.e. Zelda). In this day and age, though, the companies are well aware of female gamers so there's no excuse for a female PC to not be an option. So no female option in recently-made games means I neither buy nor play the game.

I'd love to see a (breast-less) female Turian LI, though. Hell, I'd love to see female Turians in general.

I would also love a little little LITTLE drama with a former lover of Garrus', too. FemShep would naturally win the competition.

Yea, it's a tough question because most of us come here liking the character.
But I was just thinking of some of the big differences between my Shepards and this question popped up because one's in love with him, despite some of his faults, and the other is like... "Uhhh yea, that's nice. /facepalm"

Anything that would make him seem less.. well, manly. I love a manly man and if he were suddenly super concerned about the shininess of his carapace or pranced around giggling like a school girl, I'd have to call it quits. And then I'd have to resort to Zaeed 'cause I'd need something buff to erase that image from my mind. Garrus would remain a friend, though.

If he habitually did something really weird and gross, like picked his nose and ate it, that wouldn't fly either. I understand it could be normal for Turians, but.. just.. ew. He'd have to get off of my ship.
