I just looked over here and was surprised for the love of Garrus. Thought I was the only one. x3

I played Mass Effect 2 and romanced Garrus on my first playthrough. But I thought that I was a tiny minority, and I expected most people would have picked another LI. But I too, was pleasantly surprised at the amount of Garrus love. Welcome to the thread!
Edit: For top of the page.

Wait, it's been released now?

Edit: Looked on Dark Horse's website. Doesn't look like it's been released yet.

It hasn't? o_o But... it's the 19th, right? What's taking them so long? xD I want my Saren information now, Dark Horse.

@Tasha: No, not another Mako! Garrus looked adorable working on it, but I never liked driving it.

I loved soaring through the air off jaggedy mountains laughing crazily while Garrus and Wrex stared at me in horror. But everyone's different I guess.

My computer informs me that it is the 19th, did they specify the time? I still need to read Drew's books... Need money...

But I have a new idea, how about a new Mako for Valentines day? Garrus would just totally love that! Twice the calibrations, and the opportunity to be a terrified passenger while a manic Shepard has the steering wheel. Posted Image

Garrus no longer lets Meghan drive.

Ivy misses the Mako, Garrus doesn't. Go figure.

LOL, Garrus hates Meghan's driving so much, he raced her to the taxi in LotSB. ;) She beat him there.

You are in the minority Kim Posted Image.
I just love driving manically and then watching Garrus calibrate the Mako afterwards. Poor guy.
Perhaps this is why I still haven't passed my driving test after all these years... Posted Image

Since this is turian discussion as well, thought you'd be interested to know there is a female turian in Mass Effect: Evolution!

If I can get my scanner working, sure. They're missing the... spikey bit at the back of the head, quite unusual looking, I'm not sure what you would call that. The fringe?

Not that I know of. When you can get the books, read Revelation. It has Saren. :)

What? You have Evolution? I thought they didn't send them out yet? What happens? Is Saren or his brother there? Who was the captured turian?

So then Garrus was either lying or wasted when he said if Shepard was a lady turian he would be complimenting her fringe?

Or the more likely explanation: You frakked up, comics. Again.

I'd be more willing to belive that Dark Horse simply screwed up again.  *sigh*

Don't post the spoilers for Kim! She will have to read them so she can see Saren for herself! (You'll thank me later.) And you are a minority Posted Image that's what makes you Kim the Sarendoctrinator!
But I do like Saren, so I shall read revelation. Does Saren have his own thread?

Heh, yeah, that might be a bit of oversight or the artist took some liberties, who knows. I was uncertain it was a female at first, thought maybe a male took an injury to the head or something... but no, one human comments, "God, even the women look like him."

And for those of you who thought the captured turian in the preview was Saren, it isn't.

... ... ... No, seriously. If anyone has the comic, tell me what happens. Everyone who's being annoyed by constant "But I want to know about Saren! Why don't the stores have Evolution? Send it out already!" will be happier if I know.

This is true. :)

No, and I think that's because we all talk about him here. Even people who aren't Garrus thread regulars know to post their Saren questions here. xD

A General called Desolas. The female is called Lieutenant Abrudas.

The turian military seem to like purple and red!

Awesome. So now we know Saren isn't the only one who has fringe like that, he's just the only one in the game. Does Saren or his brother make an appearance in the comic yet?

Here's a question the bookstores want to know when I keep calling them up and asking for Evolution. Can you tell me the ISBN number? They say it'll help them find it.

Oh this has just been brewing over months of constant inconsistency from their part. This just took the prize. Turian females do have fringes, and if they cant even get that correct...well.

I couldn't POSSIBLY be sensing some residual anger from ME: Genesis, could I? :P

Honestly, you'd think a little fact-checking wouldn't be beyond the comics. There's a wiki. And a giant in-game codex. And a fanbase that cares tremendously about the lore despite the game being relatively young (compared to, say, the buckets of lore in Warhammer or Starcraft). F--ing use them. Story compression is one thing.  Getting things straight-up wrong is something else.

Well, I didn't like Genesis either. xD The amount of criticism I had for it is really unusual for something BioWare-related. There are normally some things I don't like, but it's not too major and I still think it's awesome overall. But Genesis... I repeat, PS3 players deserve better, and I'll have to tell them the true story about Saren if all they know about ME1 comes from Genesis.

I worry that they'll mess up Saren and TIM now, but I still hope for the best.
