I'm hoping there's a bit more fire to what goes down with the ME3 LIs simply because well, in Garrus's case, if you're continuing that romance, Shep and Garrus have probably already figured each others thresholds.

Then there's the VS reunion...

Might have to go gently with Thane, depending on how that thread gets tied up. I swear if we don't get a chance to cure him, I will be disappoint. -.-

I'm getting antsy for ME3... but I don't want to spoil to much of it. Arg!

I will be seriously disappoint if they screw up the Thane plotline...   

yeah, I'll be looking at every spoiler i can get my hands on for ME3. And then I iwll hate myself for it later. but it'll be a good hate. its the hate that you feel when you've eated a tub of ice cream and really shouldn't have.

The one or two possible spoilers I'll indulge in is how Garrus returns (as in, he better be a freakin' squaddie) and if Thane lives and is a squaddie.

That's it.

Because he's locked in my cabin.

Everyone else will just have to buy his action figure in December.

I've learned to get over hating myself for spoilers.  I know I'll eat them up anyway, so why worry?

Wait, I thought he was in my cabin!
Hehe. We talked about it on the Thane thread, and we think his role will be a great spoiler that they won't release until either just before the game is released or when it's released. A bit like how Garrus' return in ME2 was a bug spoiler before ME2 came out.

But now, I'm not sure if I will be able to resist the spoilers!

LOL. Speeching seriously... I really hope that BW will be able to produce some action figures... but possibly not the DC's ones... after the mess they did the don' t deserve to have our moneys. Garrus's one sadly was quite good.

At least they gave us Garrus T-shirts! Although I have found a T-shirt prinitng shop near where I live, so I'm gonna get one with the calibrations line on. So if you see someone with that T-shirt, then make sure you say hi to a fellow Garrus groupie!

It is true, I think he's the only squaddie to get his own OFFICIAL BioWare t-shirt. Gods, I always hope to see someone in ME gear or somesuch.

Man, I need to get back on the boat with Garrus fanfiction.  I've been picking at two WIPs for months now.  One of them is almost completed...I just need to buckle down and finish it.  If any of you have seen LOST, it's a sideways universe for Kaliya Shepard and Garrus should they die in ME3.

LAWL.  I love the BioWare VAs.  They're such funny, down-to-earth people, and so good at indulging their crazy fans.

Adam Howden (Anders' new VA) also has some hilarious things to say, though those are decidedly NSFW.

I don't see the comparison of Garrus and Anders as a bad thing. They have enough in common that a good amount of fans who like one also like the other. It doesn't mean they'e the same. No one here really thinks that Garrus would turn into Anders, right? I know a lot of people on the old Garrus threads worried about Garrus turning into Saren. Not going to happen. Everyone knows I like Saren, and I like Anders too... and while it's always possible that Garrus could get more in common with them over time, it would ignore a major part of his character to make him completely like one or the other.

Garrus wants to protect the innocent. Saren and Anders both care about their cause above all else, to the point that they would kill innocents if they're in the way. Although my FemShep certainly wouldn't blame Garrus if he wanted to blow up the Council, it's out of character. He respects them a lot more than most of my Shepards do, judging by some of his comments. Saren's the one with a grudge against the Council. xD

As for the romance comparisons, I can't imagine Garrus shoving Femshep against the wall... I mean, it makes sense when they were talking about sparring, but doesn't fit with how sweet, nerous, and gentle he acted in the final scene.  I like the suggestion of him touching FemShep's hair though. I always thought some turians (and other alien species) might find it fascinating.

Interesting. I have no idea what either of those things are like, but interesting all the same. Is that for all turians, or unique to Garrus? I've never thought about what turians smelled like before. Well, except a random thought that Saren probably smells like gunpowder after missions, with all the shooting and explosions that tend to happen whenever he goes on a mission. xD
