I haven't read through every page of this thread so I apologize if this was already discussed but...
Is anyone else concerned that romancing Garrus in ME2 may have negative repercussions? I was testing different dialogue options during one of the conversations in the forward battery and when I chose the "let's just stay friends" option Shepard said something to the effect of "I care about our friendship too much to do this cheaply". That surprised me and immediately I started to wonder if maybe the whole romance was a little hasty.

I think that was just Shep letting him down gently.  Also, no time to be hasty like right before a suicide mission where you don't know if you'll have a tomorrow to worry about, right?

Also, Garrus, take some notes from Anders.  Not in the crazy department, please, but in the SEXYTIMES department.  Garrus probably couldn't pull off the Anders kiss, but he could at least push FemShep up against a wall and run his hands through her hair or something :P

Make this happen!!

I like the headbump but show some passion man. And leave the whole werewolf think you see on the kinkmeme out please :D

Perhaps a Fenrisian wall slam would be in order? Could totally see Garrus doing that one, well, except all the glowing.

Shepard has a hair-shaped helmet instead of real hair, so hair grabbing is physically impossible D=

His fringe , on the other hand...

Ooo, I like.  I very much like.

One way or another, some passion would be nice.  Garrus is a passionate dude.  He can show it around FemShep, I'm sure she won't mind

So true, Garrus is a passionate dude. He puts his heart into everything. It would be awesome to see him lose control for moment and assert his feelings for Shep.

I think some quick, crazy passion is a must for ME3. There is no time for Flux music and gentle headbumps with a Reaper invasion going on. Not that I'm against sweetness and I don't want anything explicit, but a little DA2 style passion would probably do both Garrus and Shepard some good.

Just so long as DA's tendency to angst-****** to excess doesn't also creep in.

LOL.  Somehow I don't think so.  DA is dark fantasy, huge doses of angst is practically a requirement.  ME is heroic space opera.  Also, Garrus is a lot less full of himself than Fenris or Anders.  I love those boys, but someone needs to release a mod where you can just punch them.

Or buy them some therapy.

Garrus has his issues, of course, but you're not totally wrecked after dealing with them, whereas in DA it's a constant barrage of "Oh ****, all these people's lives are totally ****ed no matter what I do."  (I did enjoy DAO and DA2 tons, but I'm having trouble feeling like doing another PT of DA2 because I felt so gutted at the end of the first one.)

Well, yeah, everyone in ME is a professional badass.  Of course they're going to keep their attitudes more professional.  Hell, even little miss crazypants Jack does a better job of handling her stuff on her own than the DA characters do.

But I like me some heartbreak, so I'm good with DA2 for what it is...though I still want both a Punch Anders and a Hug Anders mod.

You know, I wouldn't mind a fluffy romance for like a minute or so. Anything to patch that broken heart my Hawke had when things went red lol. She still ran off with her gorgeous apostate. But yeah, if Garrus starts talking about meeting a spirit (because the turians believe in spirits hahaha) I'm praying to the Maker that we can kick some sense into him.
"If the spirit wants to merge with you to help you bring justice to innocents, run in the other direction!!"
"But Shep-"
"*Cuffs Garrus to bed* There."

Garrus: Shepard, I'm feeling kind of emo, I think I might go plant a bomb in the--
Shepard: No. Uh-uh. Not doing this.
Garrus: But I--
Shepard: Calibrations would be preferable.
Garrus: *sighs* Fine.

I am hoping that the two teams are sharing both ways what they've learned.

Cause they listen to the little things we have to offer that would make the experience better.

And Gorramit... I need shirtless Garrus in my life. X.X

Yeah, my Shepard would b****slap Garrus like none other if he ever pulled an Anders.  But I don't think Garrus would.  Or if he considered it, he would at least tell Shep beforehand, and she could yell at him for being a great flaming MORON.  No one yells quite like Shep.

You know what would be a great LI moment , if after the big battle is over there was a moment where shepard can't see if her crew surived or not. And when you start to fear the worst you see your LI limping in the distance... and even though they are both hurt and tired they still find the energy to run towards eachother for an epic hug. When ME1 ended I loved that sad moment where the squaddies thought you were dead, they hung their heads and sadly looked back. I want something like that to happen again but have it followed with the best "WE DID IT!" moment in game history.

dear god, I agree.  Fenris was my favorite in DA2 anyway.   That would be HOT.  However, I would love to see a wee bit of sweet passion. We all know Shep is passionate, and Garrus has no shortage either...  would be nice.

I definitly agree that some of the dialogue is lost and its sad, but there should be different dialogue if you're in a romance or not...  It should, however, be game effecting.

Hey all, just stopping in to share this. I came up with this casual outfit for Garrus a while ago, but only now detailed it a bit. I go to the school of Power Rangers Character Color Coordination, so there you go.

Enjoy.

I really do hope Garrus gets a new casual outfit in ME3. Or, if they don't want to make one, shirtless Garrus will more than suffice.

Yes, I hope Garrus conveniently loses his outfit, or at least part of it...
*cue Shepard sneaking away from the Main Battery with Garrus's shirt while he sleeps, a devious look on her face*

I hope we get treated with a shirtless garrus but I have a nagging doubt. DA2 didn't have fenris shirtless because they would have had to of cut other things...even his writer thought it was unfair, I just hope they don't skimp on the dialogue and cutscenes like this again, its the last game after all.

Same about the casual outfit. I mean, the grey/green/blue has kinda grown on me, but I'd prefer something a little less... generic. Hehe.

Garrus needs a smoking jacket like Hawke, that would be awesome. Maybe not in the same colours though.

We can have another Saleon/Sidonis moment!

Garrus: Shepard, I planted a bomb in the base filled with indoctrinated humans. I've got the trigger right here.

*Paragon Path*
Shepard: Garrus, there are civilians that aren't indoctrinated in there! You can't do that!
Garrus: *sigh* Fine. You're always right, Shepard.

*Neutral Path*
Shepard: Huh? What?
Garrus: *presses button*

*Renegade Path*
Shepard: Blow them to hell.
Garrus: *presses button*
