D'aww, he sounds crabby.  Though I suppose I would be too.

On an unrelated note, I had a Garrus dream last night!  Nothing terribly exciting, just him and my FemShep being cute, but since I NEVER have video game dreams, that's a first ^_^

I had an ME realted dream last night as well, not the first by a long shot, but it was of Garrus and my newest FemShep, Lia. It was strange, but it gave me a fanfic idea. Now I just have to go type it...Posted ImagePosted Image Will post it here when it's done. I have like 2 chapters, maybe more, worth to type out today.

I had a Mass Effect related dream too. I was trying to find a store that actually sold the Evolution comics, and couldn't find one, so I knew I had to look up the Saren information on the forums, but the dream ended before I actually got any Saren information. This is what happens when Evolution will be released a week from now, and it took a few months for me to find Redemption...

There there, Kim.  You've got this sixth sense for Saren goodies, I'm sure you'll be fine :D

I know I can find out the basic information from the forums even if the stores don't have it, but I know most people aren't going to post Saren's dialogue word for word. I'm not even sure if posting pictures is allowed (it's definitely not allowed for magazines). Hopefully, I'll have better luck finding the comic in reality. xD

Yeah, have BioWare released any info at all about where you can buy the new comic? Because I'm interested in getting a copy so I can drool over the Illusive Man. :bandit:

Here's the information on how to buy the comic: Chris Priestly's posts

It's available digitally. So no worries, Kim, and Aeowyn...go easy on the drooling for the sake of your computer XD

@Sable: Unfortunately, I don't have any of those "digital reader" things. Does it give a list of everything I can download it on? It can be downloaded on the PC too?

It can also be downloaded via iTunes.

I don't use iTunes either. ): But I know the points can be bought in the form of gift cards, so maybe I'll figure something out. The only thing I ever download stuff on is a PSP. Is it even possible to get comics on that? It's a really small screen to read a comic on, but I'd still buy it anyway if there's no other option.

You know, it started with me thinking at around my 4th PT of ME2, "Hmm...TIM is actually quite hot."

It evolved into months of struggles ending with me wanting to have TIM's babies. Unfortunately, he's a video game character. But he has one of the sexiest evil smiles I have seen. I'm disturbing I know. Still, looking forward to know more about who he actually is.

As for comic book readers: http://comical.sourceforge.net/

And to keep this on topic.
Another thing Garrus and Shepard do when they're bored.

You can find the gift cards in pretty much every grocery store, convenience store, large retailer, etc.

Wow, I really hope Evolution is in stores. Just spent the last 20 minutes of technology fail trying to figure out downloads. >_<

Nice screenshot. So Garrus and Shepard beat up guys when they're bored? xD Well, it's Harkin, so it's understandable. MainShep enjoyed watching Garrus beat him up and shoot him. That's what people get for flirting with her when they're not Saren.

Kaidan: So I've been getting some mixed signals...
MainShep:  Lieutenant, are you the longest-serving turian Spectre in the Council's history?
Kaidan:  Uh...no, ma'am.  I'm not the guy who betrayed the Council...at least not last I checked.
MainShep: *RAEG*  Shut. Your. Pie. Hole.  *SHEPARD PUNCH*
Kaidan: *goes flying*
Garrus: That was a bit...extreme, Commander.
MainShep:  ...maybe.  Felt good, though.

You know, I could see her doing something like that if he insulted Saren. xD I imagine she gave the Shepard punch to that annoying reporter at some point between the Battle of the Citadel and her death for that reason. A Shepard biotic punch. Then she tried to go after the reporter again and the other Shepards had to hold her back.

*looks around*

So. I got this completely by accident. Was a bit too late to press the fraps button hence why the first parts are cut
off, but I remember someone asking about it earlier, so I decided to upload it to youtube. Enjoy.

Thanks Aeowyn, I was the one who asked for this.

My last dream with Garrus was about a week ago and he wasn't in it very much. I dreamt that I was back in school for some reason and I didn't want anyone to see me so I was crawling through these vents and I turn around and for some reason Garrus is crawling with me. But I had a dream about BioWare a few days ago; I dreamt that I was talking to someone from BioWare and he said that none of the squadmates are coming back and we are going to recruit a whole new team. He also said that Garrus will be killed in it. And then in the dream I ended up crying.

Shifting topic now (didn't want to double-post), I was wondering if Shepard ever really gets to tell Garrus in the game how she feels about him? He certainly tells her that she is the most important person in the galaxy and most of the romance-plot is more of a "let's blow off steam" plot and I really can't remember any dialogue choices that resulted in Shepard telling her favourite turian what she thinks of him (she gets to tell Liara in LotSB and Kelly Chambers, sort of). That's just been nagging at me lately, also, why is Garrus the only ME1 companion who doesn't get a hug in ME2? I mean, hell, even Wrex gets one.

Shepard doesn't get to tell him anything like that(hopefully we will in ME3)but she does stroke his scarred cheek in the romance scene and I think that is showing that Shep really does care for him. That's how I see it at least.

I got chapter two up faster then I expected. Here it is: A Life For A Life

@Evelinessa
I think your right. It does show that FemShep cares. However, a hug would be nice as well. That second dream better not be true, it better be off by alot! But the first dream....strange.

I also like how FemShep just looks at him after she strokes his cheek(I think that adds to it too) and yeah I really hope we can give Garrus a hug in ME3.

I'm really hoping it doesn't come true either. I really hope Garrus joins us again. I wonder how long we have to wait until we find out who's coming back. Does anyone(who was here before ME2 release)remember how long before ME2 was released did they tell us what squadmates are coming back and which ones arn't? That might give us a clue about how long we have to wait before we find out who's coming back this time.

Oh I remember that I brought up before that I heard somewhere that they were thinking about doing Palaven for ME3; Well the quote is here (I found this again because of Phaedon's thread ) but when I read it I did from another site(which I can't find right now). He also says something about the thing with Saren affecting the trilogy until the end.

So I was just going to recruit Jack in my recent playthrough and notced the Blue Sun Warden-dude of the Purgatory mentions being from Palaven but he clearly doesn't have the same facial markings as Garrus. I should have taken a screenshot of him.. hmm..

I had never seen that interview before. Thanks for posting it. :)

In the future, visiting a Turian homeworld is a definite possibility.

Saren was obviously a huge part of how the main story launched, and you can expect his shadow to cast across the trilogy in some form.

BioWare, you are awesome. :D

I'm probably totally wrong here but maybe there are different sections of Palaven that have different markings? Or maybe they just wanted to keep Garrus' markings unique...

@Kim

You're welcome :).

The Palaven Blue Suns guy from Purgatory... are you guys talking about Warden Kuril? He's barefaced. Don't know what that means for Palaven and the tattoo system, but him having no tattoos makes more sense than him having tattoos that look different from Garrus.

Anyone else think it's kind of funny that Saren and Kuril have the same voice, and both are barefaced?

He sort of has purple splotches just around where his fringe starts. Kind of hard to see though, at first I thought he as just a barefaced.

The Wiki doesn't have a good screenshot to see the fringe, but if there are tattoos there, they lied. xD

Warden Kuril is one of the few "barefaced" turians (turians without facial markings) seen in the Mass Effect universe.

As I understand it, Palaven is the name of the Turian homeworld which is home to the turian heirarchy. Before becoming a part of the council, the turians had branched out to several colonies on different worlds which eventually began to isolate themselves from the heirarchy and war amoungst eachother. The different colonies began decorating themselves with emblems to identify themselves as belonging to their respective colony.

During this war (later named the Unification War), the heirarchy more or less let the colonies "war themselves out" untill they were too weak to put up a fight before moving in, forcing the end of the wars and a renewed loyalty to the heirarchy.

Though peace was restored, it took several decades for animosity between colonists to fade completely. To this day, most turians still wear the facial markings of their home colonies.

*parts taken from ME Wiki and memory

So, in essence, just because two turians grew up in Palaven, they would not necessarily have the same markings, it would really depend on the colony their ancestors were from.

At least, that's what I'm led to believe.
