Speaking of fan-art, I found this on devianart. Talk about badass female turian.

On a completely different, but still turian related note, drew this a bit ago on a whim:
Wow, if I could draw that well on a whim, I would have a ton of Saren pictures. Did I mention he's my favorite?

Yeah that's what you get mage.
I can never play full renegade. My main is renegon and then I only chose the renegade options I feel suit my pragmatic Shepard. Nothing mean or anything like that. Samara wants to kill me though lol.
Edit: For Kim
That is so epic!
Still want him to pay for what he did to Grayson.

Speaking of TIM...
Imagine TIM's reaction when Garrus delivers this line to him.

Can it wait for a bit? I'm in the middle of some calibrations.

But there is no comeback that can match the calibrations line.

I heard his romance is quite renegade based.

It's not "renegade" to romance him. It doesn't increase either side's points. The choices to keep the romance going are IN the renegade/neutral spots, though.
That's what i meant.
I suppose id keep on neutral then.
Does paragon in the loyalty mission effect it?

Garrus was designed to be the model of a 'compassionate renegade.' So any Shepard goes.
Go for it Biotic Warlock!

I think Garrus is unique in that you can be a paragon, a renegade, or in between, and yet Shepard will still suit Garrus. My mainshep is a renegon, but I also have a paragon for him, and I know others who say it suits him whatever their alignment.

My mainshep is paragade , I've yet to do a Garrus romance with a shep that makes the renegade choices for both of his loyalty missions. I just prefer having him say "I've never met anyone like you.." for the Dr heart side quest and I enjoy having that extra dialogue when you spare Sidonis.
I'm playing ME1 again because I want to change a few decisions I made for mainshep , what I found adorable is Ashley's comment about kissing turians "you never know commander" it was so appropriate for this play through since she'll only be romancing Garrus.
I wanted to ask people here as well, since I'm guessing Garrus is the main LI for people here, who did you save on virmire? I find myself saving ash more than Kaidan now (not because I don't like him) because I feel my femsheps bond better with her than with a platonic Kaidan. There was even a special case where one of my femsheps DID romance Kaidan but saved ash because she knew she was fighting to die to reclaim honour and not to survive. It really put a great spin on my usual decision making, it reminded me of the dark knight when batman saved Harvey Dent instead of Rachel (like everyone expected).
Plus I'm just DYING to hear her reaction when she finds out Shepard is with Garrus

Plus I'm just DYING to hear her reaction when she finds out Shepard is with GarrusIn fact I would like to hear the thoughts about it from other team mates as well. So far it's just mordin, kasumi and Liara who are aware of them. I would love to hear what Joker, Tali, chakwas and wrex have to say since they were the old crew.
I always save Ash. I like Kaidan alright, but I like Ash more. My main femShep bonded more with her since I spent all my time with Kaidan trying (and failing) to deflect him. Plus, I do really want to know what she'll think. Honestly, the reaction that would please me most would reference her turian kissing comment. That comment totally made my day when I first heard it. I was like, "She's psychic!"
I also heartily agree that it would be nice to hear some other opinions on the romance. Joker and Wrex- being Joker and Wrex- would probably have something hilarious to say. Tali would probably say something adorable. Dunno what Chakwas would say.

I wish the romances in ME2 were more like that except I did feel like I was missing out on a bit of the story when I didn't romance anyone in ME1 my shepard didn't even have a breakdown which was kind of disapointing because I thought that was a standout moment.
Not that I prefered the romance subplot in ME1 because hell in ME2 you get Garrus XD but hopefully they improve a bit in ME3 though I imagine it will be harder to build a romance subplot on a already existing relationship.
I'm curious, any thoughts on how it will go down in ME3?

And if you Renegade him both times, you get the "I learned from the best" line.Hyrule_Gal wrote...

Most of the Shepards I have planned out will save Kaidan. I prefer Kaidan (never liked Ashley), but from my Shepards' point of view, most of them just think it's the right choice to keep the guy with tech skill near the nuke, then they go back to protect the nuke, and their personal feelings for each squadmate never come into play there. I have one MaleShep planned who starts to romance Ashley, but leaves her on Virmire to protect the nuke. Poor guy is so tragic. He'll also try to romance Samara, and we know how well that turns out...I wanted to ask people here as well, since I'm guessing Garrus is the main LI for people here, who did you save on virmire? Anyway, my FemShep who romances Garrus will save Kaidan. They were on good terms with each other, not quite friends but a nice guy to talk to. She went back to save the nuke more than anyone else, but out of those two (Kaidan and Ashley), she's glad Kaidan was the one protecting it. Their reunion on Horizon didn't go well at all though. Garrus said exactly what she wanted to say, and now she hopes that she'll never see Kaidan again unless they're on opposite sides of a battlefield. Out of the ME1 crew, Garrus and Wrex are the only two she feels like she can trust completely. Her relationship with Tali is strained due to the fact that she likes working with TIM, although she still calls Tali a friend for joining her in spite of that, especially right after Horizon. And she never liked Liara.
I much preferred the ME2 romances to those in ME1. Part of that is just because I like the options in ME2 better, and there are more of them - in ME1, I felt like there wasn't much choice, especially for a straight FemShep. Romances like Garrus', Tali's, Thane's, and Jack's are much more interesting to me, and I like the fact that the romance scenes were more personalized for each character.magenator wrote...
Personally I do think the romances in ME1 were better done than ME2. Flirtation gradually lead to something more then there was that cute scene at the lockers things when shepard had a bit of a breakdown.
I think it will go very well. I don't really have anything specific in mind, aside from the thought that Garrus becoming a Spectre and fighting crime with Shepard in the epilogue would be great, for romance and non-romance. Maybe we'll even get the chance to tell him where our Shepard wants their relationship to go. I trust that BioWare will come up with something awesome.I'm curious, any thoughts on how it will go down in ME3?

I would like to see more moments like the locker scene throughout the game rather than just one right at the end. I don't think it will be hard to build a romance subplot in the next game since the shepxgarrus romance just seemed to start at the end of ME2. Plus you know the squadmates will have their own subplot story again, which will no doubt play a role during the relationship.

The less I think about it, the less I'll be disappointed I guess? I'll be glad if they bring back the ME2 LI in one piece...
Otherwise... nerd rage abounds...

I'm trying not to imagine the events of ME3 in too much detail because it'll totally contradict what I thought ME3 would be if the real thing is different. Although, certain things about my Shepards and a Saren resurrection will stay the same in my imagination no matter what happens in-game. xD But that's different because I don't expect it. (I would just call ME3 the best game ever if it did happen.)
