Ah, now I can rest easier during the many months until ME3 comes out. I was pretty sure Garrus would still be around, but it's definitely nice to have it confirmed. Now I can happily go back to pondering what kind of Shepard/Garrus romance content will be in the game.

Quite honestly I am really happy Garrus is a confirmed squadmate now, but if the only other squadmates in ME3 are Ash/kaiden, Liara, and Sanders I am going to rage big time.

Is it just me or is anyone else going to squeal with glee if we get to see Garrus fighting with Shepard on Earth? I find the idea of him being on Earth just freakin' fantastic for some reason lol.

Oh definitely!  I have my fingers crossed that he and Liara are at the trial with you and are your inital squadmates as you fight your way to the Normandy. That would be soooo cool!

I could totally see an awesome scene with you and Garrus fighting against endless hordes of husks, then perhaps followed with someone sniping a husk just as it's about to kill you. Gotta have that in ME3 bioware!
Also, just me who feels this thread is descending into Garrus-ME3 hysteria? Not that that's a bad thing mind you.

I can't handle all this excitement. I keep watching the teaser trailer and hoping that in the coming months a Garrus trailer will pop up, like the character specific trailers they had for ME2. Imagine Garrus sitting there talking about why he's fighting with Shepard?! GAAAAHH!

If he's in london I'll extra squeee. If he's at the trial I'll squee. If he defends me at the trial I wil squee. I best not play this in front of people because the fangirl squeeing is going to be frequent...and loud.

Meh.  Garrus will be fine.  DA is dark fantasy and therefore filled with heartbreak.  ME is heroic space opera.  Or at least, that's what I tell myself
