Garrus is the only one who says that. He's the only one who knows, because he was living on Omega for a while. His worried voice is adorable, but I still wonder why he wasn't paying attention to warn Shepard before he/she ordered the drink, or why he hadn't killed that batarian when he found out the guy was poisoning humans. o_o

I'm guessing that the "Archangel" tended to stay out of the Afterlife and away from messing with Aria's "people".

But I agree that it would have been BA if he'd killed the dude for poisoning Shepard!

I just imagined a moment where Shepard is about to shoot the bartender, but Garrus shoots him first. Kind of like his kill-stealing during combat, only in a cutscene. Then my FemShep just smiles at him and shakes her head. xD

Which reminds me of a scene from Overlord. If you're not fast enough to trigger the renegade interrupt, someone decides to take your kill...

I love mass effect because I always find out something new! I'm gonna let garrus take that shot in my next playthrough. I'm also going to make sure he's the one that rolls into Shepard when they jump off that giant disk (another thing I found out). I see it as making up for lack of romance content, if garrus is the one catching, rolling into, stealing shots from, and running after (overlord door scene) my shepard it makes it look like theres a relationship going on during the game.

That was awesome! Shepard looked totally surprised by it too. xD In all of the youtube videos I've watched, Shepard always takes the interrupt, so I've never seen that before.

I do the same thing, especially catching/being caught by Garrus in the suicide mission and taking him on every mission so he's the one making comments to Shepard all the time.

That's what I end up doing as well. My FemShep that romanced him takes him everywhere.

I always take the interrupt. Okay, next Overlord playthrough, no interrupt.

Note to self - if I ever get to play Overlord, my FemShep who romances Garrus will not take the interrupt. She will stand there, not paying attention to the mech, and be both surprised and amused when Garrus shoots it. MainShep will take the interrupt. Her man (Saren) isn't in ME2, and that makes her angry enough to shoot mechs, blow up krogan warlords in fiery explosions, and kick mercs through windows. (Who am I kidding? She's always been like that. xD)

Overlord would have been awesome if your squadmates weren't all ( =I ) the entire time. Same goes with LotSB, which was still pretty awesome but would have been better.

yeah I thought there would have been at least one line of dialogue from garrus and tali for Liara since they didn't say anything to her when you first meet her on Ilium. Are Garrus and Tali chopped space liver? At least there was SOME interaction with wrex if you bring Grunt to him "Can't we just take him to Omega and buy him a couple of dances?" I was so surprised the gang never say anything at all around Liara.

Well, LotSB actually has Overlord beat there. The squadmates have one line and the Shadow Broker acnoledges who you bring.

Still, It would have been awesome to hear Garrus going "DO YOU EVEN KNOW HOW TO DRIVE THIS THING?!" before Azure, haha.

Actually, everyone has a line there, not just Garrus and Tali. If I remember right, Wrex ignores them too? The only person who acknowledges Garrus (and Tali too, if you modded the game to recruit her early) is Kaidan/Ashley on Horizon when they say, "You're with Cerberus? Garrus/Tali too?"

I know everyone has a line during that part so it does make it less special *sad face* I'm just saying at least they say something in front of wrex , but yeah both Wrex and Liara should have had some extra lines for the old squaddies.

Garrus makes a comment in ME1 if Shepard runs over some wildlife with the Mako, something like, "I guess they deserved it." He sounds a bit... concerned. Wrex, on the other hand, seems to enjoy crazy driving. Does that count? xD

In LotSB at least a short "Shepard are you ok" would have been nice, after Shepard jumped/fell out of the window together with the other spectre. They do look concerned but say nothing



And this scene with the poisoned drink is just to strange - I can't belive Garrus would "forget" something like this and not warn Shep about the poison. He could have at least grab the bartender and make sure that he serves a normal drink without poison. But this would have only fit to Garrus and maybe Thane/Miranda (they spend some time on Omega too) and not to the other squadmates so that seems the reason they did not implement that (or they didn't thought about that).



I wonder if Shep would have survived that before the "revival" - I would really like to know the extend of the "some new bits and pieces" and how much of Shep is still "normal human" and not Cyborg like...

I am sooo buying overlord. Thanks for that Leonia! I think even my renegon mainshep won't take that interrupt now!

And I didn't know about the running over wildlife line? I have a 'green' Shepard? But I will try it now.

And yeah, Elianterial, in the Lazarus cutscene, something is put in her heart and her spine I think? Plus the facial cybernetics.

It would have been nice if Garrus shot the batarian bartender, but it's still cool that only he has the line about warning Shepard.

And some more interation between ME1 squaddies would be awesome. That's something that annoyed me about the LotSB, but I understand that they wouldn't have been able to get all the VA's in for it.

Yeah, I wonder just how much of Shepard has been rebuilt from cybernetics alone. It's probably less than the amount Saren had, but still enough to have a glow under her skin if the scarring gets worse. Just like husks... the husks in Evolution... o_o *just realized this now*

My horrible Mako-driving skills have come in handy - they provide us with extra Garrus lines. xD

Speaking of the Mako.. one of the planets in ME1 has a false signal that turns into a geth ambush attack. Garrus gets two Star Wars lines during that little encounter, not sure if he is the only one that says the lines but they are:

"I have a bad feeling about this.."

and

"It's a trap!"

Makes me giggle, as I am quite a big SW fan

Glad I could inspire some of you to play Overlord, it's one of my favourite DLCs (mostly due to the well-executed emotional scenes, gotta give mad props to Bioware for that).

Has anyone perhaps made a mod/recolor for Garrus' weird looking Green and yellow casual wear when he comes to visit Shepard in the Captain's quarters?
It would make the romance a 5x more nice if he was wearing a color scheme that actually worked on him. There are so many other random Turians on the citadel for example, who are better dressed than him in casual wear.

...What? Where in the world do you see yellow and green? It's blue and black by default...

Hoestly? Garrus' armour looks awesome, and I think he looks better in that than in casual wear. Of course, I can understand why he didn't go to Shepard's quarters to relieve some stress in full armour. But it suits him better, maybe I'm just more used to it. Also, I like that it is damaged too, makes it look cooler, but I know a lot of people think it should get fixed...

You can hug Liara (by force...), Tali, kaidan, ashley and bro hug wrex...but my poor shepard didn't get any garrus hugs. Garrus Hugs for ME3! That reminds me, I need to add this to my "for ME3!" list

2. No bandage for ME3!
3.Fixed armor for ME3!
4. NO CALIBRATIONS for ME3!
5.Garrus hugs for ME3!
