I can't wait to put a bullet between TIM's eyes. After Garrus finished giving his kidneys a friendly thumping. XD

So! Thoughts? Ideas? When there's a good number of ideas for the title, I'll make a poll.

@Collider and Ape: we're going to change the thread title in a while. I hate 'support' though, so I'd rather leave that out. We're going to put something turian in the title, so we can discuss others without being off-topic.
For what it is worth, I agree. /shrugs

A poll is a good idea Chim, like I said before what would we do without you. Stop lurking and come out and play!
Having just said that - I'm going to say goodnight Garrus Thread, carve the roast I've just cooked, watch Dr Who and True Blood and spend time with the loved one.
Oh and Garrus

I like the poll idea too. But as an idea for the thread title, maybe we should go for a Garrus quote?

I'm still not sure why people would want to save the base, Garrus's input in favor of it or no. I mean, TIM has eyes like Saren's. And he seems very ominous with his desire to keep the base, too.
Anyone else thinking that maybe TIM is or is becoming indoctrinated?
Wow, this is curious, somehow we came to the same end by different ways. I just asked this here yesterday (but not because I was thinking about the collector base but because I saw Saren's eyes as I replayed ME1, isn't this nice?) right before I went to sleep. I'm not sure what do TIM's eyes stand for, but they really DO look like Saren's.
A "quoty" title would be fun, maybe too much though.
I'll vote for anything that has Garrus, turian and maybe discussion and love. And maybe also a quote, or a reference to it, so the fun wouldn't be OT either. Oh well, I guess you can't have it all. xD

As for keeping/destroying the Collector Base: all my Sheps told Mordin to keep his student's research, so it would've been a bit hypocritical for them to destroy the base just because people had died for that research. But...there was no way TIM was getting his hands on it. If he hadn't been involved, I would probably have kept the base. But I sure ain't handing it over to him.
About height, Garrus is definitely taller than both genders of Shep. And I was also surprised by how tall salarians are. Perhaps the fact that they're so skinny makes people think they should be shorter too? As for krogan, it's the fact that they're so massively built that makes you think they should be taller, but they aren't actually all that tall.
@ Andaius: I love that Cerberus poster!
@ Xsause: Garrus' LM is also my second favourite. Mordin's LM has the top slot though.
And FZT does have pretty eyes.
@ Collider: If you still need help with those platforms, here's how I cleared them on Insanity (I had Thane and Garrus with me as well). Bring the Cain. When the first two platforms start arriving, charge the Cain as the second one is moving into range from the top of the screen (it's got a Scion on it). Nuke the Scion (if the Cain doesn't one-shot it, just shoot it dead, it should only take one more bullet), and you'll bypass a group of Collectors, thus making your life easier.
@ Buggirl: Concerning alcoholic drinks, we have no way of knowing: turians can't drink the same stuff as humans.

Awwww Ape and Collider - but I like love and adoration! Mind you, you are quite right in that it might encourage more into the thread for general discussions.
I can see that "Love and Adoration" would seem to exclude some people, and I certainly don't want to alienate anyone. However, IMHO "Garrus Support Thread" just sounds too watered-down for me. Can we come up with a compromise?

She has surprised me in a very very very positive way!
Oh, by the way, I'm trying to check salarians and I still can't see their higher height in comparison to humans. IMO, they look higher because of their... how are their head bumps called?
But still, I have yet to see them from a "non-cinematic" point of view. If I get the chance to see ia salarian and a human from an "objective" pov (and, if possible, having a turian next to them), I'll screenshot it and put it up here.

So while reflecting on Garrus lines that might fit as a thread title, I started mentally cycling through the loyalty mission. And while it doesn't work for the purposes, I was reminded of a line powerful enough to spark a whole fic'd scene.
"What do you want from me, Shepard?"
The only response in my head when I heard it was "Just...you."

This might be a good height comparison:

I think Garrus is taller than Shepard, but Mordin's slightly taller than Garrus.

The one thing that bugs me about Garrus advocating keeping the base is that he'll then turn around and speak of doom and gloom if you actually take his advice. All of those who advocate keeping the base will do this. Well, I forget if Zaeed actually does, but the others do.
Dude, you either agree with the idea or you don't. Or maybe he had forgotten in the heat of the moment that it was Cerberus that was keeping the base. Then on hindsight he's all "Wait... maybe that wasn't such a good idea afterall..."
A lot of people mentioned wanting to keep the base so long as they could tell the Council or the Alliance about it and have them research the base instead. This would be interesting because I bet it would tip the skills strongly in favor of keeping the base and those who decide to destroy it would then be in the minority.

Okay, so far no doubts about Turian/Human height.
This is an old screenie I've got (well, old=yesterday) and Mordin isn't in the best place to compare, so we still have the "How tall is a salarian?" million dollar question without answer. I'm still unsure about them being taller than humans AND turians. My perspective sense (which isn't THAT good) tells me Mordin would be about Shep's height, maybe a bit taller, but not enough to pass an MShep... OR GARRUS!
