Yeah, I think Garrus's romance is the most "hidden" of all the LIs: you have to follow one of several "investigate" options and keep asking him about it until the romance option comes up, and then you have to confirm =P. With Thane for example the "I want youuu" pops up by just talking to him, and I think the only way not to flirt with Jacob is to pick neutral options :S

I would like to pop in and say that I'm STILL freaking out about the earlier confirmation of Garrus as a squadmate. Unlike ME2, where it was down to the wire and when we had to put all the evidence together, this time I can kinda sit back and truly enjoy all the revelations without any fear that his slot would be filled by someone else. I'm still hoping we see a lot more permanent squadmates announced, as well as the ones that are temporary adds (on the PC version, expect to find them modded in as permanent like Liara was). Now that Bioware's going that combination route, a lot of unexpected possibilities and gameplay scenarios open up.

I WANT MY GARRUS TO LIVE.

It does, however, depress me that this is the final game in the trilogy. Hudson's mention of a possible MMO gives me hope for a long-term extending of the franchise, but I'd like to see a new trilogy set in the future, too.

Tell me about it. Best news ever. My two favorite squaddies from the series were announced right off, so anything else for me at this point is icing.

... Now I just get to worry for half a year about whether or not FemShep and Garrus get a proper ending.

These were fun as anything. I couldn't figure out how to accurately portray the full glory that is the rapeface of a Shepard of either gender in heat. Regardless, they get the message across. They're exactly twice as high and half as long as the other banners (such as the Saren & Nihlus one):

To me that is as likely as not having Garrus for a LI or bro. In other words, won't happen.

Haven't posted in here in awhile but: yay, Garrus confirmation!  This was really the only bit of information I was waiting for in regards to ME3, and I can't believe we get it so early.

I also had a thought that with both Garrus and Kaidan (my ME1 LI) set to return to my ME3 squad, the option of leaving Garrus to return to Kaidan seems like it may become a romance variable.  Buuut, just the thought sends me into a depression!  Maybe, MAYBE I could do it with one of my Thane playthroughs, but considering Garrus's entire "I want something to go right...just once..." line I don't think I could ever do that to him - even for science. 

Hopefully someone braver than I will be able to do this and put it on YouTube, like the ME2 Garrus rejection scene.

I want to say I'd never do that to Garrus, but this may be our last game with him. I'm going to pick every option and variable I can and savor them, sad or not.

My canon playthrough has Shepard with no relationship in ME1 and Ash as the VS, but I'm going to try to do a PT where I cheat on Kaidan with Garrus now that I know they're both squaddies. I have to see if there's an awkward encounter between the two of them when Kaidan joins up again. Awkward Garrus is the best Garrus.

That "turian badass" banner is awesome!

I think an Archangel comic would be cool. But a game? I would play it and enjoy it, obviously... it would just be kind of a strange choice. If there were too many choices, there would be no canon past for Garrus. If they did make a canon past for Garrus, there would be no choices, which is unusual for a BioWare game. Either way, I'm sure they know that we want to know about Garrus' time on Omega.

As far as I know, Thane hasn't been confirmed either.

I want everyone from ME2 back.  But the ones I really want back are Garrus, Miranda, Tali, and Legion.  Garrus is a yay, and I'll bet you anything Tali's back.  Not as sure about Miri.

I know the chances of Legion returning are relatively slim, but he's seriously my favorite BioWare character ever after Anders.

Yeah, if you don't count the PCs.  There was a poll a few weeks ago for favorite BioWare character (squaddie, really), by the same person who did all the ME surveys.  My best friend and I ended up having to do it bracket style, and Anders came out #1 for me.  

And I'm happy Legion's in the game, even if it isn't a squaddie.  Legion was the awesomest.
