I have no doubt Garrus will be in ME3 (provided you didn't kill him) since the default ME2 option is that you recruited him. Plus, all the love he gets from both the men and women helps too. His personal story however, well I have no idea what they're going to do. I have a few thoughts on how they MIGHT end Garrus's story arc.
- He will officially become either renegade or paragon depending on what you did the past two games, something tells me only your ME2 influence will decide how he finally acts during the third game but I would like your choice in ME1 to be mentioned at least (dr heart)
-Garrus and leadership will be have something to do with it. LotSB hinted at that possibility by saying Garrus can't reach his full potential under shepard. It makes me think that this will become an issue down the road or that Garrus will do something really amazing. It might mean he's going to disagree and stand up to shepard in some form, eventually become a spectre or have another chance to shine again as a leader.
-I definately see shepard and Garrus becoming even closer friends in the third act, I can't wait for the funny banter and talks about the "old days" hopefully garrus will talk more about the events during ME1 this time, nostalgia is nice.
-Garrus will have scars but his armor will finally be fixed and that bandage will hopefully not be there anymore.
- I think there will be at least one calibrations joke but I think this time around Boiware will make sure Garrus has more to say .
-depending on how it "ends" (I'm really hoping the endings won't be as horrible as DA) I would like to think Garrus would still remain with Shepard because she's his best (and only true) friend and I don't think he could imagine being anywhere else. However, I'm open to different possible endings with him since the creators said they can go crazy with the outcomes now that this is the final game.
-Finally the romance, this has me stumped because I honestly don't know what they have planned. I'm sure it will continue to be funny and sweet though.

I'd like to know more about his period as Archangel, and how he's survived to the Normandy's destruction, and most of everything else I wanna some bro-comments about MaleShep's relation, especially if the LI i someone that's friend of Garrus too, like Liara or Tali.

THIS too!
I also REALLY wanted to know how Garrus reacted to Shepard's death. I'm hoping it will come up in the romance at some point, especially if they're throwing themselves into hell for the good of the galaxy once more. Even if Garrus doesn't tell you himself , it would be interesting to hear it from the perspective of someone who saw Garrus receiving the news.
"Poor guy, he was always a bit of a recluse but you could tell something changed in him that day. Next thing you know, he drops out of C-sec for good, I think he was even going to apply for spectre training, but he walked away from that too. I’d never seen him like that before,
(platonic) He must have respected that Shepard a great deal.
(romance)That Shepard must have meant a lot to him.”

I had the impression he wasn't there as well. Because he never really says that he was.Aeowyn wrote...
I think he survived the Normandy's destruction because he wasn't there. My theory at least. Either he was back at C-Sec while waiting for his Spectre application to go through, or he was....killing bad guys while waiting for his Spectre application to go through? lol

No, I'm quite sure that he was aboard. Jacob at the beginning of ME2 says that "the non-human crew, INCLUDED the asari and the quarian survived". Included. So there was at least another non-human on the SR1, and I'm almost sure that wasn't Wrex 'because on Thuchanka asks you of the Normandy like he ignored what exactly happened, that off course would have been pretty obvious if he was on the ship during the attack. So it seems that Garrus was on the Normandy.

Ooo, I like this idea. You do get an impression in the game that Shep really changes people, like a catalyst. You can see it in Wrex, Garrus, and Liara's actions after Shep dies.
I think the only character who actually TALKS about how much Shep means to her is Tali, in her logs on Haestrom. It'd be nice to see something like that for Garrus.

No Alien. He says "The non-alliance crew: the asari Liara and the quarian." There's no "included" there
Sigh, stupid non-literal translations

man u garrus fans r lucky. i dont think liz sroka has ever acknowledged tali's fans.
I don't think she's as into ME2 as a whole as Brandon Keener is. Not all VAs get involved that heavily in their projects, and a lot never see the finished product or play the game.
Of course, this makes a VA like Fred Tatasciore (Saren) AWESOME for loving the game and actually playing it. But he also voices Zeratul, and that makes him awesome by default.

I brought up what Phaedon mentioned earlier, I like to think that it means Garrus is likely to be in ME3. But I am not sure if the VA's have been recorded yet. So would Brandon Keener know? It is a little vague at this early stage. I'm sure all the squad from ME2 will have more story to be told.
And yeah, we discussed whether or not Garrus was on the Normandy when it blew up recently. I was under the impression that he was at first, but like Aeowyn said, it looks like only Liara and Tali were. Garrus did go to C-sec/apply for spectre training after all.

Makes sense that he gets a look at the script and sign an NDA already, anyway. However, it is very likely that some of the VA has started already.Tasha vas Nar Rayya wrote...

I think most of the crew aims faster than I do, so they steal kills a lot. I only get annoyed at them if they blow up the explosive crates though. Those are mine. xD And their timing is horrible.pumpkinpirate wrote...
It would be a close call, those two always take my kills just as I'm about to scream HEADSH-aaa, wtf Garrus! Me before you! Me Shepard, you crew, those are my kills. I always save face and say it was the awesome position I put him in and it counts as mine. If I lie to anyone, might as well be myself. There's something enticing about video game characters playing video games.
I've tried to think about what Garrus was doing too. I always Renegade him, so he's not back at C-Sec. It's hard to imagine he would just take time off. Maybe he decided to help rebuild? Certain parts of the Citadel were really messed up after Sovereign's attack, and Garrus seems like the kind of guy who might help look for survivors.Aeowyn wrote...

I agree, he's awesome. I didn't pay much attention to the VAs until those Mass Effect cast interviews came out, but it's nice to see that the guy who plays my favorite character knows him so well. I wonder if he's reading Evolution? He probably read Revelation.Sable Rhapsody wrote...

Are you talking about Evolution or the four-volumes-in-one version of Redemption? Because Evolution #1 was less than $5 (not sure how much it costs outside the USA though). I think it was 32 pages. Evolution #2 comes out next Wednesday, so I'm waiting kind of impatiently for it. I've seen the preview and know it has Saren.magenator wrote...
I wanted to read the mass effect comic but they were sold out /sadface. They're also quite expensive... $25 dollars or so. How many pages long are they?
