Hehe that's very nice of you to say.

Up until now my stuff has been average at best, and even that's a stretch. But this....something weird has been going on while I've been drawing it, and all of a sudden I'm working out how to do all the stuff I've seen other artists doing that's baffled me.

So everyone, in the interest of striking up a conversation, what was that one moment when you realized Garrus absolutely had to be your Shepard's LI? Assuming you did pick him, anyway.

For me, it was when he talked about Sidonis, and wanting to go on that loyalty mission. Garrus is just like my boyfriend in so many ways, that just tipped the scale for me, haha. Best part is he agrees with me on the similarities. P:

In ME1 when the camara panned onto the two turians discussing Saren.
For realz... I couldn't have Nihlus...
I loved him from the beginning... His attitude... when he took that shot at the merc that was holding the doctor when you first recruit him... yes. 
But I also liked Kaidan... *sighs* oh the choices. 

Seriously...yes, he reminds me of my boy. A crapload. Hell, my boy is even a sniper.  Mostly, cept he uses a really big machine gun. But he does it well.   They have similar attitudes. 

also more songs...  hmm.  I had another one. i'll hopefull remember later.  Now every time I listen to music... I try to compare it. *sighs*  i'm sad. lol

I'm actually not quite sure. It happened so gradually that I can't really pinpoint exactly when. I knew we were going to be buddies from when I saw him aguing with Pallin. As a Vanguard, he and Wrex/Ash were my go-to ground team, and I guess it started when I heard all his adorable little one-off lines. "Remember to stay hydrated" "I'm here if you need me" "right behind you, Shepard" *sigh*. He was also really funny, especially with Wrex. Almost every bit of inter-party banter consisted of those two snarking at each other.

I was in denial for a bit ("naw, I don't like Garrus. We're just really good friends. Good friends always stalk each other during their off time") but I eventually realized I was head-over-heels. That's around the time I first went on the Bioware forums (the older, uglier ones) and miraculously I found out that I wasn't the only one. 

All that was left to do was be as vocal as I could in hopes that we'd get a Garrus romance in ME2, and it worked!

This could also be a good song for FemShep breaking up with Kaidan to go with Garrus instead. Not that I could ever do that as I like Kaidan as well.

They didn't. Wich is partly why it's so appealing to me. The romances often feels like they are trying a bit too hard to make us like them, especialy Thanes. Don't get me wrong, I like Thane, he is handsome, exotic and all that.

It realy often is that way in the real life as well actualy. You find love where you least expected it and it often takes time to grow. I have often found myself thinking: "How did I become interested in her of all people? Oh well, if it works it works." I suspect it is a bit like that for Garrus and FemShep too.

Lol Thane. The "I want you, Thane" option came out of NOWHERE for me. I was just starting to become genuinely interested in him. Don't force it like that Bioware, give us time to develop the relationship beyond getting them into bed. xD

Ahahaha.  I remember that. We were having a nice conversation (can't exactly remember about what) and suddenly Shep has the option to say "I want you".

At least with Thane you had an option, though. When talking to Jacob, I was desperately searching for the "just friends" button.

I'd probably go with "Undisclosed Desires" for a romance song, it seems appropriate for many Bioware LIs and it's just a good song in general.

Is it strange that I don't find Thane physically attractive but can find almost all turians in the game physically attractive? Maybe it's the bright green scale thing.. but I'd rather go for the guys with the exoskeletons and pretty fringes.

And it's great that we can have so many interesting discusions around here without any needless bashing or arguments going.. all of the musical suggestions have been excellent and yay more MAKO love!

Kg - the only thing that would make that scene better is an antique shop
