The four-in-one version of Redemption, for some reason, is labelled as volume one and has the same cover as volume one. That's the same one I have, and it confused me at first too. The only way I knew for sure that it had all four volumes was the ending (giving Shepard's body to Cerberus). xD

Redemption was good, but I like Evolution much more. I'm kind of biased though because it includes Saren, his brother, TIM, the First Contact War, and the possibility of more Reaper information, which is basically everything I wanted to know.

I still didn't read Evolution... I was a bit worried of all the retcon they did about TIM, Saren and reapers, but from what I've heard until now everything it's coming out pretty good...

Saren has only been in a preview for Evolution #2 so far, but his brother is so much like him that I'm pretty confident they won't mess up his character. The only thing I didn't like about Evolution was the appearance they chose for female turians, and unfortunately, there's more discussion about that than the rest of the comic.

I was worried that most of the complaints came from that thing, plus the artisti doesn't seem able to draw a person with the same face two times, from what I saw, but I'll wait befor putting down the comic's story.

I think a lot of that is just drawing style. Sometimes they don't look perfect, but I won't complain because Saren and his brother look great in every picture I've seen of them. xD

Yeah, I was lucky enough to find Evolution on release date - got the last one, too. A comic shop had it, but none of the regular book stores. I'm just glad I know where to get them now. The main thing I worried about was not being able to find them.

If anyone wants to know what happened, I collected the most important (and turian-related) information into one long post with a big spoiler warning, and I'll be doing the same thing with volume 2 unless someone else gets around to it first.

By the way Kim, I bought the Redemption comic (the one where you get it all in one.) And the guy threw in series one of ascension for me too. I have read redemption, and I really enjoyed it. Also, is it Saren's brother on the front cover of Ascension?
And finally, I heard someone suggest that the sniper was Garrus? It is a long shot, but I heard someone say that the sniper was from Cerberus. Although Miranda and her cronies turn up soon after, it never says that the sniper was with Cerberus. Just inferred. So you never know. Far fetched, I know, but Garrus is a mean sniper and he may have been on Omega during that time

You should be buying all your books/comics overseas and importing them.. if you use Book Depository there is free shipping from the UK. That's how I've been getting all my books/comics. There are also lots of other overseas comic places that can get you some good deals. I've yet ot pay Aussie prices for any of my stuff so far, it's just not worth it to buy things local.

Can't wait for Evolution #2!

I haven't tried for a love triangle yet in any of my play throughs so far but I did try the letting down Garrus before the SM dialog option for the first time. Damn, that was just heartbreaking.

I think Feron says that the sniper is from Cerberus. At least that's what it says in the Wiki. If the sniper was Garrus, wouldn't he be a little curious to why sweet, innocent Liara is on a crap-hole like Omega?

XD I adore the Phoenix Wright Council one. I can't decide which NPC turian I love more, the one on the council or that poor friend zoned turian on Illium.
