Honestly, you'd think a little fact-checking wouldn't be beyond the comics. There's a wiki. And a giant in-game codex. And a fanbase that cares tremendously about the lore despite the game being relatively young (compared to, say, the buckets of lore in Warhammer or Starcraft). F--ing use them. Story compression is one thing.  Getting things straight-up wrong is something else.

Damn... I studied the character's design of the ME's people before starting drawing my sh!!ty fancomics... why Darkhorse, that should be a much more than decent comic publisher (and it is, I've read many other thing published by them) can find someone able to draw a turian that doesn't look like a sajan with a catface, a quarian not with the curves of Miranda (I've got nothing agains her, but Tali's proportions are completety different from the big boobs-big ass stereotype) and a krogan with scars on his face? Really, it was that hard? And I won't start about the story and the way of how ridicuolosly push up Liara as only valid LI... and I say so with the 95% of ME1's playtroughts with Liara as romance.

Well in that case, I hope that this female turian has a missing fringe for a reason! Maybe lije Mordin and his missing horn.
Hopefully, if her fringe is absent, when Garrus comments that they do have fringes, then she is not representative of all turians females, and that there was an accident where her fringe was cut off.
Please, dirty vagrant, say that that is the truth?

It's true though, Liara was shoved down your throat. And Garrus had a human body . But the interactive comic was a good idea, just not well implemented. Thank goodness I have a PC and a 360.

@Alienmorph: I'm pretty sure I've seen some pictures of your comic before. They're awesome.

@Aeowyn: I want to read Evolution though. I think I'm more annoyed that Evolution isn't out right now than I ever was about Genesis... probably because I can just say "well, I'll never have to play Genesis because I have ME1." If they do mess up Saren though, then I'll just pretend the comic never happened. I've done that before with movies/books based on each other that made everyone completely out of character.

Now, this got me to think about what MainShep's reaction would be if she couldn't have Saren information.

Nah, MainShep just dragged him there with her. Or he decided to go to prevent any possible chaos. The Paragon interrupt hug just stopped the Sarenpocalypse.

This is true. It was a lost cause from the start. I'll just dream of turian females with fringes.

And it's not only Garrus who comments on female turians and fringes.
Anybody recognize "What? They look just like turians. Look at the fringe!" Somehow I doubt he would say that about an asari if he was talking about male turians <_<

@ Kim, I'm not sure why I envisioned Saren as the salesman. Working in retail for too long I guess... He is very calm about the arrival of the reapers, but I think he just likes mainshep's hugs.

@ Alienmorph, I believe there was about three Liara pages and two Garrus/Tali segments each. Although Garrus was duel wielding on one, now that I would love to see!

If I'm not wrong they both got the introductive frame, another one aboard of the Normandy and the double wielding scene. Plus a futile asshot of Tali while she show the Saren's proofs to the Council or so.

True. And I am not happy. Wrex only gets a bit more frames because you have to decide whether to kill him or not. If you knew the awesomeness of Wrex, then you would make him live every time!



I wonder, if PS3 players can't play ME1, then will they be able to romance Garrus? Actually, I guess that recruiting Garrus is canon, so yeah they will.

But I imagine many PS3 players may not want to romance Garrus because they didn't get to know him in ME1. I feel the need to enlighten. Speaking of enlightenment, I targeted someone who was looking at ME2 in a gamestore this morning and told them to buy it. They did. There is my good deed for the day!

By the way, the female turian in the evolution comic has been confirmed to NOT HAVE BOOBS, I repeat, the female turian does NOT HAVE BOOBS. That combined with the lost grounds keeper dialogue about funny bumps means we're in the safe zone.

If Saren was the salesman, he'd be rich. MainShep would buy everything in his store. xD

Yeah, I made him pretty calm about it. Mostly because he needs to stay strong for battle, and partly because of a sarcastic "what else can they do to me?" mindset. And he does like MainShep's hugs. Even when he's too stubborn to admit it.

@Hyrule_Gal: You have Evolution too? Tell me everything about Saren and his brother, if they're involved yet.

I wouldn't sweat the lady Turian in Evolution, if you look closely in one frame of the ME2 comic Garrus was missing his facial tattoos and in another he was missing his visor (although that side of his face was away from the reader).

Dark Horse, I am dissapoint with your interpretation of Turians <_<.

I don't have evolution it was just posted somewhere that a female turian was shown, the person didn't mention the no fringe part though. Is she bald or something? Or is it that the fringe isn't as LONG as a male, so it just goes over the head and doesn't stick out?

That's right, he appears on one of the variant covers, in a burning Citadel council chamber scene interestingly enough. It might be possible he might appear but I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they don't show him, it'd be pretty lame if TIM was the one responsible for killing his brother, thus making him responsible for his hatred of humans. Surely the galaxy is not that small.
