Soooo you think they'll give us Shirtless Garrus this last game?

I know most of us are hoping for it, but think it's too much of a clipping monstrosity? Or do you think we'll get something awesomely tasteful?

With his luck any shirtless scene would end up like the one Big Boss had.

@Obsydian: Nihlus... *cries in a corner* I LOVE Nihlus, but I also LOVE Garrus... maybe a banner that has them both? Or one that includes those two and Saren? Yes, I think we need a Turian bad a**es banner with all three. If only I could make one. *sigh*

@SilentStephi: I hope we get a shirtless Garrus. I agree with Hyrule_Gal (every time she makes her arguments for shirtless Garrus you can't help but agree lol.)

Yes... we need someone who makes banners. I like that idea, Reileena. :D
There needs to be more turians in my life.
*steals Nihlus again*

Also, I'm not sure that the arguements against shirtless Garrus exist... do they really? is there actually people who wouldn't want that? lol.

::delurks:: I made Nihlus banners once on request, but alas, they don't have his lovely face on them.

I'm sure there are a lot of people who don't want to see shirtless Garrus. Normally not the same ones who romance him. There, problem solved. xD I just want a scene where FemShep can be sweet with Garrus the way he was wth her. They could do both, but if I had to choose just one... my FemShep actually responding in-character is more important. Maybe we won't have to choose. Who knows? Just BioWare, at this point.

Banners with Saren, Nihlus, and Garrus sound cool.

Maybe we need to put our heads together and do a "shirtless Garrus" campaign similar to the "cure Thane" campaign. I can't draw very well but it wouldn't stop me from trying to contribute.

Seriously one shot of half-naked Garrus would make up for all times a scantily clad asari groped, hit on and shook their asses in my poor shepard's face. He's the one alien (besides thane *drool*) who I want to see some skin from , the asari are completely wasted on me in that regard.

The argument against would likely be cost and resources. For instance, shirtless Fenris was sadly scrapped from DA2 because it wasn't cost effective to do a complete model and texture for one scene.

The obvious solution: Include Palaven and reuse the model for some shirtless turian NPCs enjoying the fine, beachy weather. B)

...That still wouldn't make up for it, not for me. But I still have yet to replay ME1 after an asari trap-romance.

Now, if they brought back Saren and made him a romance option, they're forgiven for the asari. xD

From what I've seen of Palaven in Evolution, I think Garrus lied to us about the beaches.

Exactly, they won't be seeing the model anyway because they wouldn't romance him in the first place so its a pointless argument from the "ick" crowd. I don't want to see liara in the buff but I don't demand that she not be shown that way just because I don't personally care for it.  Plus this is a sci fi game, some people seem to forget that with the mass effect series.

But the weather could still be beachy, right? Breezy, warm, perfect for shedding those constricting turian shirts...

Thanks, Aris!

I'd totally be on-board with a shirtless Garrus campaign xD

Now, make him bromanceable, and make him shirtless and I will be one happy quarian.  /also tired of asari shaking their moneymakers all over his tv

Obsydian- I wanna see this picture you're drawing!  Also, yuss, Nihlus needs moar love.  Glad to see he's growing on you <3

True but more money and resources have been put into the mass effect series and it wasn't rushed like DA2. Mass effect 2 also demonstrated the willingness to design separate romance models (Miranda and Jacob) so they HAVE done it already just not with every character. It’s also the last game too so I’m hoping they’ll throw the Garrusmancers a bone here just to be nice ^_^.

That solution is perfect by the way *daydreams about a beach filled with half-nekkid turian men*

It looked more like a world filled with radiation. Green sky, no plant life (bare rock ground), and hopefully the water was only green due to a reflection from the sky. o_o

Really? D:  I thought it looked arid, but not completely desolate.  Now I'mma have to look again.

True that. But time is also an issue and I can't help but feel like ME3 is coming out really quickly. I agree with your logic though, I'd forgotten about Miranda and Jacob. I can't imagine a shirtless turian would take that much more time or energy than was obviously spent perfecting Jacob's abs.

@Kim Shepard: Makes sense, oceans and lakes look blue here. Green doesn't necessarily mean radiation either since it's an alien planet. But then I haven't seen any pictures from it, so I don't know.

I also want shirtless Garrus for ME3, even though he won't be romanceable by a male. Although, I don't think this will be very likely; even though the people that react with "ICKY" have the choice not to romance Garrus, they'll still win because they're (for some reason) the majority.

Here's to hope! Hopeless, hopeless hope.

Good News Garrus Fans!

Garrus is the only confirmed returning ME2 Squaddie! Not even Tali got in on this great honor of being the first ad only!

The fact that Bioware even made him a romance in the first place shows that they didn't listen to the "icky!" majority that time. And as you can see, sales didn't plummet and gamers didn't die so I'm hoping they'll do the same again *fingers crossed*

A lot of gamers find virgin alien cicks with crows feet to be hot. Thus the icky claims against Garrus held no merit since many of those that said Garrus was icky also said they wanted to shag Tali. Funny how that works, no?

I wouldn't consider it desolate. The part we see has a big city and a religious place. I just wouldn't expect to see any recreational beaches as we know them.

Evolution #3 says about Palaven in its description: "a radiation-scarred planet turned civilized." We only see the two areas I mentioned above, and one far-out view of the planet.

Eh, I guess it depends on what sorts of beaches one thinks of.  I just referenced my copy of #3 and the green water didn't seem particularly out of place since that all depends on what flora, fauna, and minerals are in it.  Meh.  Who knows.  There's probably some point I'm missing somewhere.

Related to news about ME3 and delicious Garrus:  Does anyone know if the May Game Informers are on shelves yet- and, if so, can they be purchased anywhere but GameStop?  I don't want to have to go through a 15-minute subscription-pimping spiel just to get my crack ME3 fix.  My local store only had April's but seemed to indicate that May would be out soon.  Anyone?
