Here is a video recorded view from Maya of the actual animation used for that .gif, that is if you want to see more of a 'behind the scenes' look at the animation.
Very cool. I dont mean to be rude, but have you ever considered making one for Tali?
The Tali fans would love it.

I think I have Tali extracted, but I need 3ds Max which I need to get the extracted model converted into a usable format for Maya, and since the re-build of my comp I haven't been able to 3ds Max to work. Plus it means a good 6-8 hours of model clean-up which I currently dont have time for as I'm working on other models for my portfolio.

I might do some Garrus art or something on my computer whenever I get it fixed. Again.
But, while I'm gone, here's a topic for discussion:
What do you want to see happen with Garrus in either the next few DLC released or in ME3? And I don't mean whether he's a squadmate/cameo/dialogue/more friendship dialogue. I mean plotwise, and things you want him to tell Shepard about--and while I know most of us are rabid Garrus romance fans, ideas not regarding Shepard/Garrus are especially welcome. He's gotta have a life outside of his love life, after all.

Why do you guys think Garrus' dad wasn't mentioned in the dossier at all? I have no idea, but I thought it was kind of interesting.
He didn't mention his dad in ME2, either. And considering he went all vigilante on Omega...
Anyone else have the feeling we're going to learn that Garrus's dad died in the attack on the Citadel?

After the Liar of the Shadow Broker I could see that kind of talk happening with his sister instead. I REALLY want to meet her!
Me too! We must meet Sol and the rest of his family, that would be great. One well mother, a emotional heart to heart with his father and his sister fancies a male Shep and is an LI

Hmmm...that is interesting! I never thought of that one. It could be very good story-wise to explain some of his behavior and stuff. However, I don't think I can stand the thought of his mom...well, you know, AND his dad dead. I mean, he may not have gotten along with the guy, but that's still his dad, you know?

I agree with everyone who said the moving Garrus avatar is awesome. The mandible flare is awesome.
About Garrus and Cerberus: I don't think he minds working with them. Of course he doesn't approve of everything they do, but he does agree with some of it, like keeping the Collector base. He's the only squadmate who doesn't completely disagree with it after the mission's over. He does let Shepard know that he's worried about him/her in that first conversation, but he understands that their help against the Reapers is useful.
As for Garrus and Zaeed's loyalty mission, he would have never caused the set-up that forces Shepard to choose. If the fire happened on its own, I'm not sure. When Garrus was talking about Saleon, he was ready to sacrifice lives on the Citadel to stop him. It might depend on whether Shepard encouraged him towards Paragon or Renegade. My Shepards choose Renegade, so I think he would be likely to go after Vido/Sidonis/whoever he was trying to kill. Again, he would never start the fire to make this happen - my answer is basically what Garrus would do if Shepard's choice in that mission was his to make.
Ideas for Garrus in ME3: I want all that information about his family (sister, mother, father) to come up somehow. Actually meeting them would be a nice bonus. It would have been nice to talk more about his time on Omega, talk with Shepard about losing teammates and all that, but it would have made the most sense in ME2. I'd still like to see that conversation happen though.

yeah I was surprised Garrus never asked how shepard dealt with losing members of her team (virmire) or shepard could have told him he was and is a great leader (if you remember, garrus was leading shepard during his recruitment) and there could have been a convo about how different he was 2 years ago. There was a lot of possible conversations that could have happened there but garrus just got 3 platonic ones and that's it. From what that dossier said about garrus, I predict that garrus's leadership potential will become a plot point, I just don't know what the context will be.

@Kim Shepard, I agree with that. I think shepard can understand best just how Garrus feels. i mean Shepard hasn't been betrayed, but being called a traitor by a close friend cuts just as deep. But in that sort of situation there's not much that can be said so silent support sometimes works best.
funny how characters emphsise Shepard's death like it was his/her fault:
Conrad Verner: " but then you DIED" he says that a good three times
Kaiden/Ashley does it too for the no contact thing. those are the three main ones off the top of my head
