I prefer Garrus' LM armour. The black and blue colour scheme suits him more than the chrome. Sure, the chrome looks more futuristic-y. But the black and blue makes him look more badass and dark. In a sexy way.

I too see this thread (and the Thane thread) as 'ahh home.' Some places are just hostile.

They gave a non-answer. The art director said they never decided what it was, they just kept the shape for the armor.

They said they haven't really decided. It came about as a sort of "plumage", but they're not sure (or just not telling us) how far it extends on the actual body, or what it's made of (skin? bone? cartilage?).

Turians sans cowl would be kind of interesting, IMO...I always just assumed that it was part of the body.

I already noticed they brought in his hips a bit, maybe it's good thing there isn't an official body shape yet because it means they can do what they can to make him compatible as a romance IF they decide to reveal his upper body.

The original concept art has it as sort of physical ridge, which seems to be how most fanart interprets it as well. There's no definite answer, though. We only have the original concept as "official" naked Turian art, and so I always assume that it's correct until we're explicitly told differently. But as of this point our imaginations are free to... run free.

I actually really like the DLC alternate armor for him. If only because its the only armor he has that isn't beaten to ******. which is sad.
But yes, the blue and black is terribly hot.. though I do like the addition of the silver. its a great color combo.
I'm not sure, however, what I think about them changing the hips and waist size for him.
