Lol you know when you meet some people in life and they lie about their ages just so you like them? Because they afraid that you will deny them. And then you find out that they are actually 5 years older or 5 years younger than you xD... (and tbh this happened to me not so long time ago to me) well

And that's one of the most important things about his character. He's very complex. Unfortunately, most PS3 players won't know that unless they've seen youtube videos or watched their friends play. ): He probably won't get a lot of PS3 fans until someone tells them the real story. I imagine fans of Wrex, Kaidan, and Ashley are disappointed about the same thing - that comic doesn't give you much reason to like the characters.

Evolution is set during the First Contact War on Shanxi. At some point, TIM and Saren will definitely meet. I'm hoping we'll get to find out more about Saren's brother too. There's a good chance he'll be killed in the comic.

The Sarendoctrination won't be easy. Most of the time, I just talk about him a lot... I rarely have to explain anything that isn't from Revelation because everyone's played the same game and watched the same scenes. Now they won't even know that Saren's not a typical "galactic domination" villain. But if I manage to describe him well enough (or link to the cast interviews, Saren's VA did a great job of that) and link to the right videos, they'll probably want to buy an Xbox.

Now I just had a horrible thought. The same company that made the PS3 comic is also working on Evolution. I really hope they don't mess up Saren's character. Although, if Saren is the captured turian, I liked his personality so far. You know, in the first five pages. And I'm not even sure it's him. Have to wait three more days, if I can find it on release date...

It might not be so bad, I know quite a few PS3 players who have ME1&2 on PC (myself included) so perhaps they won't be so clueless? *crossing fingers*

I actually didn't mind the "Redemption" comic series by Dark Horse. Is somebody else doing "Evolution"?

Dark Horse did all three comics. I thought Redemption was fine too, but then again, I'm not an expert on Liara's character (which seems to change a lot anyway). If they mess up Saren's character, I would notice. I still have high hopes for Evolution because I think the first few pages are awesome. I'm just a little worried about it after watching Genesis.

Nihlus was one of the coolest turians ever. I loved him and I always feel really really sad when I reach the point before the cutscene where he gets killed. And not even a mention.

Bah... Garrus seems an ugly hybrid between a dinosaur and a sayan in that comic... not that Tali and Wrex got better...

Saren already made a flying leap in the comic, assuming the captured turian was him. xD I think that fits him well enough though - he likes to intimidate people by getting real close, face-to-face. I guessed Saren might have been more of a sarcastic hotheaded kind of guy before his brother's death too. He's still very young, and already knows he's awesome. Now, Saren singing... while out-of-character, would be hilarious.

The comic doesn't mention Nihlus at all. And if I had watched it in place of playing ME1, I might have been confused about what Spectres are, why they made Shepard one, and what makes them so awesome and exclusive. I hadn't thought about Samara's comment. You're right, they won't know where that came from.

Garrus looks like a duck with spiky hair but he is more meaty in comics..and maybe I even like it abit his body is very humanish

And GOD that chapter was a beast.  Lunamax (my coauthor) and I looked up from the rewrites and edits and bout lost it.

I'm always self conscious about long  chapters, since in my head it's presumptuous to think people want to READ that much...but no one seemed to mind. 

They did, however, seem ready to throttle Teandra for the bar scene!  LOL.

Just watched the vid again. No side-fringe. I did however get a bit angry about the story they gave him.

Eh, wut? Funny, here I thought he had been assigned the case by Executor Pallin but hadn't managed to find any solid evidence. Not get involved my arse...

So I just read through that preview, and I just realized two things:

One, I agree that it is probably Saren, cause you would almost know those startlingly blue eyes ANYWHERE.  

Two: I'm going to have to actually BUY this comic and check for canon errors in my own work, since it addresses the Relay 314 Incedent.  

The things I do to keep "Tenebrea" within canon.  It's just shocking what I'm forced to do.    JK

Well, at least they didn't mess up Garrus' appearance enough to make him look like Saren's long-lost son or something. Even Saren looks different from one picture to another. And one of Evolution #4's covers gives him human eyes... but he just looked so awesome with that lightning-shooting thing.

They totally got Garrus' involvement in the Saren case wrong too. They also made it sound like Anderson chose to hand over the Normandy to Shepard and not chase Saren across the galaxy. No way that would happen. Not after Revelation. (Someone in the PS3 comic thread said it best. "Anderson's connection to Saren? What connection?" Genesis doesn't mention a connection.)

About Evolution, I hope that turian is Saren... if not, it must be his brother, but I saw a different turian who looked like it could be his brother (same fringe, different colors). As a Saren fan, I'd like to believe I would know his face anywhere. xD

That's the first thing I noticed too Kim. That and the leg spurs, he looks too human in body shape. There are a lot of things, not just Garrus related, that bother me about that comic.
