Eh, I kind of hope that there aren't any hardcore VS survivor fans that lurk on this thread. Cause quite honestly I'm not to stoked about a VS survivor DLC. Just leave that part for ME3. What I want is more ME story based DLC rather than fan service.Sand King wrote...

And on those DLCs I want them to actually add some freaking squad banter for once.

Same here, I don't like DLC that focuses on one character. I would prefer something that advances the main story more than anything.Mr.BlazenGlazen wrote...

That was kind of my problem with LotSB. It seemed a lot more like fanservice than anything else. Though it was really nicely written and I ended up liking Liara a bit more for it. I wanted the other squadmates to have some parts in it too, but they were pretty much like (Sand King wrote...

It was fanservice, it was well written and enjoyable but still fanservice. The squad mates not talking didn't bother me much considering that we did get some background info on many characters.Mr.BlazenGlazen wrote...

I haven't played LotSB yet, but from the Dossiers on ME wiki, some of them are a bit fan-servicey (exposed chesty Thane anyone?). But I do like how Garrus's Dossier had more information in it, but was disappointed there was any more.
But did anyone get the hint from Garrus' dossier that we'll see female turians? (Meeting Solana in ME3?)

You rang?
But honestly, I'm not sure how I'd feel about a VS DLC. I hope that if they have a DLC bridging ME2 & 3 and that it's actually plot based with the VS in it, rather than focusing on JUST the VS. I think that would also help the VS' popularity.
Oh, and I hope they actually put in other squadmate's dialogue. There was ONE line from Thane in LotSB, but nothing from Garrus. I really find it hard to believe he'd stay silent while Shepard was driving since for my Sheps he's usually the one driving.

You're welcome. ^^
It doesn't bother me so much, about the "everyone finds Asari attractive" line because (1)I took it to be an exaggeration of how so many do chase after Asari and/or accept Asari relationships, and (2)to be her attempt to comfort and encourage Shepard in her relationship with Garrus.
For example I am jewish. I have said on nemerous occasions the line "everybody hates the jews."
Is that true? No, of course not, but its easyer then saying, "there are people in this world from varying backrounds dont particularly care for my people."
The same can be said for asari. "Everyone finds asari atractive" just means "There are alot of people from different species who find asari atractive."
Forgive me for using a real world example.
Fair enough, it could just be a...broad generalization.
It's not as though it ruined the scene for me or anything, it just...slightly diverted from the topic. I looked at that thread, discussing what Liara says about each LI, and for every other one she stays focused on him/her. Again, not a huge deal, it's just the difference of one or two lines. Sometimes little things like that make me think...maybe Bioware is not as invested in Garrus's romance as some of the others (especially Tali's), but I may be overreacting.
After all...jeez, the stuff for Jacob? He's "stable". That's it. Nice![]()
that's how I felt

GARDIAN lasers are computer controlled. From the books we know that the Alliance has been secretly experimenting with AI technology for years. Who knows what else is in the GARDIAN defense mechanism. They could use it for long range scans as well, like an early warning system. Just imagine one of these GARDIAN lasers with all its additional technology falling into the hands of mercs or slavers. Wouldn't look too good on the Alliance. Now that would make for a great VS DLC, wouldn't it? And also confirm that the Alliance hasn't really turned their backs on Shepard.
Just my speculations on the subject though.

Hey Sia! I concur. Part of me (the naive, childish part) hopes that they've delayed VS DLC because they've been putting in extra effort for us hardcore ME1 fans that miss our LIs.Sialater wrote...

But Garrus and Tali especially must have dialogue because it would be soo awkward if they just stood there. I found that concept really odd in LotSB.

I wouldn't - partly because there's a good chance I'd never get to play it, and partly because it makes more sense for DLC to move the plot forward at this point. Even though I don't want to miss out on anything important to the plot, that seems to be the purpose of this "bridge the gap" DLC. Anything that adds to the romances or character development of our ME2 squadmates should be done in ME3. Everything you suggested about Garrus is something I'd like to see in ME3 (although, the Omega talk would have made more sense in ME2 around the time of his loyalty mission, but there are ways it could be brought up again).Hyrule_Gal wrote...
would anyone REALLY like a romance DLC that allowed you to talk to your LI like you did with Liara? An "after the reaper" DLC where you can talk about what happened so far. So you can talk to garrus more about omega and find out how he felt when he heard the news that Shepard died, maybe even bring up how you influenced him in the past.

I'd like some "after the Collector base" DLC where you can talk to every squad mate for some "look how far we've come" chats, but I don't want it to be romance-specific (having some extra lines for this and that character if you've romanced him/her would be nice, though).

Given Garrus' quote about classy antique stores, Garrus is an antique fan (Kasumi, too, from the books). Garrus is an antiquarian (!!!). I can see what you did there, Bioware!
While he is an antiquarian, he is not anti-quarian.

Liara about Garrus: Yes, you came back! And now, Garrus is doing a lot more than just calibrating the Normandy's guns!
How would Liara know about Garrus's calibrations of the Normandy's guns? He didn't do that in ME1; he worked on the Mako 24-7. How would she have known that Garrus was doing this job in ME2? She never saw it!

I think that'll be in one of the "bridge the gap" DLCs too, judging by the fact that Liara's story was covered the same way. Now I just have to wait for a ME2 Ultimate Edition, like the one they made for Dragon Age.J4N3_M3 wrote...
so maybe I wasn't clear in my post earlier....but a VS DLC that focuses on what's the VS has been doing and probably still is and that still helps with the plot...I can see that happen.
Maybe she did see after she got back to the Normandy? Or, the more likely explanation - the Shadow Broker knows all.kglaser wrote...

I would've loved if SB had mentioned your romancin'. Now that would freak me out.
SB: You travel with fascinating companions, doctor. I'm surprised you brought the turian. I hear Shepard is rather sick after her tangles with him.
LT: You're not putting your hands on...wait, what? OH F*** YOU, SHEPARD!
