Shirtless or not, Garrus is still awesome.

He Who Aims From Afar is awesome indeed. May He calibrate us all.

Yes. :D  he can calibrate me anyday.   erm... *ahem*  lol

and my biggest problem with the Jacob scene?  JACOB!!   he's so...  just... EW!   I don't want to be treated like  a "priiiize"  i want to be treated like a lady. and like i'm loved.  not like a sex object. and thats what i see from jacob.   Garrus is so sweet and caring.

That picture posted earlier of him shirtless...  thats hot. and sweet.  and everything that i would LOVE to see in the game. I mean, yes... a hot sex scene would be nice... but i'd rather something tender, cause thats how I see Garrus and Shepard. loving and sweet.

And the Palaven thing.. gotcha. see, I just thought that was the temperature. but I dunno.

Also, I think that maybe someone plays a joke on him and steals his clothing, leaving him with nothing but a towel. .... a small towel.....  :innocent:;)

Plus femshep has to knock off the sultry thing, she’s at her worst during Jacob's romance. Time to get sweet and loving dammit! If there's one thing I worry about, is that my femshep will be forced to say something rude or out of character to Garrus again. Give us more dialogue options to respond with this time so this can be avoided. Seriously, I don’t want this to happen;

Agreed. But I'm a wimp, I even felt bad when she called him ugly. I know it was that 'soldier buddy jokey' thing, but still. People who live in glass houses, lady glowing scars...

If I had any interest at all in Jacob I probably would have been down with her panting all over him.  It's just that there wasn't any choice given in her approach.  I haven't played more than a little of Dragon Age, but I understand there are different ways you can approach each of the relationships.  It'd be neat if Bioware stuck with that sort of mechanic.  Choose to approach things in a sweet and tender manner or a sultry and aggressive manner.  They even gave you a lot more versatility in the relationships with Jack and Miranda--with Jack you can wam bam thank you ma'am or get to know and romance her.  With Miranda there is a conversation that can end with flirtatious teasing or else you can grab and kiss her.  Ah well, knock on wood that they'll give the Garrus relationship its fair shake.

I agree, some romances had different pathways you could take. Garrus' was pretty much one route. And lol hyrule_gal! You come up with the funniest things!!

But I am just so ecstatic that he is confirmed, I've been happy for the past two days because of it!

I am 100% in favor of more epic bromance between my ManShep and Garrus.  I want to see more fun, brotastic, jokey dialogue.  Something that shows how awesome they are to each other.

By the beard...Now that you've pointed it out, I can't stop staring and laughing a little. But, hey! That lineart looks great! Can't wait for full color Ganders.

Romance, bromance, not always a difference ;)
Truthfully, I like how Garrus is FemShep's bro whether or not you romance him.  I think that they handled it especially well and, even if you didn't go down the romance path with him, he's still FemShep's homeboy.

I really hope that they keep that mechanic there, but it's kind of quintessential Garrus to be Shep's wingman so I doubt that they'd remove it.  Even if he becomes a Spectre, he's still gonna be your bro.

EDIT: Loving the Ganders lineart!  I am envious of your crisp lines :D

I'd like to see more friendship dialogue too, and not just with Garrus. But mostly with Garrus, because he didn't have much to say on the Normandy if you didn't romance him.

I completely agree with this. More sweet moments, please, BioWare. They did a great job with Garrus, and everything he said was perfect. FemShep's lines could have been done better though, specifically those in the final romance scene. I thought the other lines were good, especially her response when Garrus asks if she wants someone "closer to home." But more emotional lines during the romance scene, when Garrus was being emotional too, would have been really nice. The biggest problem was that they stopped treating this like a "sparring match" a few conversations ago, and then FemShep... treats it like a sparring match again, at least with her words. The unspoken part, when she touched Garrus' face, was both brilliant and adorable. I hope to see more of that in ME3.

I've never made a Shepard call him ugly either. D: I mean, it would work for my EvilShep, because he is the type to make jokes that I think of as mean-spirited, adding insult to injury (literally), and respond to Garrus in a "walk it off, nothing's changed" sort of way... but I think turians are just so adorable. At least Garrus would laugh it off and throw a joke right back at him.

I look away for 5 minutes and suddenly everyone has "Nihlus for ME3" banners. I absolutely approve of course. Maybe you can buy him that gold Saren statue for his room.

So then, what's Garrus going to be renegade-raging about in ME3 then? Have the Salarians finally designed a fully self-calibrating forward battery for the Normandy?

If they have, Garrus will shoot them down far before they reach the Normandy.

As much as I like Nihlus... if they resurrected him instead of Saren, MainShep would walk up to TIM and say, "Great job, but wrong turian Spectre." xD And MainShep really wants that golden Saren statue in her room. She already has a Sovereign model to stare at her when she sleeps and remind her of how she failed to save Saren. Why not add her favorite piece of art in the whole galaxy to her collection?

Most people say that about my Earthborn Ruthless Shepard. xD But he did sort of raise MainShep. She may be a little crazy, but I think Saren would like crazy, so it all works out.

Yes! More bro-Vakarian in ME3 please! Really if him or Joker (possibly both) still won't say nothing bro-like about MaleShep's romance (especially in case he's involved with one of the ME1 girls) the game won't be complete for me, even if anything else is perfect.

Also, I suppose a new set of pro-Garrus banners is needed. It's no more necessary supporting his possible return in ME3 :D

We need a personal mission for Saren or Nihlus (Yes, they're obviously going to be squaddies in ME3) to get his statue and add it to the Captains quarters. Also, make copies of it and spread them throughout the Normandy.

Brilliant idea. MainShep would already be the Sarendoctrinator of the Mass Effect universe. Spreading giant statues of Saren throughout the Normandy is just the kind of propaganda hero worship she would go for.
