You guys ever think Garrus uses his visor's ability to track biological signs to try and figure out FemShep?  Not in a creepy way or anything, just using less subjective markers of physical attraction so he doesn't put his foot in his mouth or something.

Now that you mention it, I wonder if that visor can tell him if Shepard's vital signs are off and she's having an allergic reaction. That's a good enough reason to wear it into a romance scene, in my opinion.

You mean the songs from his visor? For all we know, we might not even like them... xD

I like the Flux music though. When I played my FemShep through ME1, I spent quite a bit of time trying to position her near Garrus in Flux so it looked like they were dancing. The Flux music seemed to be an appropriate choice after that, almost like the game knew. I think of it as, "Garrus remembered the adorable awkward moment!"

Garrus dying isn't my concern. IT'S THE FREAKING SHUTTERS.

That one in the huge room always gives me trouble. Even on Casual.

(...Not that I wouldn't care if Garrus died :( )

He gets pretty antsy if you take too long, just did it on Insanity myself not too long ago.

Yeah, he starts sounding really worried.

ETA: Can anyone tell me the exact line Garrus says on the collector ship after TIM's betrayal?

I wonder if Garrus' scars continue down his neck. They probably won't be on his body because that armour is badass.

I'm a bit late to the conversation here, but here's a couple snapshots of Garrus's head model.

As you can see, the scars extend to the front right of his neck, next to the bandage, but thats about it.

Dat neck :3
Look at the freckles! XD  And the spine plates.  Any way you could post the other side and back of his head/neck view too? x3

Same thing happened to me...stupid shutters. That always kills me. Before that point, I'm fine. But, believe it or not the flame-thrower Vorcha around the corner doesn't kill me...any more. I have Kasumi use overload on him and he's a walking grenade! Lol. But, I leave my other squad member with Garrus and always take Kasumi with me because of Shadow Strike and all. I mainly leave Miranda with him. Or Jack if I have her by that point.
Insanity is tough, I played on Vanguard, Infiltrator  and now on Soldier. So far, so good. Point and shoot, easy enough!
Horizon is horrible! So is the Collector ship and almost everywhere else, lol.

But, good luck.Posted Image

However, the suicide mission is surprisingly easy when compared to Horizon. But Garrus makes it possible.

Can't believe the detail on faces in ME2, that they have freckles on the neck, Thane has them on his scalp and Samara on her cheeks. It's just so detailed! It's kinda cool how the neck seems softer than the plates that protect the head. Explains the protective collar.

Thanks again for posting these pics!!

I had no problem with him until I hit Insanity difficulty.  Then all of a sudden he becomes a f-ing murderer.  It was easier with my Infiltrator who just cloaked past him, but my poor Adept the first time around...GRR.

Ducking in to ask a quick question about Garrus. (I'm about to reinstall ME1 because I'm going to romance Garrus and wanted to play this character with him from start to end so the journey feels just as epic instead of just half-assing it with a default ME2 Shepard.) What exactly is the main difference between the paragon/renegage path with Garrus in ME1 and how it carries over to ME2? Just a couple of lines? (I only imported one game from ME1 into ME2 so I don't have other playthroughs to compare it to.) All I saw in the wiki was a vague mention of him either wanting to go back to C-Sec or pursue spectreship.

Pretty much Gilsa. He applies for Spectre candidacy in both paths, but in the paragon paths he returns to C-Sec while waiting for his application to go through.

Also during his LM in ME2 he's more the "killing is the best solution" kind of guy. If you renegaded him in the first game and then ask him if he thinks killing Sidonis will solve anything, he gets more surprised if he's renegade. If he's paragon he just says "I know you don't like this, but I'll pull the trigger and live with my decision." or something similar. But yeah, that's about it.

Excellent, thank you. Phew, no hidden "hardening" system to throw me for a loop and make me weep after 40 hours of gameplay wasted! =p

No, Garrus isn't the bastard son of the King of Palaven and will not be forced to take his place on the throne and then dump you because you're human, and he's expected to marry a nice turian woman and make lots of babies with her.

I thought Garrus' recruitment was one of the hardest missions. Maybe that's because it was my first major mission and I was still trying to learn the combat system, but at least Garrus never died. Shepard died... a lot. Good thing us players have a mini-Lazarus called the restart button, or TIM might have been angry when I got Shepard killed off right after she woke up because I couldn't figureout how to reload her gun (or why it needed to be reloaded). xD I've only played on Insanity a couple of times. I only last a few minutes, but sometimes I manage to kill off a group of enemies, maybe two.

He also says "I learned from the best" if you Renegade him, and I thought that was adorable. :D

I never heard that line if you Paragon him. I like it. It almost makes me want to try the Paragon route once, at least in ME1. Almost. I can't imagine one of my Shepards not wanting to kill Saleon and Sidonis.
