On the topic of sad and regretful things...the Garrus action figure has been canceled. You cannot imagine how disappointed that makes me.

Notentirely sure of the reason, just that DC-Direct apparently did some very unprofessional things and it's pissed BW off.  It's pissed me off, too.  I had a couple of those babies preordered. Dx

I didn't like Garrus at first because after Nihlus died he seemed like a consolation prize. I didn't even go to the clinic to recruit him u_u. I changed my mind later =D

It's sad to hear about the action figures. This is why I don't pre-order. If I remember right, their original release date was sometime in September. It's nice that BioWare is doing something about this though, and I hope they find a new company to make the rest of the action figures instead of just not making more. I was going to buy the first four anyway, but Garrus is the one I wanted most.

How did you guys feel about that "I'd never thought I'd find peace in the arms of a turian but.." line? Up untill then I could role play a Shepard that would happily date a turian, so romancing Garrus wouldn't be a shock to her at all. I would have much preferred "I found peace with him" or something similar.

I don't even have LotSB, and this line annoys me. Still, I just remind myself that it wouldn't be a problem even if I had the DLC because my FemShep who romances Garrus wouldn't invite Liara up to her room anyway.

There are some romanceable characters that, no matter how cruel you are to them, will still love Shepard no matter what. Believe me, my MaleShep was not kind to Liara, and she still wanted him. xD For Garrus to not romance Shepard if she never recruited him in ME1 is more realistic.

Yes, Nihlus' eyes are bright green. You should really watch some videos of him (and Saren) on youtube. Look up Lorik too. Is there a video of that guard who wants a donut? There were so many awesome turians in ME1!

I thought turians looked awesome the first time I saw one. Then Nihlus did that mandible twitch, and I thought they were adorable. xD By the time Garrus came along, I was happy to have a turian on the team.

I can just imagine what would have happened if my MainShep and her clone (who later romances Garrus) were in the same game though...

I just got the first two issues of Evolution. I went to the comic book store and they had a sign saying that J. Miller, one of the writers, is going to be there tomorrow. Missed it by that much.

Anyway, they're awesome. I like how it expands on Saren more, even though we know what happens to him by the end of ME1. I just wish the issues were longer. It only takes like 10 minutes to read through, and then you're left with a cliffhanger for the next one.

I loved the romance even more when I found out that Garrus needed to have had a history with shepard beforehand. It's very unique for that reason. I happily wait for all the lovey doveyness in ME3 since we only saw the beginning of it at the end of the game  (and it was beautiful!). What I'd like more than anything is for shepard to eventually  tell garrus how she cares or loves him instead of Garrus being the only one to do it. That was a big gripe for me during the last romance scene in ME2 since I had to choose between"shut up" and "you're talking too much", when really I wanted my shepard to say something sweet to him. I hope this will be redeemed in the next game so that Shepard will open up to him as well. I think someone said before that she says something emotional and sweet about Garrus to LIARA rather than to Garrus himself which was a shame.

As to the subject of t-shirts, the Mass Effect 2 Facebook page posted pictures of shirts that Bioware was proposing. Two are a Reach and Flexibility shirts, one for women that says "He had the reach, I had the flexibility" and on for men that says "I had the reach, she had the flexibility."

i would like one with Garrus on it though.
