the Shadow Broker knows all.

I'll go with that one. :D

And it's probably true. xD MainShep would want to go through all of the guy's files until she finds information on Saren.

But going through all his files also gets you info you may not have wanted to see...like TIM's sex life..../shudder

edit: Top!  (I like this tradition the Tali fans started; hopefully it isn't annoying you all)

That one really surprised me... the part about the asari (twice). But I assume the Shadow Broker did have information on Saren, and was going to add what Tali would have sent him to the collection.

I like the top of page picture tradition. Chibi Garrus is adorable, and every now and then, someone posts a Saren.

There was a really awesome Saren fairly recently, which I would like to find. It was a newer artwork. I'll repost it if I find it (and it fits in to the discussion).

That's why I like garrus, he seems to not care about them , if you bring him with anyone else to talk to lorik ,he doesn't say anything pervy about the asari, if you take him to the strip clubs he doesn't say anything about them either. I hope his aloof attitude continues ^_^.

I never really noticed that.  Now you mention it, even Ashley says something about the female "attributes" at the club.  Garrus doesn't have a human fetish, and fortunately, neither does he have an asari fetish. ;)

@kglaser: Was the Saren picture in this thread? And I think we're allowed to post images as long as they don't fill up the page, take the place of conversation, or something like that. Plus, Saren is a turian and that means he's on-topic! xD

@Hyrule_Gal: Kai Leng doesn't like the asari. :) Some of our Shepards count in that minority as well, like my MainShep who only likes turians. I didn't read about Udina and the reporter though. More stuff must have been added to the Wiki since the last time I checked.

...
I missed that one.

HOLY GOD I HAVE TO GO BACK AND SEE IT!
But I can't!  Stupid Algebra! /cries

I'm stalling, wanting to say this:
I thought the Liara DLC did a lot of fanservice things.
THAT MAKES ME HAPPY.
WHY IS FAN SERVICE SEEN AS A BAD THING?
WE ARE FANS.
WE LIKE TO BE SERVICED. (herpderp)

Plus, what it does as a segway into 3 is a GOOD idea.  ME1 you had the Council and Admiral Hackett giving you direction, in ME2, you had TIM.  Liara's your director now.  It's AWESOME.

What they've done with Liara's character has made me like her a lot more this time around.  She's grown, from starting out a be a bit creepy with my Alpha Shep, to now being a good friend.  I love it.

BW writers did good.  Keep it up folks.  (Though if you make me chose between a shirtless Garrus and Fem turians... I may cry... jus' sayin'...)

Ok, back to homework.
<3

Edited for derp.

My examples came from the secret videos you can watch after you finish LotSB. Seriously, they're not even TRYING to make out the asari aren't just space strippers anymore, that hotel you crash into sealed the deal for me. Really? A hotel named after your va jay jays Liara? *blergh* Do not want.

Haha, I just missed most of the Garrus-related stuff when I was in there, but I saw Timmy's romantic interludes and Jacob's workout regime.   Haha, I'm pathetic! :wizard:

Say it, sister!  I'll tell you right now, Liara is one of my least-favorite characters, but I was really glad to get the DLC because it effectively advances the story, it was extremely well-done, and it did make me like her more.

We all owe a great debt to fanservice...Garrus LI (and squadmate presence in ME2), anyone??
I really, really agree with you.
Also about the algebra.  I have to use it all the time at work and it still makes me want to jump off a prothean pyramid. :pinched:

The Saren picture is awesome. :D I don't think I've seen it before.

...Wait, Liara's our new "director" now? I really hope not. I was worried about Shepard being forced to leave Cerberus and go back to the Alliance/Council, but I would actually prefer that to working for Liara. D: Something new to worry about, I guess. I agree about some fanservice being a really good thing though. There are some ways that it can go horribly wrong, but Garrus' and Tali's romances were fanservice done right.

Also, I didn't get around to watching the vids from LotSB yet, so that would explain not knowing about Udina. (I did read about the hotel though.)

Somehow I missed hearing about Udina. I have an even more difficult time envisioning him doing nasty things than I do for TIM. XD

I wonder if BioWare read that me and other members of the TIM thread were saying we couldn't find evidence of him being a womanizer yet. xD Or the conversations from members here wondering about Garrus' mother/siblings. They're watching. They must be watching.

...ME2 Ultimate Edition, please, BioWare?

I hope we can have the choice of blackmailing everyone in ME3 thanks to Liara's intel.

And I'm hopeful for an ME2 Ultimate Edition as well! But we have to wait until the DLC finishes...

If I'm reading the lines right (I could be off), and if you pretty much tell TIM to F OFF at the end of ME2... I think they might be gunnin' for a "solo" Shepard come ME3.

I'm not saying Liara is going to be runnin' the show.  No no.  I'm saying she's your info.  She's where you might get your next tip off, or at least have the best and most info available to you.  Like Hackett and TIM, she might be where you get your direction.  But I think we can all agree that at this point, Shepard's really running the show with this one (wo)man crusade on saying the galaxy from sexyscary voiced living machines.

Jus' sayin'...

/gets throttled by her homework OMG I'M COMINGFFFFFFFFFF-

<3s for you KG.

Also... what's this?  Is there rumor floating about that there will be VS DLC?

I have two words for that:

YES. PLEASE.
or
OMG NAO
or
WHEN?! GIFF!

/functions jumps out of her book and ambushes her

I dont want to be the bubble burster here, but chances are if they do make this, it will just be a bunch of online vouchers rather then dlc on the disk.
I only bring this up because, if i remember correctly, you (or someone here) dont go online to download anything.

And Theodoric, that'd be Kim Shepard you mean.

And also, if anyone is keeping track, I think it's only fair they have VS DLC.  For crying out loud.  There is a terrible disparity there.  It's only fair people!

I was wondering if they ever did the VS DLC, I wonder how are they going to incorporate it to bridge the story? We don't know what will truly link ME2 to ME3... D:

I still have faith in BW. They could make it work. In my mind, if they did VS DLC, that would even the score across the board. The only resistance I could fathom would be from Wrex fans, and I haven't heard complaints on that score, since he's not a potential LI. With VS DLC, everyone else is covered, and we could proceed to ME3 apace.

Just my opinion no need to go spreadin' it around. :P

Blackmailing characters with the dossier info, huh? I'm sure MainShep would say something like "TIM, you should resurrect Saren, or I'll tell everyone what you did with the asari matriarch twice" if she could. xD I'd like to see the look on Kai's face if he was there.

I wouldn't mind Liara having a role providing information for some, but MainShep really didn't sound like she quit Cerberus. I just want the option, that's all.

It seems very possible now. They did it for ME1 and are about to release one for DAO. From what I've read, it looks like at least the stuff before "bridge the gap" DLC will be released with the PS3 version of ME2. I think it'll take a while like Alexine said though, just because all the DLC hasn't come out yet. If they don't, then I'll never see it in-game. I worry about it being required for ME3, but if that's the case... then there's no point in buying ME3.

I agree with this. Plus I'm already 90% sure theres going to be one anyway, it just seems that they will head in that direction. Also how do you guys feel about that bonus liara DLC in terms of romance quantity? What I mean is,  if she appears in ME3 too, that means liara is romancable in all three games and would be given (so far anyway) the most attention and focus as a LI. Do you think Bioware will even things out in some way for the others beacuse of this extra content?

I don't know, but if Garrus is a squaddie in ME3 (pleasepleasepleaseplease BW, I have no shame I will beg!!), then he was a potential squadmate in all 3 games, and that would satisfy me...although I'm not gonna lie, I want it all!! Garrus for squadmate and LI in ME3 pls. :D

I swear I behave like a crack addict when it comes to the mass effect series, I need a release date...and shirtless garrus stat!
