I just don't want to know ANYTHING about ME3. I got confirmation that the two squaddies I was worried about are back and that's all I wanted. But, no, the BSN doesn't use spoiler tags.

That's the thing about Saren. I disagree with his methods, although I admire his goals and the ruthlessness with which he pursued them. Then again, I can say I disagree with them, but I'm also not out patrolling an extremely dangerous territory working with what he had to work with. In different circumstances, I can see myself going down his route. He was nothing if not effective.

Plus, even being a human, I'm not terribly thrilled with our behavior IRL, and I can't help feeling that humans in the ME 'verse are getting a bit too big too fast. Add to that the loss of a loved one at their hands, and I'd probably have a hate-on for the newcomers as well.

Human nature (and, apparently, turian nature) can be very dark indeed. All I'm saying is that it's easy to be peaceful, kind, and selfless when your belly's full, your family is alive and healthy, and you're safe. This is coming from someone who's a pretty mellow guy that most would describe as a hippie.

Actually in the novel he's not so bad with the humans, but he's terrible with batarians. And after playing the new DLC Arrival, I do hope the batarians will get some well deserved love in ME3.

Hm...I didn't make that out to be a speciesist issue with him.  (I'm guessing you're mainly thinking of Jella?)  Either way, definitely brutal.

If you've got access to the ME3 issue of Game Informer, I definitely recommend you check it out if you haven't already.  I think you'll be pleased.

There's Jella, and the guy he tortures and kill, Groto, is also Batarian. And the rafinery he blows up in the end is almost only batarian, with civilians and children. Im not saying he has something against batarians, but certainly dont have it easy.

Also, I'd like to see Garrus take a bullet for Shepard (not fatally of course). I think Shepard would be angry with him about it and when she confronts him it would be like,
Shepard: What the hell were you thinking?!
Garrus: I love you
Shepard: *paragon interrupt kiss while he's shirtless and bandaged*

 so, I actually just finished ME1 again... and in doing so, realized how much I love Saren. lol, a bit contradictory to the current topic, i know... But ... I feel a bit bad for him, honestly. He's not a terribly nice guy, but he's damned determined, and ANYONE who's ever seen Serenity will understand when I say that he fights for what he believes. Even before indoctrination... he's always fought viciously for what he believes, and that gets my respect in full. His methods aren't "right" but, he gets the job done, and I imagine thats why they made him a Spectre. He's ruthless and unforgiving, but thats not always a bad thing.
Also, I dont think I ever realized just how HOT he is. *sighs*  when did I become a xenophile? lol. 

Re: Garrus implants... I dont mean like Saren's... but I'm not sure the extent of his injuries, ya know? I mean, maybe bone replacement implants or something. I dunno. lol.

also, Mr. quarian, I agree with your view on humans. I rather actually hate most of them, I'm kinda a misogynistic cynic. holy crap, say that one 5 times fast.

My guess is either Garrus or Tali.  Possibly both.  They seem to be the gateways to xenophilia.

Me too! I spent the whole first game waiting for a chance with him. Instead of that, I got Kaidan without wanting him. Never understood how that happened...

The Garrus disc thing made me remember something.  There's a folder of Garrus' grunts and other little sounds that is absolutely amazing if you make a playlist and loop/shuffle it.  Totally juvenile?  Yes.  Do I care?  No.

After seeing that on here I went and watched the whole movie. It's awesome. Has to be the hottest Cyborg ever btw *ahem* and yes, I can totally see the Shepard/Garrus vibe in that relationship.

Yes he's hot  Now I can add " muscley cyborg with bunny ears" to the list weird characters I find attractive.
