Also, Kim, I just found the Redemption graphic novel and have purchased it.  I love my local comic book shop.. they had the hardcover copy, in PERFECT shape no less... for 10 bucks. I was near giddy when i saw that. 

Also,  I now have an N7 decal on the back of my car. cause i'm a dork. i'm so proud.

On the language in Evolution: I'm sort of leaning towards it not being turian. Desolas sort of made it sound like Saren didn't recognise it and then there is Ben who was human before the transformation. But then.. TIM seems able to understand multiple languages now so that doesn't help much in figuring it out. The comic got me thinking.. now we have at least 3 people affected with visions from Prothean relics (wait, is it Prothean?). I know a lot of people aren't happy about the artwork or the story but I'm curious about that relic and how it has affected TIM and possibly Saren.

Saren with two pistols? That looks awesome! And I agree, his bandana is awesome. He's the only turian I've seen with one, and he's been wearing them at least since he was 18.

You're right, it's probably some type of Reaper language. (Can't be Prothean because it makes husks.) Desolas' line about knowing how to talk to them did suggest that Saren didn't know how yet. But there he is, talking to them not in the special language, and they respond anyway. xD

I don't think Saren's been effected by the artifact yet, but TIM definitely has and I get the feeling his brother has too. I'm curious to see how much, because if the transformation turns out to be something terrifying in the end, I doubt Saren would be so fast to let the Reapers implant him. And I'm curious to see if Saren will get his cybernetic eyes and face implants during Evolution, by contact with the artifact, injury, or both (that thing shoots lightning).

I didn't have the impression in Revelation that Saren knew about the Reapers yet and there was no mention about his experience with the relic-thing (granted, the novel was written before the comic idea probably ever was conceived so there is that). So maybe nobody knows about the relic and its connections with the Reapers until later? Hm.

I don't think anyone knows about the Reapers yet. Even Desolas doesn't fully know what the artifact is capable of, or he wouldn't be so interested in studying TIM. As long as they don't find out about the Reapers, then it makes sense that all Saren thought about Sovereign in Revelation was "powerful alien technology." It also gives him an extra reason to look for it, if he believed it was connected to the artifact.

Is that a "Garrus for councillor" vote in the last panel? xD Interesting idea. I think he would hate all of the paperwork, rules and politics, but if he actually did have a chance to make the big choices, he would do better than those fools who still deny that the Reapers exist.

I think the forums automatically resize images to fit. I could read that one without a problem, but whenever I've had trouble, all I had to do was click on "quote" to see the larger image.

You could just post the link instead of the image itself. Also, right clicking and "view image" (at least in Firefox) opens it up in a new tab at full size.

I can't help but think the alcohol would burn when he pours it on his injuries like that, especially since it isn't even dextro (which means it could also give him an allergic reaction). xD Poor, crazy Garrus.

Besides, I think I know why people don't send him down the ducts on the suicide mission often. They know that he will usurp the SM system, and just walk away from that rocket in the face again. All fine and dandy.

For some reason, the first thing I thought of was Saren pouring a glass of Earthborn Ruthless' favorite alcohol over one of his injuries because he "thought it would help," then watching the poor guy try to act tough and not show the pain. xD Funny, but still a bad plan.

I can sort of see choosing Garrus for the vents because he's technically an infiltrator... luckily, I don't have any Shepards who would think that way. Garrus will survive every playthrough.

I didn't send him through the vents because I thought he would be more suitable as the team leader. Also, I thought that Legion or Tali would be better choices because they are full tecchies. Garrus, although a legend, is only half tecchie.

And I can totally see the expression on Saren's face when trying not to show any pain!

Oh, Saren wouldn't be quite crazy enough to do that to himself. He would do it to poor Earthborn Ruthless. xD

It's the scene where Shepard gets drunk at Dark Star, only with Garrus' character model in place of Shepard.

I'm sure Earthborn Ruthless likes your idea better though. xD He and Saren are very strange friends. They get along, they understand each other, but no one (except MainShep) can tell if they're honestly trying to help or get the other one killed. They confuse Garrus too, I bet.

Hello everybody! I return from the land of self imposed exile now that I have finished DA2 and no longer have to fear spoilers.

Lots of double Garrus goodness going on. I think that would be my main Shep's dream team, for a few reasons. XD All this posting about Evolution makes me really want to read it, but none of the nearby bookstores have it and we don't have any proper comic stores in the area. I think I'll have to wait until it's over and they package it all together into one book.

I'm in the same boat snuffles. I work in a bookshop, but we don' sell comics. And there aren't any comic stores anywhere near me that I know of.

Through my limited understanding of biology, the only real problem when it comes to the different isomer/chirality amino acids is after ingestion/digestion, I don't think there's any problem with external use... so maybe he's got the right idea!

Also awesome Saren is awesome.
