Perhaps we need a separate list for the Mako soundtrack.

Music for reckless driving and epic fights:
Arch enemy - Nemesis
System of a Down - BYOB
Metallica - For whom the bell tolls (SM)
Apocalyptica - Ion
Pantera - Cemetary Gates
Megadeth - A secret place
Disturbed - Indestructible
Jesus Built my Hotrod - Ministry
Let the Bodies Hit the Floor - Drowning Pool

Cool tunes for relaxed cruising (preferably in the company of a attractive alien).
Gorillaz: 19-2000
Gorillaz: stylo
Enjoy the Silence - Depeche Mode

Edit: Ooops, I have been top of the paged, here is a humble thing from my insignificant skills related to the Garrus music theme:

Garrus getting knocked out makes my Shepard go into a blood frenzy. Hehe.

And I like the Mako thresher maw soundtrack! Hehe. I like to listen to metal when I drive anyway. Probably why I am a bad driver... Hmm.

I'm ordering front-row seats. Also, this has to be one of the songs.
Here're some of my suggestions for cruising music.
Surrender Shepard - DJ Harbinger
Don't Fear the Reaper - Blue Oyster Cult (I actually did listen to this in the Mako)

You win the Internet for today ^_^

I can totally see my Jamie Shepard trying to get Garrus to sing "Guy Love" with him.

So how much do you think we'd have to bribe Meer and Keener to do this?

That was awesome! Definitely the best song for the musical's climax.

So Garrus = Turk and Manshep = JD?

This is one of my favorite pieces of fanart.

And I'm normally not one for slashing every character I come across (though I do admit to Remus/Sirius), but ManShep/Garrus is a slash couple I could actually ship.  The relationship between Shep and Garrus regardless of gender is all about emotional support and loyalty.  That applies equally well to ManShep.

What have I missed?

I've been nerding Game of Thrones for a good part of the day, so I've missed a lot of vital updates on my one and only nr1 bro in the universe.

You've missed this. Any suggestions? All the other Garrus-fans have chipped in a song or two.

Garrus Playlist
There's a "cruising in the Mako" playlist as well.

Alright, I'd also like to add "....War Drums" from APC (the remixed version) to the Mako soundtrack... for all of us metalheads. God I love that song.

also edited for stupidity.  :D  Can I be the '****** to suggest "Commander Shepard." ??

Just a personal favourite but I have to suggest 'Life is a highway' by Rascall Flatts for the Mako playlist. My favourite song to listen to while driving my motorbike down the motorway.

Hoo boy, that's a difficult request. I'm mostly into older music (unless it's OST's like those made by Clint Mansell (f***ing Moon, ALL of my love), Hans Zimmer, etc), but I guess Big Iron with Johnny Cash (original song by Marty Robbins) would be a fairly apropos. It always gives me Garrus vibes when I hear it.

Someone suggested this long ago--I can't remember where or when I saw it--and I've not been able to erase it from my head ever since. It plays in my mind right continuously after the big Archangel reveal on his recruitment mission. "I'm Not Done" by Fever Ray. Lyrics as follows:

So, I lost my head a while ago
But you seem to have done no better

We, we set fire in the snow
It ain't over, I'm not done

Some do magic
Some do harm
I'm holding on, holding on
I'm holding on to a straw

Who is the Alpha
And what is made of cloth
How do you say you're sorry and there's nothing
to be afraid of?

Is it dark already
How light is a light
Do you laugh while screaming
Is it cold outside?

One thing I know for certain
Oh I'm pretty sure
It ain't over
I'm not done

I'm spreading the word to all my fellow Garrus fans. They'll soon be restocking the Garrus tees, so be on the lookout! And ladies~they're going to sell them in women's sizes, too. :D

Same here! It makes me happy knowing Garrus has such a large, loyal, passionate fanbase. I really hope this encourages them to make more (quality) Garrus merch.

I have been busy today, and am just going to get busier all week, but TMBG "She's an angel" is great for any femshep romance, Garrus in particular. (that particular live vid has a bit of an intro, it's cute though.)

Why did they send her, over anyone else?
How should I react?
These things happen to other people,
They don't happen at all, in fact.

When you're following an angel does it mean you have to throw your body off a building?
Somewhere they're living on a pinhead, calling you an angel, calling you the nicest things.
I heard they had a space program when they sing you can't hear there's no air
Sometimes I think I'd kinda like that, and other times I think I'm already there.

(Also, I was cruising other character threads a few days ago... this is probably the first thread in the history of the universe where music is brought up and nobody says "lame" about any of it. I <3 you guys.)

I must have had all this talk of Garrus music on the brain today... totally cracky song. I was listening to "I've Got Some Falling to Do" by Lemon Demon, and my brain made it about Shep and Garrus. I'm not really suggesting this as a serious addition... but it's a laugh!

youtu.be/CKUngEUGfLU

Compelled to explain... the singer falls out of a plane (Normandy), 'into the sky,' and has a talk with the [Arch]Angel of Death: "...and he says, 'what's up?'" I say 'what is it this time' and he says, 'Well. Hello, goodbye, I'll see you in hell!'" (the whole talk about walking into hell). Also, there's how the Angel of the Death is "such a nut," (heh) the singer wishes to 'go out in style,' (Garrus' "stylishly" quote), and how dying is 'something new... I guess it all depends on your point of view.

Granted, there is a part later on about a squid that only makes sense if there's a hanar around...
