I rather liked the police officer one in the samara recruitment, she stood out because she was just an asari doing her job. She wasn't there to give anyone a boner . And the wine pouring scene in LotSB? Sorry Liara, that was leftovers from the night before, Garrus and Shepard didn't get to finish it on account of all the sex LOL

Haha. I was thinking they never touched it because it is dextro-wine, and it might be harmful to digest. Not that my Shepard minds ingesting other liquids... XD

I agree that it wouldn't make sense for Garrus to leave for ME3. Only a few squadmates have reasons, and they're either not very good or involve the squadmates helping out in other ways. (Come on, Wrex! Krogan army for ME3!)

Also agree that not everyone should want to jump Shepard. My poor Shepards, give them a break. The characters can flirt if Shepard is their type, and by "type" I mean more than "living and breathing" - then back off if Shepard chooses the "do not want" option. Actually, flirting characters could be done very well if there was an option to tell them that Shepard's not interested. Lorik could have pulled it off well, in my opinion.

I'm actually a big fan of Samara. Even though she looks like she has a major wedgie and well...I would've preferred if she weren't interested in romance period (that's why I'm open to new squadmates in ME3--just once I'd like a female to say, "No, Shepard, I don't want to have sex with you ever. Let's just kill things."), she's very...elegant. Someone described her as a paladin as a reason for not liking her...but I love paladins!

I don't want to dislike asari, but...it's frustrating that they can apparently do everything. To keep it relevant--people discuss how difficult it would be for a human to be with a turian because they've got claws and humans are "soft". Well, I do believe asari are among the "soft" races, too, but they seem to be plenty popular among turians. At least with humans there'd be no...what was it? The lifespan talk? We're not having the lifespan talk because we have roughly the same lifepsan.

Heh, I remember replaying that section...think I accidentally spoke with Lorik before ever even speaking with Anoleis, and as a goodbye, Shepard said, "I should let you go", to which he replied something like, "Let you go? Do all humans see conversation an an entrapment?"

It's really easy to miss some amusing nuggets of dialogue in both games...this is in spite of the fact that I would've certainly sat with Lorik and listened to him talk about nothing if I had the chance.

The only reason why I see Garrus leaving is to help his mother's condition (indicated in his dossier on the LotSB dlc), but then again, it would be out of character for him. If it was pre-ME2 Garrus, I think it would suit, but with what's happened, I don't think that Garrus would like to strike it out on his own for a long time.

I don't like how everyone jumps at my ManSheps. It's unflattering and one of them I made butt-ugly (by accident btw, stupid ME character creation cameras). I actually wish there was some males (preferably respectable turians *cough*) to have a bit of a flirt with my FemSheps. Unfortunately, asari don't count. XP

I admit, I might not be a huge fan of Garrus (somethings I don't like) but I don't hate the poor guy, I just wished Bioware would deliver the potinal Garrus has. Thus I support Garrus back in hopes for character dev!

That's nice of you to say Kraidy, I've read some things that people have said about Garrus that has made this pathetic fangirl want to cry.

I can understand some things that people object to about his character, and even if they hate him, but to carry on like the proverbial pork chop (sorry for the Aussie slang here but it's the most approprate term) seems like such a waste of energy.

I don't see the point in waling on any characters. BW may have created some characters I like less, but none are bad and there is nothing to be gained by insulting other characters. I'm not out to hurt anyone's feelings anyway. We all have our favorites and I respect it.

All characters have flaws, even some of my favs have flaws. Garrus like everyone else has flaws. For me I feel that Bioware is not doing a alot with him and I am disapointed in that. If you want an in depth write up just let me know.

Garrus is a good character, just needs more work.

I don't dish characters either. I think it's better to say nothing at all instead of saying it. Being vocal about your opinions is okay, as long as you stay on the fence and not hurt anyone.

Now I'm curious, Kraidy. What would you consider Garrus' potential?
