I can see working for the STG.



For me at least I have Mordin, a hero and famous scientist to back me up with the STG.

Samara can back me up to the Asari.

Grunt and Wrex can help me with the Krogan.

Legion and Tali with the Geth and Quarians,



So yah I dont think I need Cerberus.



Garrus is the resident Badass-ologist so no need for anyone else really.

I REALLY want a showdown with timmy, he's been sitting there with his shirt open, acting like a smug bastard the whole game. My shepard only became a crazy revenge lady because of the constant attempts of indoctrination by cerberus "We're really nice people,REALLY, here have a cookie" even though she knows first hand that they are evil , the whole game tried to make you sound like YOU were the crazy one for not liking them ,she eventually snapped and I don't bame her.

Shep, Zaeed, Mordin, and Garrus are so far the only ones to get in that circle.

I know how you feel, here’s what would have actually gone down during that intro;

Miranda: Well since we’re getting everything out into the open, is there anything you want to ask before we go commander?

Shepard: Didn’t you read my background? I’m a SOLE SURVIVOR, I went on a killing spree after I found out you guys murdered my squad, I blew up Cerberus labs and happily shot scientists in the face. You’ve basically pissed away billions of credits just to revive someone who not only really wants to kill you all but could actually do it, if that isn’t an epic fail I don’t know what is. What POSSIBLE reason do you have that will make me want to help you and not shoot you both right now and just steal your ship.

Miranda: Well-

Shepard: Don’t care *shoots them* I f**king LOVE these new renegade interrupts!

Last night a made an animated avatar for another ME forum I go to, I thought that some of the Garrus/Turian fans here would like it.

I used Garrus' in-game model and texture's which I modified with my own rig to make the animation.

Its proving to veeeery popular on DevART.

I still think thats an awsome picture, if only i could do that kind of detail.

Anyways i crawl out of my hidey hole and catch up a bit, with the issue of bestailty, considering that the aliens are sapient, capable of thoughts and feelings and considering that they are unfortunately fictional *shakes fist* it surprises me that there's people out there like that...well...very openly opposed like that. i've never had an issue with others views/beliefs and was raised to be accepting. *shakes head* well theres bound to be someone somewhere like that.

I'm also surpised that Garrus is able to remain positive and optimistic despite what happened with the team. I mean he could've turned out like Zaeed or in a way Jack. both allow elements of their past to repeatedly haunt them and it shows in the way they behave, respond to shepard and in their loyalty missons too.

Random note, heh heh i was drawing a little bit during work today since there wasn't much on and just for no reason just starts drawing chibi versions of Femshep. i may attempt garrus at one point. I even got some customers and fellow staff praising my work. considering i can only draw anime style

Speaking of Zaeed, i was randomly looking through the security cameras he has set up and one happens to be in the engine room...hmmm

I agree with the people who say they don't really want to play ME3 without Garrus in it. After having him in ME2 and being able to romance him, I really want to see how it ends. I won't want to play if he isn't a squadmate or if I don't get some good romance dialogue and some closure. I have a feeling BioWare will go all out and get everyone in as squadmates but I don't want to get my hopes up.

Oh, thats stupid what people are saying about a romance with an alien is bestiality.

It would be lazy of BW to not give us some old favourites like Wrex, Tali and Garrus in squad just because they were killable in previous games. Their popularity is also a strong economical incentive to make them come up with something. So therefore, let's make Garrus even more popular with threads like this!

agreed tenfold, more romance scenes, more diologue and more garrus!!!! will be needed to make ME3 truly epic. plus a good happy ever after scene, i won't be too impressed if the only choice is Shepard having to sacrifice herself AGAIN for the greater good, for paragons or sacrificing someone close for renegades.

Um, this sounds like my paragade's lost twin sister or something....

Mine significantly improves over the course of ME1 and ME2.  She's cold, utilitarian, polite but unpersonable, and pretty ruthless in ME1.  I think even if Garrus had been romanceable then, I couldn't have romanced him at the start of ME1.  By the end of ME2, she's a lot better, capable of having normal friendships and relationships without her brain hitting the "ACHTUNG!  ABORT, ABORT!" button.  Now let's just hope Garrus doesn't end up in a bathtub or something.

On Sole Survivor Shepard: I agree that it would be fun to shout at TIM, but ultimately the reason why my fiercely anti-Cerberus Earthborn/Sole Survivor/Paragade Shepard joined forces with them was because it'd be selfish for her to risk galactic safety for her personal opinions.   She still, to the end of ME2, is an enemy of Cerberus.  I took every opportunity to call out TIM and the other Cerberus agents, stab them in the back, and aid the Alliance.  However, putting your own history with Cerberus ahead of the lives of zillions of colonists is idiotic.

And hey, TIM got what he paid for.  No control chip?  BOOM goes the Collector base!

It was about 2 - 4 hours work re-building the models and textures to removie all of the scars and blast marks. about 1/3rd of the face is a direct mirror image of the other side.

Workers, without a doubt.  Garrus's work on Omega proved that he's not going to harm innocents whenever he can avoid it.  Garrus, in fact, never would've lit fire to the refinery and placed himself in that position anyway.  He's a compassionate Renegade, with his capacity for compassion one of the key differences between him and Zaeed.

Yes!!! Although I have a feeling Garrus will never be as popular as Tali we can still try! We're at least second most popular but I hope Tali comes back too. They should reward people who have their squad come out all alive by giving us all our squad back...or at least the LIs. Didn't save all your squad? Well thats unfortunate, you get generic character A or less squadmates. What would be the point of gathering a team all ME2 if they're just going to be reduced to cameos? That would make alot of fans unhappy...especially if it was Garrus and Tali.

I was very sad as I'm sure everyone else was, when all Garrus had to say to me was "Can it wait for a bit? I'm in the middle of some calibrations". He needs alot more dialogue in ME3 to make up for ME2. I haven't heard this myself but I read about how BioWare makes fun of the lack of Garrus dialogue in LotSB. Liara says if you cheat on her with Garrus "Yes, you came back! And now, Garrus is doing a lot more than just calibrating the Normandy's guns!".

 I kinda want it like in ME1 at the citadel lockdown you almost kiss your LI but then get interupted. I want a scene like that, a few scenes, building up the relationship then a love scene where he says "I love you" or something. Then at the ending we get to choose how we want the relationship to go depending on the LIs personality. I wish all the squad members had like 8-10 conversations or something then like an extra 5 romance conversations but that would be way too much to ask for.

Yes, If  Shepard gets killed at the end I would be very unhappy. I wouldn't get my happy ending and I would like the game significantly less. I want the game to be longer too. I wouldn't mind if It was 3 discs. So far the ME series is the best game series I ever played... but depending how the third one goes.. that will decide everything.
