I'd also like to see shirtless Garrus 8D but I'm not really expecting it haha. I'd much rather have an sweet and emotional romance scene over one with shirtless Garrus for fear it it would end up like the Jacob romance scene /shudders. But hey if they can pull off a sweet and emotional scene and somehow weave a shirtless Garrus into it I'm all for it!

I disagree with nothing youve said here.  hehe, workin on it... should be done soon.  i promise!     also, YES!  Nihlus has done so much more than grow on me. lol.   He's the next turian that I will be drawing, i think. 

wow, i miss so much overnight.   I agree with shirtless Garrus making up for silly half nekkid asari waving thier sh*t around. 
I definitly would rather a sweet emotional scene than a gratuitous nekkid time scene, honestly... im a hopeless romantic at heart.  though....

On Virmire, Garrus comments that it reminds him of home.. maybe he was just referring to the weather? Or maybe Palaven has changed a great deal since the FCW (which was what, 20 or 30 years ago so that's possible).

I must say his eyes look a little scary with no shading. And he doesn't look quite like Garrus without his tattoos
There's not much detail here I'll add it in during the colouring.

Yes you can totally have both elements without ruining the romance scene. Jacob's was gross because of the way femshep was acting; I mean did you see her face?? The tone of the scene was the problem not that Jacob took off his shirt. Something like this for example would look absolutely beautiful




 this is what I have in mind when I ask for shirtless garrus. Not just an imitiation of Miranda and Jacob's scenes but one that's shows a loving connection between the characters through physical touch (since kissing like two humans would be hard)  If the tone and animations are tender and gentle I can really see it working.

Welp, I romanced Garrus and have a huge lady boner for him but I'm pretty sure Garrus nudity in the context of a romance scene would make me want to bury my head in the sand. You just can't pull off a bow-chicka-wow slow tilt camera shot of sexy sexy carapace and hope to be taken seriously, and I really don't want the Garrus relationship to turn into a big joke of the game. Okay, maybe YOU can pull off a tasteful scene in your head, but thinking on the way they directed the Jacob and Miranda scenes makes me really uncomfortable at the prospect. The only context I can see it working is a non-sexed-up shot of Garrus suiting up. Would fulfil science curiousity and give those of us interested in seeing such a thing something to grin about. Fanservice that doesn't scream "HERE'S YOUR FANSERVICE, COME AND GET IT LADIES ;-* ."

Of course at this point the discussion is purely academic. I seriously doubt they're at a point in their development where they could comfortably change the way such a scene will be done. Whether that means topless Garrus or not remains to be seen.

I hear you , I do want it to be presented properly and I defiantly don't want a bow-chicka-wow-wow moment to happen  the garrus/femshep romance should never be like that.

Hopefully what that Jacob romance taught them was that femshep behaving like a sex starved cougar is not what we want to see. The whole tone of it was just ...ugh...Really, can't even watch it on youtube without going "why on EARTH do you think we wanted our femsheps to  ACT like that!?"

see even that I would be happy with. I forgot to add that I would also be perfectly happy with a shot of him patching himself up after a mission. That could work.

I do hope it’s good though. The end of ME2 was just the beginning of their romantic relationship, I am excited but anxious to see what they have come up with.

Personally, I really don't care in what context we would see a potential shirtless Garrus. I'm not all about the bow-chicka-wow either, I'm just honestly curious as to what he looks like under all that bulk. I'd settle for an arm at this point.

Maybe we could have a scene where Shepard and his/her team are captured and stripped to their underthings like in KotOR. I'd die from lol-ing if Garrus was rocking Carth's one-piece bathing suit thing.
