A fem Turian LI goes a long way in itself but she have to back it up with a winning personality too of course. With Garrus setting the turian standard we might have a bit high expectations though.
Something like that fem turian Buggirl wrote a story about perhaps. But BioWare will leave more to the imagination than Buggirl did of course. Too much details about... things...isn't very marketable for the bigger audience.

Don't forget, this is BW in charge here.  They have a great track record for making fascinating characters with unique personas.  I wouldn't worry at all.

Yeah you are right about that. A very turianlike turian as a opposite from Garrus would be fun for a change. My very stiff paragon maleShep who does things by the book (he is still bro with Garrus of course) would love a turian like that.

I also vote female turian squadmate...although I have to wonder what class would be good. Don't turians have a very rare group of biotics. That would make an interesting twist.

That would be cool, to have a female turian LI interest who served in the cabals (is that right?), because from what I can remember from the codex, they are often looked down upon turian society.

Perhaps a by the book military police sent to investigate Shepards links to Cerberus. If you play a femShep or a maleShep who (for some strange reason) don't want her you can pair her with Garrus. If he can't have Shepard he deserves some other sweetheart.



But you know how games usualy are: Females are only allowed if they are pretty and you have to look like a human supermodel to be pretty. Yawn. So a female Turian LI might be too much to ask for.

Well my Import Femshep is going with Garrus over Kaidan, Horizon is bad and Garrus is right there. Works pretty well with my Sentinel, I have Jack as well so plennty of people seeing new heights as it were. Kelly never says anything about Garrus like she does with Thane to femshep right?

How do you get her to say that line though, that is a while back so It will have to be another save. So far Garrus and Jacob with my sentinel have been owning. Although he keeps stealing my kills when I line up a throw after Jacob does a lift, he keeps sniping them. Awsome but a little annoying constantly setting it up and then:

You just talk to her after you recruit Garrus. I talked to Garrus first, but I don't think it matters. Just as long as you do it right after you recruit him, otherwise it might get overriden by other stuff.

She'll actually store some of the dialogues, so even if you don't talk to her right away and do something else, you can normally still get the comment. It just gets backlogged. I think if you do a side quest (and not a recruitment or loyalty mission), she'll cycle through the conversations that are backlogged.

Epic Garrus moment I had the other night: It was the one of the N7 mission, the one where you have to shut down that Blue Suns base, with the two heavy YMIR mechs. Anyway, as a suicidal vanguard, I charged headlong into them. I got one down to its health, but I was on about 1/4 health with the veins going on my screen and all. Then out of nowhere, the mechs head comes off.



Cue Garrus: "NEVA SAW ME COMIN'!"

*reload sound*

"I love this rifle."

If Garrus is going to comment about everytime he shoots someone in the head in Mass Effect, I want him to at least scream out BOOM HEADSHOT at the top of his turian lungs.

For me, it would have to be if he ever intentionally becomes violent with my Shep. Like, when he shoves her arm away after she stops him from shooting Harkin. He doesn't hit her or hurt her then, BUT if he ever really went through with that kind of gesture (and he came disturbingly close during the Harkin scene), it would be a complete deal-breaker.

This.  And that includes the fanfic-scenarios where Garrus ends up pinning Shepard in place and it turns into seduction.  That's just as bad as him actually hitting her.  Just because he's hot-tempered doesn't mean he can't control that temper, and the moment that he loses that control is the moment that any Shepard I've got romancing Garrus ditches him.  Why?  Because that's the moment he ceases to be a friend and instead becomes a risk or liability.

That aside, I've just finished catching up on all the Cerberus Daily News from cerberusdailynews.com.  I get the feeling we will indeed be seeing more about Taetrus in the near future--probably in-game.  What, you people didn't notice that little hint?  "Future Content Network" or whatever as the news company of the reporter who was killed?  I see what you did there, Bioware.  I also noticed that little article about the news being Cerberus's means of giving orders.  And, sure enough, there is an article involving Donovan Hock, about the time I think Kasumi's DLC came out.  I know Overlord just came out, and I haven't played it yet even though I've bought it.  But that doesn't mean we won't get more DLC.  I strongly suspect that with all the focus on Taetrus, we'll be seeing some kind of turian DLC or expansion in the near future.  Or, it may be part of ME3.  I mean come on... "Future Content Network?"  Really?

Eh, there's stuff in fic that stays in fic. A lot of the times too, it's specific to the Shepard that's in said fics. I meant more if there was something in game that he does that would make things a deal breaker.



I would think if he ever countermanded my Shep's orders, THEN we'd have issues. But getting violent? Nah. Vanguard Shep is just itchin' for a fight. Renegade Shep also is pretty much in line with a lot of Garrus's thoughts and feelings too.

If he became this emo package that did nothing but talk about his feelings... then Shep might have issues.
