EDIT:  So I posted this in the Thane thread too.  You know how the DA devs described their characters as food?  Morrigan was bitter dark chocolate, Alistair was apricots and cream, Zev was "deceptively spicy salsa," etc.?  What do you think Garrus and the ME cast would be?

For some reason I'm stuck on the idea that Garrus would be latkes.  Tasty, substantive, with potential for sweet or sour.  Or maybe I just really really want latkes.

Seriously, though, the only character that comes close to Garrus in bro-hood is Wrex.  And damn, did they make an awesome team.  Let's hope they're both back in ME3, eh?

I love how they incorporated little things like that, even the companions speech changes according to who you take with you.

A 'dat voice' motivational is genius! There are enough 'dat ass' ones... Garrus, so dirty, and then he tries to convince Shepard it is accidental. Uh-huh,

I could think of a few...
Zaeed is steak, simple and old. 
Miranda and Jack are Twix chocolate bars. Hard on the outside, but quite soft when you get to know them.
Tali is toffee. Hardened but soft at the same time.
Grunt is rock candy. Hard inside and out.
Jacob is porridge. Boring lol.
Mordin is fish. Interesting and good for intelligence.
Kasumi is ramen. Japanese and hard to find.
Thane is a martini. classy and often associated with infiltrating.
Samara is swan. Regal. (Considering only Royalty can eat them by law)
Legion is ice cream. Cold, yet very awesome.

As for Garrus...

Poor Jacob.  He doesn't even get to be porridge with Nutella (yum, Nutella) since Hawke from DA2 has appropriated Nutella as a meme.

As for Garrus's voice...can you imagine how it would sound if you actually got some dirty talk from Garrus in ME3?  Even a porn-tastic one like "Heavy risk, but the PRIIIIIZE."  Imagine that in Jacob's voice.  Now imagine it in Garrus's voice.

Drive by support: Garrus is my Shepard's best friend. They have very similar views on justice and love for sniper rifles. I really hope he gets some more characterization in ME3, and that he returns in full.
