Aaaw, Obsydian! You have the fanfic sigbar that Nod made for Heroes Never Die in your sig! Thanks, hehe!
And turians were excellently designed. They look alien, and still look cool. Not even Star Wars could manage that!

And Garrus NEEDS HUGS!!

i will gladly give Garrus hugs. anytime forever. :D
Also, :D  yes... must pimp you out, my friend. lol.

also, the dialogues that are happening are hilarious... i can't see Garrus losing his cool enough to throw things like that though.

I'm not worried about Garrus being indoctrinated at all. Honestly, I worry about Shepard more than anyone else.

Hey, it's possible. xD

Desolas: Oh, you're one to talk about fashion, Saren. You've been wearing those headbands for years.
Saren: Headbands are a subtle fashion statement. Your face is bright purple.
Desolas: Purple is our genetic destiny.
Saren: Brother, you know I can't debate this crazy Reaper logic.
TIM: Guys, I'm still here. Handcuffed to a chair.

Turian torture.

Listening to the Arterius brothers talk about fashion is torture? xD What Saren did to that batarian in Revelation was torture. TIM is lucky.

Just wait until they start discussing frills and lace. That's when it starts getting darker.

Much darker.

Not their style. Sounds more like Leliana to me. Desolas likes antique purple robes.

Talking about fashion is torture?

Then the techno turian puts me in agony everytime I see him. He is a fashionista!
And indoctrination? Garrus is the most loyal to Shepard, so I can't see him betraying her/him even if he was indoctrinated. But maybe I'm being hopeful. Saren, as a lone spectre, didn't really have any loyalties to anyone (except perhaps his brother.). Perhaps that is why he turned against Shepard so easily.

And Obsydian, you didn't know that was my fanfic bar? Lol!

I don't know... I couldn't care less about fashion, but if it's Saren and his brother talking, I would listen to that. Same with anything Saren says. Although, I get the feeling his closet is probably full of armors and headbands that are very similar, yet not completely the same, and hardly any casual outfits because he's always on missions anyway. xD

I bet Saren would be loyal to the memory of his brother above all else. In volume 3, Desolas made a comment about humans getting power in the Citadel too fast and wanting turians to be above all other species. Looks like Saren was trying to carry out his brother's wish. And he did try very hard not to kill Shepard. At first he told Shepard to stay out of it and tried to stop him/her from becoming a Spectre, then he asked Shepard to join him on Virmire and left without killing Shepard after he/she refused, then killed himself before the indoctrination would force him to attack Shepard again.

There was even a moment on Virmire when Saren was flying off on his geth hoverboard, he and Shepard were looking right at each other, and neither one reached for a weapon or anything. :D Their many "I don't want to kill you" scenes are adorable. And so fitting for my MainShep.

Haha.  Trust Kim to break out the Sarendoctrination.  Personally, I saw it as him wanting my Shep to join him rather than fight him because he knew she could be an asset.

In the criminal justice system, the people of the citadel are represented by two separate yet equally important groups. C-sec, and the goddamn Garrus Vakarian (cue music from law and order intro).

Law & Order: Citadel Security OR Law & Order: SPECTRE

I would definitely watch a Law & Order series starring Garrus. Although, I would think for the SPECTRE route, it would have to go something like this:

In the criminal justice system, the people of the galaxy are represented by two separate yet equally important groups: Garrus and Vakarian. THAT IS ALL.

LOL, Yes Tasha, I knew it was. :D I rather like it though. lol. Also, there is NOTHING wrong with the techno turian. i watch that video at least once a day.

Ya know, you guys are starting to turn me towards "the way of Saren" .... Not that I didn't love him to begin with, but I never really noticed that there were definitly times when he tried not to kill Shep.

On a more Garrus related note. I saw a book at BN yesterday that was called "Archangel" and was really really sad when it wasn't about Garrus. ...er, not that ... i *ahem* had thought it would be... lol.

Also... without spoilers... has anyone yet played Arrival? Anything pertinant happen? :D  Inquiring minds and all, and I can't play it for another week or so...

There's 2.5 seconds of Garrus if you let the Reapers win =D

In a way, that's how I see it too. Shepard is the only other person who knows firsthand what the Reapers are capable of (not counting TIM), and I think Saren wanted another person around who was aware of the truth. He seemed honestly surprised that, knowing the same things he did, Shepard didn't come up with the same solution. But once he found out that Shepard wasn't going to help him... it was obvious that Shepard would try to stop his plan, and it would have made sense to kill him/her just like Nihlus. And yet, he doesn't even try. When he grabbed Shepard and lifted him/her, he could have easily pulled a gun right there if he wanted to. Saren was fighting Shepard, but their battle on Virmire never looked like a fight to the death.

That's what I'm here for, to analyze Saren and point out things most people wouldn't notice. :)

...Seriously? I only read a little information on Arrival, but I guess I'll have to read the Wiki's summary if it's up yet.

Look for the arrival bad end on youtube. There's 2.3 secs of TIM as well =P

I have bought Arrival, but it won't work! It says my EA account doesn't exist (when I created it ages ago for LotSB.) So I created a new one. It asked for my Cerberus Network activation code. So I gave them it. And they said it had already been taken.

Yeah, by me! Pfft. Won't let me use it again though...
So I'm gonna have to buy the Cerberus Network thing just for the Arrival DLC. And even if there is 2.5 secs of Garrus, then yeah!

And is there any information about Garrus somewhere? Like LotSB had on the dossiers and convos about the squaddies.

No new info on Garrus, he wasn't even mentioned. Arrival is kinda like Overlord in that regard.

That's really weird about the EA account. Does it ask you for a password or something?

Re-buying the Cerberus Network seems unfair =(

Well, I suspect there will be more 'bridging' DLC to come anyway. Let's hope for more tidbits about Garrus in them. Still many a month until ME3 after all.

One dev said it's the last story DLC =( but that "maybe" there could be non-story dlc, like costumes and such.

That ending really does look bad for the team. And now I'll have to read that summary to figure out why TIM is standing there, in person, with Garrus and the others. No fair. My Shepards want to meet him in person, but Garrus beat them to it. xD (Or not. Who knows what the default ending will be.)

It's never explaned why TIM or anyone is there. It's more of a "what if" scene anyway.

Okay, that makes sense. TIM seems more like the type to watch it happen on a hologram screen from far away.

Arrival sounds cool, but at least it looks like I didn't miss much.

I log in with my email address, and use the correct password, and it says the account doesn't exist. So yeah, rebuying it kinda sucks. I obviously have it because of LotSB...

Ah well, the life of a gamer is not a cheap one Posted Image.

And it sounds like some fantastic story DLC. But ME3 won't be coming out until the end of the year. Are we going to be deprived of Garrus goodness until then in that case? Posted Image

Maybe you should ask about it in tech support or something, see if anyone else is having the same problem?

The solution to more Garrus is playing ME1 and/or ME2 again.
