Very nice drawing up there.
All of your art is just awesome... first Nihlus, then Saren, and now Garrus in loyalty armor.YamiSnuffles wrote...

I also love that the turian emblem is in the background. Very great drawing there.
Obsydian, I have asked Louvette to draw a Garrus nekkid fanart on Drellickers, if I get her permission, I will post it on here
You read the last two chapter Kim! Very naughty! Especially considering what happens in the beginning.
And also, all these people who are being timid about the fanfics, I read them and enjoyed them! Don't be so shy, you guys a talented! In fact, Garrus fanfics are the most well written ones in my opinion (and I have read fics for many characters!)

I know this just sounds like the ramblings of a fangirl but I honestly think having Gar shirtless is better animation wise (hear me out!) One of the big problems was that garrus was always in bulky armour which meant it would have caused so many clipping issues if Shepard got close. The less clothes he has on the thinner he is, the thinner he is the less clipping issues there'll be! So it’s actually practical to have him half-nekkid for the next game *nods*
Also take into account the no snogging thing, they need to find a way to make up for that right? Answer? Half-nekkid Garrus. By putting more emphasis on physical touch it will still show just as much intimacy as if they were kissing. If they can make a separate model for Jacob for his romance scene *snore* they can do the same for Gar. Those pixelated abs went to waste because nearly everyone wanted to see thane and Garrus in the buff.

Do we have any beta-readers on this thread? Most everyone has posted their fan-fic or spoken about it with the qualifier of "it sucks" to one degree or another.

Your arguments for Shirtless Garrus are believable and compelling, and your passion for this worthy cause is greatly appreciated.:D

Thanks for the offer(s) to Beta-read. My husband gets grumpy when I ask him to go over certain parts with me. I think he's jealous. What he doesn't get is that I like Garrus so much is partially because of his voice, but mostly because of his personality- which reminds me of my husband's.
Well, if you don't mind reading spoilers, I posted the turian (and Saren) information in Clan V.Tasha vas Nar Rayya wrote...
Oh man, I haven't read Evolution 2 or 3 yet! Only one comic store anywhere near me, and they don't have them two.
I need to play ME1 again and check those turian insignias then, I was sure it was an eagle type thing...
And that's the thing with Saren, you see him as a villain, and don't think of what he was like before hand. Which is why it's great that the comics provide that insight. The Virmire speech was so amazing. And also what Matriarch Benezia said about him and the effects of indoctrination.
She could break out of it for a period of time, I know Saren was in deeper, but I wonder what he would do if he managed to break out of his indoctrination for a short period of time...
What's interesting is that none of the turians I saw on Palaven had the same tattoos as Garrus. There could be a lot of turians who were born elsewhere and then moved to the homeworld for opportunity or whatever reason, but it was a little surprising. I wouldn't be surprised if the artists just didn't think about the meaning of the tattoos though, since Saren's brother randomly got tattoos between volumes 1 and 2. (Still have no idea where Saren's from, by the way. Just that his brother said "I have returned," which could mean returned to Palaven or returned from war.)leonia42 wrote...
I always did wonder about that symbol, since there's never any mention of it or its meaning. I do find it interesting that Garrus retains his ties to Palaven (the markings we know for sure, not so sure about the armour insignia). There weren't many turians on Omega that weren't barefaced, and why would there be? They are all mercenaries or rebels that have left turian space and left their obligation to the Hierarchy. Garrus, with all his trouble with the red-tape on the Citadel, still seems ok with identifying himself as a citizen, even if his specialisation at the start of the game is actually titled "turian rebel". I always did wonder what his opinions on that subject were, he talks more about his life at C-Sec than his life on Palaven prior to that (well, ok there is the reach and flexibility chat about some of his time in the military). So does he support the Hierarchy now or not?
