Why does everyone think the Garrus/Shepard cuddles look awkward? They looked fine to me... but Garrus also didn't hide from battle in my ME1 game either, and I haven't seen him run past the more powerful enemies in ME2. More like run directly at them, or take cover next to Shepard and then stand on top of cover like he's distracting them so she can fire off a few shots. xD

Hey, I just realized something, related to the interview from Saren's VA. He said that Sovereign was the first thing Saren believed in for a long time. So I'm thinking, if Shepard persuades Saren at the end and gets through to him, that means Shepard is the last thing Saren believes in before he dies? That'll make my MainShep happy, except for the part where Saren dies.
You may be right about that.
Awesome. I like being right, even more so when it involves an adorable revelation about Saren.

Garrus' father would hate my FemShep. He would hate MainShep too, despite the fact that she's not the one who romances Garrus. They both encourage him to be Renegade (all of my Shepards do, actually), one idolizes Saren and the other is in love with him. That's not likely to come up in conversation, but if it did, I don't think Garrus' father would approve of the Renegade interrupt punch he would get for insulting Saren... Now I wonder how Garrus would react - shock, disapproval, or "I've always wanted to do that"?

The sheer joy that erupted when we found out, through breaking into and sniffing around the leaked game files pre-release, that Garrus wasn't just a squadmate but a romance option...it was fantastic. That time made for one of the best "forum memories" for me...we were all in it together. ^^
This was my first forum memory. I didn't join up until later, but when I found the BioWare forums, I found the Garrus thread and saw everyone talking about youtube videos that prove he's a romance option in ME2. So I didn't have to go through any of the crazy speculation, or even the wait (I bought ME1 a few months before ME2's release) that I'll be around for with ME3. One thing will be the same though - I read all of the spoilers I could find for ME2, and I'll do the same for ME3. And DA2. At least I'll have a lot of BioWare games to play before ME3 comes out. It'll make the wait go by faster.

I dreamed that my boyfriend told me Kai Leng was in DA2 instead of ME3
Was he a romance option? I know, my first question should probably be, "Where did Kai learn time travel?" But it's not. xD

I have a question I'm stuck on for fic purposes.... Why doesn't Garrus like Miranda (or think she's a capable leader)? Why does he speak up if Jack is dead? He has said he has no problem with Cerberus itself, so... why does he seem to dislike Miranda?
I don't think it's a matter of not believing she's a capable leader. His reasons are that half of the squadmates don't even trust her. It's not a team of Cerberus agents or soldiers who will follow commands despite their opinion of the person in charge. I get the idea that Garrus was worried about what would happen if Miranda was made a team leader and those under her command didn't trust or respect her enough to follow her orders. Even if she makes good decisions, it won't help if the team doesn't listen to them. Garrus' team on Omega all seemed to trust and respect him, and the same goes for the teams Shepard leads in both games - he knows that works. Maybe he's even thinking about what happened with Sidonis as an example of how easily things can go wrong if just one person in Miranda's team does something they're not supposed to.
