Child Saren curled up on the couch under a warm blanket, leaning against his big brother. That would be adorable. :D

Ok.  This would be just about the cutest fanart EVAR. <3

If only I could draw that. The cuteness. :D Child Saren would definitely wait up for Desolas to come home from missions.

@Obsydian: Can you post the picture here too? Deviantart always tries to give my PC a virus for some reason. ):

I think turian children would look like chibi adults with shorter fringe, mandibles, and a smaller collar.

Do you think the turian fringe grows longer as a turian ages?

Warden Kuril would be quite a sight, if so.

Oy, yes.  He was one of the older turians we encountered, correct?

I think so. The fringe is probably fully grown by their late teen years though, because Evolution Saren's fringe was the same length as ME1 Saren.

sure. sorry bout that. :D  its not Garrus, sadly, but its too cute for words.

I feel as though I may have good dreams tonight. :D  I hope so.... I did have an ME dream before... for some reason it involved an orgy, and me being mad at Garrus cause he wanted to participate in it.
weird.  just weird.

without further ado...

Yup.  He was all crackly on his skin and stuff.  Older sounding voice, too.

I thought that was Mordin, Garrus, and Grunt in that picture? Another one I haven't seen in months. So cute.

Turians do seem to get cracks in their faceplates as they get older. I haven't been able to figure out if it's just from age, stress, battle experience (almost like scars), or a combination of all three. Saren's face was cracked like that at least from the age of 26, if not before. But Saren also has all those implants that look like they're holding his face together, so I'm guessing "battle injury" for him.

probably some of column A B and C for most turians. I'd guess it would depend on how action oriented they are. I mean, are there rich turians off sitting somewhere being fat and happy doing nothing, like there are humans?

I can't see a fat turian... it would be odd.

Could be Mordin, Garrus and Grunt... i don't think that the artist was terribly specific in her/his description.

A fat turian? With how military-focused their race is, probably not. I would think everyone is encouraged to be in fighting shape. They do have different body types though, judging by Revelation/ME1 Saren.

Lazy turians? The politicians, of course. The turian councillor's face looks pretty smooth next to Saren's and Warden Kuril's too.

Hmm, valid point. I kinda always blamed that on the animation.. but you are probably right. I'm gonna have to pay more attention while I'm playing to things like that. :D

Most of the turians in Evolution do have the same body type, but I'm sure Saren can't be the only one who's different... He was more thin at age 18 though, so maybe he just eats a whole lot all at once so he can stay on missions for days without being hungry. Seriously, the poor guy went on an all-day mission in Revelation, slept for a few hours, and then left for a night mission with Anderson.

There was a fat batarian in Redemption though. I laughed.

LOL, i can see fat batarians.. they don't seem as active. Eating a lot all at once though, won't give you enough energy for many days... it'll actually make you more lethargic... i can see him having the turian equivilant to a granola bar every few hours... thats what modern soldiers do.

hmm... I really need to start reading Evolution. I'm missing out on so much. I have a new mission for tomorrow. Must find those comics.

Kim Shepard, I just wanna say I -love- your sig bars~

Re: fat turians...They're probably like birds in that they've got a limit to how fat they can get because I just have sooo much trouble imagining an overweight turian!

After reading you guys' posts, I want to draw a young turian now, lol

[Edit 1: hurr durr derp, I can't word stuff properly tonight]

I probably chose the wrong words there. I meant, if he's not as thin, he won't feel it as much if he goes without eating for an extended period of time. But I'm sure he did start eating a lot whenever Sovereign gave him biotic implants. Biotics have to eat a lot more than non-biotics, but I forgot how much.

@technoquarian: The banners were made by kimprobable. :) There are more on page 709.

Hey, look what I found again when I went searching for the banners! xD

I forgot about this. I'm sure my MainShep (Kim Shepard) has it saved to her omni-tool though.

oh Kim, that is priceless!! lol.

oook, I see what you mean. Yeah that makes more sense. I wonder if Soveriegn gave him food implants too... i mean, when you're taking over a galaxy, you can't just stop over at McDonalds... lol. i can't see Saren cooking dinner or anything... lol.

Thanks for the link, Kim!

This talk of Saren cooking is reminding me of a fic I read that involved him making a hobby of it in his offtime. Probably better suited to Clan Vakarian, though.

Which reminds me- is there a Saren appreciation fanclub and/or thread? If not, how does one get one started?

Saren probably eats a lot of fast food. I don't see him as the type to cook either, or even stop by his own home that much (which I can only assume is a fancy condo on the Citadel). But MainShep knows how to cook. :) She'd totally steal the kitchen from Gardner and make Saren's favorite meal after his resurrection.

By the time of ME1 though, with all of his implants, I wonder if he even needs to eat anymore. Those blue tubes are the only thing visible under the left side of his armor. (Right where his heart should be, if turians are the same as humans. D:) Maybe that was one of the weaknesses he didn't have anymore.

The Saren fanclub is pretty much here in the Garrus/Turian Discussion thread. There's some Saren talk in Clan V too. To start a new one, you could make a thread or group.

Hyrule... I can't stop reading the tweets from P. Weeks from like 6 or 7 hours ago.

I wish I understood twitter.

I can't tell if he's kidding. *is sleep deprived*

Eh, if it'd just be redundant, I don't see much point to it.

This particular story was set before Sovereign, when Nihlus was still training under him. It was the good type of slash. I can imagine him being somewhat of a gourmet while being instinctive enough to eat whatever.

I sincerely hope my Sheps don't carry my cooking skill, since that usually ends in disaster 8D

I only pair Saren with my MainShep. xD Her twin/clone wanted Nihlus though, before he died and she met Garrus.

My Shepards' cooking ability is partly determined by their past. MainShep lived on a colony with a non-military family, so she learned frrom her mother. My Earthborn Ruthless, who was surrounded by criminals during his early life, can only cook simple things over an open fire.

I pair him off with Nihlus >_> My femShep invariably goes for Garrus. Poor guy, I can't not want to love on him!

Cooking simple things over an open fire is pretty much what I do IRL. My sheps make use of the galley xD

ad;lkajdfk *flail* So yesss...I'm off for the night. Laters!

I wonder what game Grunt is playing. xD Maybe ME2 as a Vanguard, charging into explosive crates and using the Cain in close combat. Also, I just realized... in that picture behind them, it looks like a turian's legs and feet on the right, and someone in a long dress on the left.
