Funny we should be talking about his rifle...(don't click if bare chested turian squicks you out.)

"I love this rifle.

There, I think it's sufficiently prep'd. If you clicked and it squicks you out, can't say I didn't warn you.

Adopting turian orphans? And some of those names look human. :D It's probably for the best that MainShep doesn't know about this... She'd want to adopt them all.

I've yet to see someone develop a Turian face that made me think I was looking at a baby or a child. Not that it has to be all big pinchable cheeks. But look at Grunt who was designed to look distinctly young with his headplate not full developed. I can imagine a Turian child has incredibly short and not well defined fringes.

I like that baby turian picture. It's probably not realistic, but it's cute. xD

My first thought when I saw an image of Grunt was, "He looks like a young krogan." BioWare designed him very well. (Now they just need to make children/teenage turians next. And females.)

I'd prefer the live birth. Because frankly the mechanics involving anything else would make a Shepard/Garrus pairing physically difficult if not impossible.

This, very much so. I'd also rather not give more ammo to the people who already think that romancing Garrus is like banging a dinosaur.

I'll take boobs over banging a dinosaur, if I have to.

First, please tell me I'm not the only one who finds double yolk eggs creepy. I have both a Bachelor's and a Master's in Animal Science and for whatever reason.. I just can't stand them. I also usually buy cage free (not necessarily always organic, but definitely cage free) and aim for the smaller ones simply because they've been less likely to be doubled (in my experience anyway).

Secondly, I'd really prefer Turians laying eggs, but I'm not opposed to live birth. Live birth would give those "Turian wimminz should have boobz' sort some ammo.

There can be live birth but no need for glands like that.

And yes, the double egg yolks are freaky.  I'm also nearly always afraid I'm going to crack one of those things open and find a partial chick, but that's just my paranoia.

The eggs that are all bloody inside are gross.  I always wonder what happened there.

I don't think Garrus looks like a dinosaur/bird/chicken.  Turians are pretty unique looking.  My daughter still thinks Garrus looks like a cat, but I can only see that in his mouth and teeth.  One thing I like to imagine is that turians are some kind of being that are the result of years of evolution, with only the fiercest, most resilient traits rising to the surface.  I read an article about how human beings may one day develop a "mouseclaw" bone structure on our right hands because our hands are always scooped over a mouse so we can interact with computers.

Evolution doesn't really work that way. Unless people who don't have the "mouseclaw" die off (lol) which isn't going to happen unless the survival of the human race depends on how well we use computer mice.

Turians look mostly feline to me, as well.  My husband calls them crystaline cats.

Turians were based on avians, but even then, their design is one of the more unique and memorable.

Turians are the best designed aliens I've seen in science fiction.

Very true Collider, very true. I find it hard to compare them with any specific Earth spiecies, wich is great.

Some kind of space cat/bird/awesome/lizard/insect things.

Yeah, when I first played Mass Effect I immediately started categorizing the various alien species. I manged everyone but the Turians.

Asari - Standard hot chick/fanservice blue alien babes.

Krogan - Proud Warrior Race Guy. (Thank you tvtropes!)

Salarian - Basic "Grey" alien concept with a twist.

Quarian - Human-like, exo-suit wearing Roma/gypsies.

Elcor - Gentle giant slow-talking gorillas.

Volus - Standard Butt-Monkey, weakling race that are good with numbers.

Hanar - Big stupid jellyfish.

Turians - Umm bird-lizard thing...Yeah, I got nothing.  Except awesomeness.

Batarians - Human Dystopia civilization

Human - Utopian race with high ideals and morals

Drell - stoic assassin race

Protheans - Ancient race

Hanar - super-polite, peaceful race

Reapers - Galactic scourge

Rachni - Mindless bug race

What would make a REALLY unique race would be something that parodies humans in Sci-Fi games. A race of morally superior Idealists with a high amount of repressed rage/cynicism, entitlement issues, and a do-as-I-say-not-as-I-do agenda. Where only the top 8% of their species ever even leave their homeworld, which is crammed full of war, poverty, famine, crime and death.

Yeah the batarians are actualy a lot like the humans.

But the rachni are not the locust swarm of bugs that you can kill without remorse even if they seem like that at first. More like the standard ant queen society. There are probably some TV trope about that.

The turians feels like they are inspired by the roman empire, not just in the roman sounding names.

I would agree, since Turian society seems to have a heavy emphasis on service to the state, as well as a disciplined and strict military.

I love how we've been treated to so many Cerberus Network news reports about the turians. It's great! They're such an interesting race, culturally and otherwise. :)

Does than mean there will be an emphasis upon turians in ME3 with all the Cerberus Network News reports? Or it is just a filler, because they are probably not going to do that?

I'm hoping the former. Turian females FTW!
