This is kinda where I'm at too, Cheez. I'm preparing an essay about the Turian Hierarchy and Feudal Japan, which, if completed, will totally validate my otherwise unused Psych/East Asian Studies education.

(I'm also putting off finishing my Portal2 review. It's just... so hard to review that game).

Well, I too decided to just camp out here with the cool folks until the firestorm has passed. By the looks of it, though, it won't for a while.

But at least Club Garrus has good food, music, drinks, and of course above all else, Garrus himself in many delicious and gratifying flavors.

My God, the art around here is awesome.

Hi, I'm Shinobu and I love Garrus. He may be a six-fingered, dextro-protein based, anaphylaxis-inducing, blue-blooded scaly dino-cat-bird-turtle-WTF with needles for teeth, but at least he'll always be there for me. Plus, his voice and sense of humor are amazing.
(Of course now I'm terrified they'll kill him off in ME3. )

I don't know if the OP is stil updating, but can I add JediElderNishmo's Boulevard of Broken Dreams to the Garrus fan vid list?


It's one of my favorites, along with silentstephi's Life in the 22nd Century and solidfalcon77's Broken Soldiers (already on the list). I've been visiting the three of them daily for the past 3 weeks!

And lastly, is the composer of "Calibrations: A love song" around? I love that song! "Garrus, you've only got... six fingers~!" just gets me every time. I'd like to make a video for it if I can get her permission and figure out what clips to use.

That was indeed extremely jarring.

Oh man, there was another guy later on (Cricket's friend) where it was the voice of an adolescent in an adults body. Hilarious!   There's just no way to do it right with only an adult or child body model. But I guess implementing a teenager model is kind of a pain (but if the resources were there it would add a lot more flavour!)

@AdmiralCheez: Portal 2 is amazing, but - like the first one- quite short. I think my first playthrough took my something like 8 hours, and I got stuck at the silliest things for a while.  There is co-op too, but I havne't tried that yet. I'm trying to convince my friend to buy it, haha. I'd say it's probably done better than the first one. The voice acting is phenomenal (as always) and there's a LOT of it.  There's also a lot more variety in arenas, and some character development for a certain person. I dunno if most people would like to spend 60 (or 50 PC) on it due to the length, but I honestly didn't regret a second of it, I got my money's worth.

Also just: LOL at the melon-head Garrus. Eerily similar to the original picture
