I think the snow was blowing around, but it coulda just been existing snow being stirred by the wind.
And the Inamorda quest actually glitched for me the last time through...I gave the package to Opold, and then went back to see how upset Inamorda would be, and he said something like, "OK I got my package now beat it, they'll get suspicious if they see us talking!" Huh?? o_o LOL

As I recall, the roof of Peak 15 has some accumulated snow but no actual precipitation. If shielded, I imagine any 'snow' is slow-drifting water vapor, some atmospheric and some exhaled by workers, the froze and accumulated in the roof's sustained climate, which while clearly cold is not cold enough to be an EVA hazard.

IN short since Garrus is dextro- instead of amino, his... stuff would taste like sugary drinks.
Like mountain dew, since sugar has the same build as a dextro thing.

Also, I can believe they wouldn't be able to digest the same things we do because of this enzyme difference but I don't know what to think about stuff like ethanol.
I'm no expert (or do know anything about it but I like to think about this stuff) if there's someone who knows more about this kind of things, I'd really like to have a chat!

Most sugars have a dextro build. So tasting sweet actually has everything to do with being dextro based
