Oh, Earthborn Ruthless doesn't wear his own seatbelt. He just makes everyone else wear theirs. xD He acts like the over-protective daddy his crew never had. And he drives like a madman in a car chase, so they need it.

How does anyone think turians in general are going to be portrayed in ME3 given that we are going to have to 'rally the galaxy' and all that? Are they just going to played up as antagonistic die-hards who can't possibly forget about R-314 (I hope not) or just reluctant since their casualties at the battle of the Citadel? Maybe it all wagers on everyone's favourite councilor and persuading him. In any way possible. This time, Shepard brings the wine.

There's no possible way that can end badly.

I was just thinking about the normal problems like the turians (and everyone else) not believing in the Reapers. I'm not sure what kind of effect the First Contact War will have, but the group of people Shepard's trying to convince will probably be old enough to have fought in it, or at least remember it. Also not sure if bringing wine would make Shepard's chances better or worse... if it's dextro wine, I say better.

@leonia: I got the impression Garrus' father was working all the time too. I'm hoping the reason why he isn't helping (or it just wasn't enough) is one of the reasons you suggested. Garrus doesn't seem to think his father isn't a bad guy, so I'm trying not to think the worst of him, but the situation is suspicious.

@Hyrule_Gal: The picture of Garrus and Saren? I've seen the random plot generator. It's kind of amazing that someone actually drew what it came up with... and drew it well. xD It's kind of funny to watch the responses people get from that thing too. Saren should never be allowed to see it though, because--

Haven't been around in a while so I'll have to catch up on the thread...

I've been playing through ME1 and ME2 again, a slight variation of my "canon" Shepard. Ever since Steam implemented the screen shot function, the free space on my hard drive has been shrinking rapidly. This shot is from Horizon.



I guess I never noticed it before but after that Horizon survivor tells you the big guns need calibrating, Garrus says something like "I'm sure one of us can figure it out."  It made me laugh harder than it should.

@ Kim: Sorry for the late post but thanks for the link. I shall try my best to wrap my around it at some point.

Also, although I am disturbed at the results, I am proud that a picture resulted from the plot generator. My husband and I were the ones who made it. We kept trying to figure out how so many referrals were coming to the site from deviantArt. Now I know.

But to point, I always have Garrus with me, so whether he's the one to mention calibrations on Horizon or not, I always laugh. I just want Shepard to shove him forward and say, "This guy can handle that for you."

So, I'm new to this thread, and still fairly new to the ME universe (by that I mean I know mostly everything about it, yet I've not fully finished ME2 yet.)  
I've been glancing at this thread from time to time ... but seeing this... OMG ITS SO TRUE.   I've fallen for Garrus... and i seriously just want to hug him. and as cute as the romance scene is....  they coulda done so much more! 

that said, this made me giggle.

I just like the fact that they made a shirt based off of Garrus' dialog in general. The design isn't anything to get excited about, but eh, it's a nod to his fans - he's getting some spotlight and that's good.

im making a female turian spectre charactre atm, and I need like description such as height and weight

I figure that female turians weight and has a height above female shephard, however the height and weight is still below garrus

does anybody know the height and weight of both female shephard and garrus? i mean the real fact, not just a guess

Garrus' romance dialogue cracked me up so bad that I still haven't managed to find all the pieces.

The character overall is absolutely awesome. I will not approve not having Garrus as a squad member in ME3.

We don't know exact heights and weights for Garrus and Shepard, but turians are described as being over six feet. According to Evolution, the one female we've seen was about the same size as the males.

@DsniperSVD: I would guess that turians are heavier. They're larger than humans, they have that huge collar around their neck and down their back, plus the fact that they probably have more "armored" skin like the faceplates. And that's a no for the nude turians. (Although, the turian concept art by BioWare is technically "nude," but it doesn't show anything.)

@Obsydian & ReileenaOrion: I guess Clan V can only be viewed by members. Alright then, copy + paste.

1. Download and install the Dragon Age: Origins Character Creator

2. Start the Character Creator and create a character

3. Upload the character to the Social Network. This may take a few hours, and the process will go faster if you delete any existing characters

4. After the character uploads, go to "Manage Characters" and delete it.


For those who own the game on PC (or not at all): My Games ->Dragon Age Origins - PC

For those who own the game on console: Open the Character Creator. At the 'Upload Character' screen, there will be a button called "Online Profile". Clicking this will take you to the list of characters uploaded with the character creator.

6. On your computer, go to "My Documents ->BioWare ->Dragon Age ->Pre-release Characters" or the equivalent

7. Replace the profile picture (CHARNAME_portrait) with the one you want (146pixels by 146 pixels, 40kb or less, .png) and set it to "read only" so that it doesn't get overwritten

8. Re-upload the character

9. When the character uploads, it should have your custom pic.
