I don't remember Kaidan calling Shepard beautiful (besides the one on the Citadel). Maybe in his romance, but AFAIK never if you don't romance him. Could be wrong though - either because I haven't played ME1 in a while or because I didn't choose certain options.

Ah yes "Kaidan" the supposed lead male from ME1, ah we plot hammered him and dismissed him till ME3.-BIOWARE MEMO

I should stop doing that but hey I found a new friend at work who plays ME by doing that.

Also his email is bad, both my sisters and my best friend who is a girl agrees. They did write Garrus' romance well since a lot of girls love those lines when I used it. BK is one smooth talker I guess.

I think Kaidan does, but not directly. He compares Shepard to his lost forgotten love on BAat.

No put my friend who was dressing up for the Stampede in Calgary, I said:

"Well that one gives you some good reach, and flexibility I guess" (She is bartending)

BTW my sister just played ME2 since she borrowed it from a friend, Garrus is so smooth that marks my Femshep, my sister, and her friend.

Me thinks that dearest Garrus knoweth the subtle art of ye old seduction, far more than he lets on.

I was fine with LT Killjoy (one of my Shepard's nicknames for him in one of my stories) apologizing in that email... at first. Basically, I was fine with the first sentence or two ("I shouldn't have said those things to you on Horizon"). By the second paragraph, I just thought it was the lamest "break up" letter ever. (Though I blame the same geniuses who gave us the Jacob romance and wonder why a lot of us women feel our skin crawl hearing it played out.) Sure, Garrus can be awkward in his romance scene, but does anyone see him writing such a crappy email to a woman?

Garrus doesn't need to write an email. :P

I kind of wished that there was a reply system in ME2, like Alpha Protocol, with various choices of email templates (paragon, neutral and renegade) to send back. Because I'll be definitely sending back the renegade email response. XD

That's the thing that kills me with BW. They can give us some great lines ("reach and flexibility", "lampost in winter", etc.) but then they come up with stuff like... *that* line from Jacob's romance that I don't have the stomach to quote (and I've been drinking).

Oh, I *SO* wanted a reply button when I saw Kaidan's message.  Being able to spam his inbox would've worked almost as well.  :P

Being able to refer to messages you receive about team members (especially Garrus) in conversations would've been great too.  "Hey, Garrus.  You can stop beating the hell out of yourself for your team's death now.  Please.  Or at least stop doing so many freaking calibrations and go have a beer."  I know Nahlah Butler says not to show him her message, but I often thought we should've been able to anyway.  It might have helped him.

YES! When I got that e-mail, I ran to Garrus to see if receiving the e-mail would trigger a new conversation. But nooooo... Calibrations had to be done. Even though maybe I wouldn't show him the e-mail, it would at least be nice to be able to talk about the Sidonis situation some more. Right now it's mostly a monologue from Garrus about how things went... and that's that.

Buzzing nicely now... wheeee! Ahem, right, back to Garrus and purring.

I don't *think* fanfic writers mean that he purrs like a cat per se. I think it's supposed to be more like rumbling from the chest that writers feel they can only describe as purring. I'm not sober enough to put together a good reason as to why. I think it has something to do with... wow, that last rum and Coke is hitting me like a fly meeting a windshield at 70 mph... uh, where was I? Oh, purring. Um, they probably feel that turians have their own system of nonverbal communication but try to put it in a way that fellow humans understand? I think that's what I'm trying to say.

Wow, the floor looks cozy right now.

Wow this place is full of drunk ladies it appears. I wish that Garrus would ask Shep about Kaidan though in ME2. I am not going back to that twerp of a Carth knock off after that email. Although knowing Bioware shep is going to look real bad for cheating most likely.

I work in health care in a state that only ranks in the top three for one thing: obesity. (Thankfully, I am not a part of that statistic.) If you need health care here for any reason, drive fast to Missouri. After 9 hours of dealing with my lazy ass co-workers (some of whom make me wonder how the hell they passed their nursing boards.  Actually, I wonder how the public high schools let them graduate), yeah, I need the alcohol.

Besides, Garrus brings us wine. We *should* be getting intoxicated for him! :)

Oh, eh, sorry. We haven't told you yet. Garrus fangirls are all alcoholics!

As for the 'cheating' thing... I don't see anything big happen to be honest.

When Jacob says to spill drinks after the mission, I'll just dump him (with everyone else) and the Normandy on the citadel and take the shuttle to go drinking on Omega with Garrus! Merc sniping is optional.

Dear Kaiden,

Too bad you couldn't join us on this suicide mission. Don't worry, I'll take real good care of her. I've done plenty of research. Just need to run her through her paces, make sure the firing algorithms are optimized.

Also, I'm not talking about the ship.

I like the alien romances better than the human ones by far in ME2. Tali and Garrus' are both very touching and show friends and love overcoming barriers. Thane's is just so sad, got a little speck of sentiment into me eyes there. Whoever wrote them deserves a raise, and wine of course.

BTW Mordin's little "um, .. Dont ingest <cough>" I never laughed so hard at a game before. Only topped by:

If I know grunt this answer is coming at muzzle velocity

HA you do know GRUNT!

I'm sober at the moment. The bottle shop doesn't open until 12. D:

And you can't drink in a library anyway.

I'll admit I'm not usually like this on a Tuesday, but it's been a mad day for me as well.  Yay for Garrus and merlot!
