From what I've read of Liara's reaction, I think they handled the cheating well. A small confrontation with different dialogue depending on how Shepard answers, and then Shepard gets to pick one. It would be nice if they were all personalized like that. The only thing I wonder about is, if all of the "cheating" confrontations happen in DLC, what happens for people who don't have the DLC? Not that I particularly liked any of the ME1 romance options.
I only finished one playthrough so far and romanced Kaiden, then cheated on him so I didn't get the Liara dialogue myself, but I read about it and I love how Liara used the "calibration line". I think it should be like that but I think the ME2 LI should be able to say something about it too so they make you feel bad before you make your choice.
I never liked Kaiden and I don't know how the rest of the ME1 romances are. On my current playthrough I'm going to romance Liara but I heard she's really clingy.
Hm, maybe if they do release an Ashley/Kaiden DLC and there is a confrontation, they will still say something about it in ME3 still. But your right, how is that supposed to work? Well it might not matter that much with Liara since I doubt she's going to be a squadmate now that she's The Shadow Broker. And I don't really care if Ashley/Kaiden are squadmates I just want they're romances to conclude for the Shepards I make who will be loyal. All I really need for ME3 is Garrus to be a squadmate with a longer romance, more dialogue and some closure and I'll be happy

They choose not to get them. Each colony has different tattoos, so a turian wouldn't get the tattoos of a colony they didn't come from. I'm not sure if some places don't have them, or maybe they weren't born on a turian colony or the homeworld. The Citadel might not have them, and I've seen a lot of barefaced turians wandering around there. Maybe they just don't want to ally themselves with only one colony (politicians could have their reasons for that). We have no idea how old turians are when they get their tattoos either.General Ashous wrote...
I wonder, how do the 'faceless' turians not have tattoos? It makes me wonder whether they had them removed or did they just choose to not get them? Can anyone clear up my confusion?

To this day, most turians still wear the facial markings of their home colonies.
Since the Unification War, turians normally wear elaborate facial tattoos marking their colony of origin, though it is not known which markings distinguish which colony. These tattoos are usually white — particularly on turians with darker carapaces — but can be of various colours. Garrus Vakarian's markings, for example, are dark blue. As a point of interest, the turian term 'barefaced' refers to one who is beguiling or not to be
trusted.
So I think barefaced turians are ones that come from lines (as in family lines) that had no declared loyalty during the Unification War, and therefore took up no colony's symbol. Now, what I wonder is what happens when you have two parents from different colonies who have a child. Does the child choose which colony's markings they will bear? Or is it traced by paternity (therefore the child inherits the father's markings)? Or is it traced through the mother's family history?
So perhaps this is something where a barefaced turian could wed a tattooed partner and then the child could inherit the tattooed parent's markings?
Hmmm...something to ponder, I think. I hope this is brought up in ME3, though.

Anyone who thinks turians don't have expressions clearly hasn't watched their faces when they talk. Someone should post the "Happy Garrus Is Happy" pic if they haven't already. Their mandible and eyebrow movements show a lot of emotion. BioWare did a great job of that. They choose not to get them. I posted several videos showing turian expression already. I don't get the "dangerous" thing since having physical contact with tali is possibly dangerous for her too, in a way shepard is the "dangerous alien" in that relationship but just because he doesn't look "scary" it makes it ok *face palm*

@Hyrule_Gal: Yeah, a lot of the romance options are dangerous. What if Shepard licks Thane and hallucinates in the final battle that her teammates are Collectors and the Human Reaper is the Normandy? And in my opinion, Jack's Renegade romance scene looks the most "dangerous," but some MaleSheps like that sort of thing. No, wait... the only true dangerous romance option is Morinth. Besides, for FemSheps like mine who want to romance Saren, Kai Leng, TIM, Zaeed, and a krogan? Garrus is not dangerous.

It was either or and only one which would it be?
Also my Femsheps all plan on killing TIM for Akuze since all two are sole survivors, and the last one really dosent like him.
That being said my Pro-Cerberus Shep really wants to go and drinking with him.

I agree, more tattoo information in ME3 would be great. More turian information in general would be great. It doesn't even have to be in ME3. It could be in one of the books, or something. Just tell us. xD

I think a comic/graphic novel revolving around Garrus' time on Omega as Archangel would be an excellent opportunity to expand with information about turians. And Garrus. Yes. Yeeeeessss, this must happen BW! 83

Also, KIM capitalized like TIM. xD I've noticed the name similarities before.
@Eradyn: I'd like to see an Archangel comic too. If they're going to tell the story of Garrus and his team, that would be the best way to do it.

The list was already posted, but here's an extra link: http://masseffect.wi...urian_Insignias I found them all in-game, and it was interesting that one of the locations - Bostra - had a turian body there with the same colony tattoos as Nihlus. Sure, it was the exact same character model, but still cool the way it fits in with his history in the Wiki, "born in a small mercenary outpost outside Hierarchy space."Buggirl70 wrote...
