I was on break at work when I started crying in the breakroom. Really embarrassing.

I was on a train reading some of it on my laptop. A old woman actually asked me if everything was alright. She probably thought I'd just got some terrible news or something.

I lost a day or so of my life to that fic, all thanks to Luna.  She's sort of my filter half the time.  I'll get home from work and I'll hear, "There's this new fic you HAVE to go read."  That's how I found Persephone Rising (which I find freaking awesome, and a breath of fresh air.  It's like reading Mass Effect as written by David Weber.  And I REALLY need to get back over there and catch up.), and also how I get pointed to almost EVERY masskink fill I've ever read.  

I like to break tropes, and keep people guessing, so knowing what's going on in the fanbase is fun knowledge to have.  and some of these writers just keep inspiring me to keep going...

Which WHILE I'm thinking about it, to the person earlier who was looking for good Garrus/Femshep?  You have to try Trust Implicit by Aural Winter  (http://www.fanfictio...t_b_bImplicit_b).  This is one that features a sniper shep/Garrus combo.  Aural is my idol.

And for a freaking 'so funny you pee yourself' fic, try "A Trail a Mile Wide" (http://www.fanfictio...bMile_b_bWide_b) by Heuksal.  It isn't necessarily a ship fic, but you can see Garrus/Shep if you squint.  And I REALLY did almost pass out from blood loss to the face I was laughing so hard.  It even earned a mention on TVTropes.

@ Nuala:  I'm REALLY glad you're enjoying it.  That story is so 'buddy cop,' and was fun beyond all belief to write.

As far as I know, there are only three that involve actual handcuffs, and...

Anyways, back to the topic. A fairly good Garrus/FemShep fic (aside from Misty and Luna's work, of course) that I ran into was Mass Effect Unexpected Alliance. Hopefully that hasn't been mentioned already. It's a long read and really well written. However, I had to stop reading it because there is a serious love triangle going on between Garrus, FemShep and Thane. I dislike love triangles, but if you don't mind them then I suggest this work. Also, if you have the free time to read it because, like I said, long fic is long.
