Agreed.  Garrus thread, you awesome.  Though I have been spending a lot of time in the Anders thread too, sometimes the sheer amount of insanity there gives me ME2 hype flashbacks and I have to take a breather.  They'll calm down...eventually...maybe

Chrome?

I like the chrome, TBH.  I did get the alternate appearance armor, but the Tron lights were a bit much for me.  I still would've preferred a version similar to his loyalty armor in ME2, but undamaged.  But the chrome's pretty sleek.  And he finally got rid of that bandage so now Shep can nuzzle BOTH his cheeks.

And I preferred the black and blue. I also kinda like the damaged armour, it looked pretty badass. And it showed his tough personality. But in terms of common sense, I can see why they fixed the armour.

I'd be ok with him keeping the damaged armor if it was just the score marks and burns, but there's a huge hole in the back of the collar ridge and another chunk missing from the front.  It's just not sensical to hold onto it if the fight of the last 50,000 years is approaching, you know?

And yeah, not wise to fight in something with chunks missing. Maybe Garrus will have an alternate armour in ME3 though like you do in ME2.

I would be very sad without my Garrus thread. I don't even go to the other ones on here, so I don't really know what you're talking about... but the world out ther sounds scary, and i like to stay where its safe.

Also, Hellbound!! Yay soldier paragades! Give me an assault rifle anyday of the week. I love my Vindicator.

Might I point out that even with massive holes in his armour Garrus is much better protected than any of your other squaddies (cough cough Jack).

Y'know.. a naked turian is probably a lot more dangerous than one in bulky armour that could slow him down. Talons, claws, teeth, spurs.. add some reach and flexibility and who needs weapons and armour any more?

truth.  I'm going to guess that they evolved out of carnivores.  And I'm guessnig they have plated skin... or at least much thicker than most other animals.
I imagine that the guns help them be a bit more dangerous.

I play an Adept, but through the wonderfulness that is Insanity difficulty, I have learned to love the Geth Assault Rifle.  Truly, being able to mow down one's enemies willy nilly is glorious.

Also, Paragades FTW.  *points to stamp*
