If her next conversation is the "it might be best to wait" one, then that's what happened to MaleShep - no way out, and reloading to just not talk to her didn't stop it. At least by going back, I get to fix a few things in that playthrough, so it's for the best. I'm glad I don't have to replay Feros though... all of the mistakes were after that. I thought I would have to go back to my earliest save for a while, the one right before the Saren growling scene. xD Yeah, I kept that save because it's awesome.kglaser wrote...

Yep, I might be in the same boat...Liara is still calling me "Shepard"
I'm gonna finish Noveria, and talk to her again, and see if there's any way out...if not, I think I will have to start the game over, since I don't believe I have an appropriate save. However, I can't say I'm incredibly angry about it...I get to see Nihlus again, I get to meet Officer Vakarian for the first time again...and I can get the funny line from Liara where she thinks you're a hallucination. I won't complain too much.

I have a whole playlist, how can I just pick one?
Hmm well I guess I listen to this one the most,
And the there's also the Power of Love one in there which, when I first heard it, I thought it was an inside joke made by someone on these forums. Anybody else remember the Power of Garrus?

Turians are naturally stronger than humans. It's certainly possible. Especially w/ Garrus' armor. That would have to hurt.
Then again Kaidain super kicked a turian and shattered his spine. I cant imagine a brawl but there shall be words.
Also DA2 is being BROIFIED so great day all around. huh-freakin-za.

We will have to wait and see, in my current mood I can at best see an angry email over it and a different powerpoint slide at the end. God I hate EA.

I don't see it happening either. Dunno about Liara though.

Hmm, good point. I think that I build that perception up in myself because of feeling such strong identification with the Shep x Garrus romance, as far as there having been a pre-existing bond there (ME1). There is a sense of the haste of Garrus' Sidonis conflict then his not talking about it again- this seemed more abrupt than the romantic transition. I think that is where the transition from friends to other could have been explored; being together in such a difficult situation could bring them that much closer. Garrus would have talked about Sidonis more given time-- and I wanted them to talk more; when the conversation shifted to sparring, I was surprised then delighted... and wish that they talked more later about Sidonis or Garrus' perceptions of that. However, much conversation about matters outside romance seem to dwindle after the 'locked-in' romance phase with all LIs in general.
I haven't played through romancing the ME2 characters yet, but I plan to make another character that will. At first I thought Garrus would be the natural choice considering the fact that there was already a friendship and trust there. But I watched on YouTube how the "romance" goes, and I agree with some of those above that in comparison to ME1, it seems forced/abrupt. Its comes off as more "working off some tension" than having deep emotions involved.
I also was a bit disappointed after Horizon. I was hoping that perhaps Garrus, being a friend would offer my femShep some consolation/comforting after her encounter with her former love. But he had nothing whatsoever to say.
ROMANCE: Garrus' response to Kaidan on Horizon was the best, that he stands up for Shepard. Taken minute for minute, there may be less actual time for Garrus in-game, yet what is said and done in that time is worth it. Yes, I want more and think that there are missed opportunities, as I mentioned above. Nevertheless, heir romance stands as my favourite thus far, with Kaidan's in second place. Probably a tie between Thane and Liara, as he is dying and she is fine but not stellar. I didn't have a problem with Liara moving too fast, for I chose Kaidan the first time then flirted with both the second time until the 'Can't I have you both?' scene-
:wizard:Dreamworld DLC: bridging the gap between Sidonis and the romance initiation, and talking more about the Omega interval for Garrus (although what's there was well-done).Nilfalasiel wrote...I also think that the shift from Sidonis to flirting in ME2 was too abrupt. It's kind of like..."Shep, really? He just shot/almost shot a guy in cold blood, and that's all you're gonna say?"

According to the Wiki, you need 6 points in Charm for Burns and 10 points for Toombs. When you say that you have Charm AND Intimidate almost maxed out...do you mean that they're almost maxed out for your level? Because I find it a little hard to believe that they'd be almost maxed out on a new Shep that early in the game (especially if it's both).
Well, I'm at level 25 with almost all the points possible for Charm and Intimidate.

What an excellent topic idea!
What is your ideal (dream) Garrus-related DLC?

Haha, I always lol at that line. It's a good thing I don't drink coffee.
@kglaser: I only know sober, tipsy, and drunk. But you have a walker, so that's cheating.

He popped the heat sink and what... nothing. I miss the ME1 ability to actually talk after the scene.
We could have both putting the last pieces of their armour on and something. But no 5 minutes of conversation and a wall of combat is all we get in 2.

But now after post-suicide mission... Garrus can't help talk about how he's eager, which begs the question, "did they even do anything in the two hours?"

I have a feeling that that will be more so after ME3, when what's done is done, and there is no more to be had (setting aside DLC/expansions). For that reason, as eager as I am for ME3, I don't want to rush it for myself- or on their part.kglaser wrote...

I got the "I haven't forgotten what we talked about" comment from Garrus.I know it's a repeat of an earlier conversation (I think the one that happens if you finished all of his conversations?), but it works so well. It would be nice to think they talked about something. For some reason, not everyone got that line from him after the end game...
I think you get that when you don't initiate the conversation after the 'popping the heat sink' one. I got that once and I think it suited the conversation better too.

True dat!
I've been forum absent for about a week, so I'm otherwise lost, but just so Cerrydd knows: I just jigged a jig to 'Rare Old Mountina Dew', and thought of you guys!
Carry on!
