"and through it aaaaall, she offers me protection
a lot of love and affection
whether I’m right or wrong
and down the waterfaaaaall
wherever it may take me
I know that life wont break me
when I come to call, she wont forsake me
I’m loving angels instead"
Couldn't be helped

Although, I gotta say, whereas I get the collar pop quite often when I bring Garrus along, I've only ever seen the Robot Dance once. Legion now stubbornly refuses to do it, even if my Shep stands gawking at it for minutes on end. It's like the proverbial watched pot that never boils.
EDIT: Ogeez, I just noticed the Robbie Williams excerpt. Dammit. Must now find another song to get stuck in my head instead. Gah!

Hyrule! Are you eavesdropping on my playlist? I swear I just played that before reading your post.

Speaking of music, I'm making a Garrus playlist and I was wondering if I could have some suggestions. Songs that you think are perfect for Garrus in general, or shippy songs that you think are just right for Garrus and Shepard (bromance is welcome as well).

Oh the die hard song for sure. Garrus would play this while he totally owns everything.

"Wanted Dead or Alive" - Bon Jovi
"Lonely Day" - System of a Down (really makes me think about his attempted last stand on Omega)
There are probably lots of other great choices, most would be upbeat rock or metal, the sort of stuff one listens to when they're.. popping the heatsink.

After his loyalty mission, Shep sent him a copy of Billy Joel's "Shades of Grey."
Some things were perfectly clear, seen with the vision of youth
No doubts and nothing to fear, I claimed the corner on truth
These days it's harder to say I know what I'm fighting for
My faith is falling away, I'm not that sure anymore

Julia Shepard is a secret Billy Joel fangirl. I put "Uptown Girl" and "Only the Good Die Young" on my 360 and listened to them over and over again while doing the Mako missions (that and "Don't Fear the Reaper").CulturalGeekGirl wrote...

Anything Bon Jovi for Shep and Garrus being straight-up badass.
"This is War" by 30 Seconds to Mars. I'm starting to apply that damned song to every BioWare game ever.
If you want sappy, shippy, nausea-inducing sweet, "My Hands" by Leona Lewis is the song I involuntarily think of for the romance.

"This is the world we live in
and these are the hands we're given
use them and let's start trying
to make it a place fighting for."
Tangentially related, I was listening to Jonathan Coulton's cover of Famous Blue Raincoat a few days ago, and it occurred to me that it perfectly captured the Kaidan/Garrus/Shepard love triangle. It would be from Kaidan's perspective, writing the letter to Garrus. It tells the story of two guys who were friends. One of them got the girl, the other one went off on his own, anyway... The imagery doesn't fit perfectly, but the emotion does.
"And you treated my woman to a flake of your life
And when she came back, she was nobody's wife."
