Enough with the romance.
Let's talk about bromance!
I am 100% in favor of more epic bromance between my ManShep and Garrus. I want to see more fun, brotastic, jokey dialogue. Something that shows how awesome they are to each other.
YES, he is by far the most interesting character in ME2, his conversations were always great when they got more light hearted, but he was always so moody.<_<

Garrus' writer said that he was "definitely under 30" in ME1. It is possible for turians under 30 to become Spectres before their 15 years of military service are complete, so it might work the same way with C-Sec.Wardog15 wrote...
There is no way garrus is under 30, he would still be active in the turian military. He is probably about 40, seeing as he was experienced enough in C-Sec to lead an investigation on a Spectre but not enough to have made peace with the system.

Garrus always seems to come off as mid-to-late twenties to me, which didn't quite make sense to me either, Wardog. That'd put him in the service for 10 years or so before taking another job (i.e. with C-Sec) unless it's considered something like an MP? Maybe the 15 year term is only if you don't go into another law enforcement/military career?

You can just see it in his face:Platform_Error wrote...
Im very entertained by Garrus in this screenshot
Garrus' mind: "I can take it cool, it's not like a smalltimer like this could do anything to Shepard."

Yes! More bro-Vakarian in ME3 please!
The correct term is "BROkarian". GARrus BROkarian.

I suppose that is possible, though he was in the military before C-Sec, so I don't really think he could be any younder then 25. Even taht to me is cutting it pretty close. He does come across as young in the first game, but the Garrus of ME2(though being only little more than two years older) trikes me a postively middle aged. Though I guess what he was through does that to a guy.

Also I was thinking did Shepard acutally age during the lazurus project? Because sure it took them 2 years to rebuild her but they were rebuilder her exactly as she was before she died.
That would mean ME2 she would be about the same age as Garrus.

Pat Weeks says that Garrus is probably no older than 30. Can't get more cannon than that. Or is the discussion how close to 30 he is?
I'll stick to 29/30 range myself... it makes me feel better. LoL

Stephi, my head canon for Garrus puts him around 30.
I am starting to feel cougarish about his romance now...

On a completely different note, I thought he would look nice with red war paint instead of the blue. It doesn't look as good, but it's still nice looking.

Now I just need to find a red armor mod to match...

Then again I'm a lot younger than both Shepard and Garrus...
I do think Shepard is the more mature one in the relationship... Does that make it cougarish?
On another note Damnit Anders! Qhy do you wear those stupid impossible hard to draw feathery things on your shoulders!

@kg:
I guess what's nice about the BW games is the relationships are possible with 20 and 30 somethings.
I've been really tired of the teenagers save the world and experience all worldly things. Even as a teen I eye rolled it. It's warped my view of what 'adult' is, for sure.
I find myself not wanting to think to much about the stuff in the GI mag article popping up. I'm content that Gar's coming back, but if I start thinking about all the things I want to see... maybe I should phrase it more like, I'd love to see... or something.
Bioware has done one hellava job on these damn games. I was so keyed up the other night after hearing the characters coming back. I couldn't sleep.
This is normal, right?

and ... to comment on the resurrecty thing... I honestly don't see then ressurecting Saren OR Nihlus. *tear*
maybe some new turians?
edit: and OH YES Stephi. its normal. I've been bouncing around and tellig everyone that he's back. Whether they've even heard of ME or not. lol
