Me too I love the whole build up of the romance. Honestly I couldnt believe it the first time, I kept thinking are they really gonna let me do this? I couldn't wait to start a new game just for Garrus =)

Maybe Garrus asked Mordin for advice when he couldn't find what he needed on the extranet? (Can't you just imagine Garrus' horrified face after he does a search for "interspecies relations"?) Here's an awkward thought. Isn't EDI in the room with them? And TIM's hidden cameras? Poor TIM. I don't know if he would laugh or just... drink until the images are gone. xD

Something tells me that EDI doesn't send EVERYTHING back to TIM, funny as it is to imagine TIM sifting through footage of Grunt eating, Jacob doing sit-ups, or Zaeed crooning lovingly over Jessie 

And I'm pretty sure in my canon, it was Garrus who asked Mordin for advice.  My MainShep would never do such a thing--she's both amused and absolutely mortified when Mordin brings it up to her.

 As for the love triangle dialogue, I think the reason he takes it so well is that he wasn't ever really expecting Shep to be interested in him.  He plays it down and acts all cool because he probably thinks he's got much heftier competition (either Thane or Jacob) who are much more similar to Shep.  D'AWWWW.  SO PRECIOUS

@Sable I agree about the reaction. I think Jacob was more emotional over it because i think femshep really has to push for it to get Jacob to want to do it, and then she does a U-turn (if i remember properly).
But anyway Gar Gar Ooo la la I want your romance =D

I think my MainShep would have the same reaction if Mordin gave her advice about Saren, and a pile of videos about turians, biotics, and tech. o_o TIM's reaction would be far more hilarious if it was Saren though. He would drink, definitely drink.

It is adorable how Garrus thinks Shepard wouldn't choose him. Even if she isn't with anyone else. Apparently, he didn't notice that my FemShep likes turians, and talks to him more than anyone else on both Normandys.

@leonia: There's a concept art of turians without their armor. Or if you just want to know the basic shape of a turian without the bulky armor, any picture of them in casual outfits would show that well enough.

I have only posted once in this thread but would like to post more. I went through most of the thread, wow. I would like to finish the ME trilogy with Garrus tho, my main FemShep agrees 100% (heh, her LI) So hello. With my FemShep she always takes a certain 2 people, she switches Jack and Kasumi out but almost always takes Garrus. Hopefully BW will listen and put most the characters in ME3, including Garrus (it must be done)

No, there aren't any turian females in game sadly. But we here on the Garrus thread are hoping to get a turian female squaddie in ME3

Saren playing hide-and-seek. xD That's adorable. To me, it always looked half like he had a headache, and half like a turian facepalm. Those synthetics are implants from Sovereign, by the way.

Well, I know Saren was just trying to be threatening, but most of the effect is lost if you think he's adorable... MainShep, however, would not be so rational.

I think Saren gets more cool points than Loghain by far.  I'm sorry, I like Loghain a lot as a character, but as a villain I think he is failsauce.  In fact, the darkspawn and Archdemon were also failsauce as villains.  Villains are supposed to scare me, or at least earn my respect and make me feel threatened.  I was literally not scared of anything while wandering through DA:O, the occasional creepy Broodmother-esque portion notwithstanding.  Then again, I was also playing a very explode-y mage.

But seriously, Loghain should've been able to handle my relatively sheltered, inexperienced, 20 year old little mage.  He just has epic fail after epic fail.  Jon Irenicus is disappointed at subsequent BioWare villains.  He has a sad

I'd compare Loghain to Saren meta-wise--Well-Intentioned Extremist proxy villain who's actually on your side but making your life a lot harder against the actual evil horde of villains out to eat the world.

But character-wise?  Saren is at least competent versus an equally badass Shep.  Loghain is unable to handle one 20 year old kid running around Ferelden in broad daylight, thumbing her nose at him   I did like Loghain a LOT as a character, but he never felt like a worthwhile adversary.  My Warden rollerstomped all over him and merrily marched around Ferelden with virtually no consequence.

Yeah I can't imagine not having the option to have Garrus in my Squad. Everyone else would seem boring if he weren't there, Garrus +1 = More fun. Has been since ME1.

On a side note: I always felt some er tension watching that Saren and Benezia scene,probably just reading it way wrong lol

Don't shoot me, I was comparing the two scenes! Not the villains . Loghain's voice was cool, but he wasn't convincing enough for me. I could tell he would be a traitor when I first arrived at Ostagar. And his one love is MAPS?! Seriously?! Power crazy, yeah, but he loved his daughter, why kill her husband? Anyway, veering off topic. Loghain as a villain, he is alright, he has a cool villainy voice. But he is not the main villain of DA
When it comes to villains, you are right. Irenicus is scary. His voice, the dreams, everything he says and his portrait is chilling. Saren is a great villain, he presents that moral dilemna.
I wonder what Garrus would be like as a villain? Hmm....
