I think he only chose it because he saw shep dancing to it in ME1. At the time, he probably watched her and thought "she LIKES this??? humans..." but then used  it in the final romance scene because he thought that's what she liked. He probably didn’t realize it wasn’t appropriate for that moment ,all he knew is that it was the only song he’ s seen shepard enjoy.

That is so cute. 

I swear I heard Garrus making sarcastic comments about the music when I brought him to flux.

@CulturalGeekGirl: I read your blog about your Shepard's romance arc. It was wonderfully written. I loved how you started out very meta, but as you wrote it started sounding more and more like it was Shepard herself who was writing. Your experience was so different from my own, but it was a pleasure to read.

I'm sure if Garrus saw the mesmerised glaze over my Shepard's eyes while she was watching the techno turian, then he must have gotten the idea that she like a turian busting some good moves.

And if Garrus dances anything like that, then he will it will be necessary for him to teach Shepard some moves.

I hate BW for making me want him. Last time I hated them was when I
discovered that Bishop in NWN2 was supossed to be a LI but got
cancelled. 

Edit: mmm, I think NWN2 was Obsidian's too. God, I hate them always! 

When I first played ME1, I read through the wiki about all the LI's after meeting Garrus.  I kept hoping that somewhere, somewhere, there was a hidden romance option or something.  But no.  A whole day spent on the damned wiki only to finally accept the obvious: Garrus was not an LI.  I inwardly raeged, pined for that blasted turian, and stalked him throughout the rest of the game, watching him calibrate the mako.  Yes, my Shep was a creepy stalker.  I also kept talking to him in the vague, senseless hope that new dialogue would pop up.
